    It’s all about the squeeze and contraction if you lift to heavy you are working out everything but what you are trying to work out, unless you’re powerlifting lol

      You don't think that your muscles are contracting hard during heavier lifting? I agree with you on the need for time under tension for hypertrophy, but the notion that you're not stressing muscle when lifting heavy is simply not true. If anything MORE muscles are working HARDER.

    I always did high reps when I was in highschool. And other kids would laugh at me because I didn’t lift heavy. But I was hanging out with the 12th graders and I was in the 9th grade. I was always looking for the pump lol

      +Ninja Method I wouldn't do it more than once every two to three weeks. Part of the reason it's effective is that it forces your body to make adaptations that it's not used to overcoming. The whole "shocking your body" thing...
