    The string sound on this synth is IMO the best string sound of all the stringers of the 70's. The Solina is the most popular so most people say that one is the best but for me the Logan String Melody II gives me the string sounds that I want. In my studio I couple it with a Hammond B100 organ and a Yamaha CS10 for lead and bass to give me an alternative sound to using a Yamaha SK30 for each of the individual parts. Anyhow in my opinion for strings the Logan rules supreme

    Actually, all the divide-down string machines from the era sound nearly identical to me. They try to filter and phase and mix to give some variety but there's not a lot you can do with the fundamental sound they make.
