    I always love watching these transformations.
    I've been 220lbs for years, was not really growing muscle, getting stronger, or anything. Just kind of stuck at skinny fat.
    Decided to make the change last week. I started playing disc golf, cleaning up my diet and putting more emphasis on protein, biking frequently, and strength training. In this period alone, I already dropped 5lbs, I have more energy and everything day to day is getting easier. My goal is to get to 200 by the end of the summer, and probably next year get lean and more muscular state.

    You said it man. Don't let the hypothetical obstacles get in the way of the literal work in front of you. And I'd add "don't let perfection be the enemy of good/better" since it seems to pair well with that.
    Keep up the great effort! I need to clean up the space I exercise in so I can try to make some Tom Sharpe style videos :)

      That's the winning combo man. Basically covers all areas of getting started, with those two for sure.
      Do it!! Even if I had viewers or not, just documenting the process for myself is very beneficial! I'm just blessed people are watching! Views or no views it's worth it.
      Yep thats my brother, train with him every Saturday before he starts work.

    dont let the fears be in your mind but not in reality.. thats a good phrase! thanks for the video. happy to know you are introducing carbs cause i think that will give u some nice gym sessions.. looking forward to the next vids

    Great progress so far fella! And definitely mate! bang on about what happens after the binge, my binge has just cost me a week off Zwift just after improving my FPT from 170 to 212! It is a bit like doing a nightshift you gotta sleep it off too! Ie 5 days binge, 5 days to get back to where I was 😳

    hey man im in the same boat. weighing about 381 at 6'7" at 43 yrs old. high blood pressure and high cholestrol. i have a 6 yr old little girl who is my motivator lol, everyday shes like "lets go to the gym". will go for an hour do weight machines, and free weights then cardio (bike or treadmill) for about 30 mins. come out a sweaty mess, have cut out sodas and the occassional candy bar. now its water and fairlife protein shakes and FRUIT (havent eaten this much fruit in forever)
