Hilux/Fortuner Automatic Headlight Sensitivity Adjustment

Auto Headlight Sensitivity can be adjusted to allow headlights to turn on sooner or later based on ambient light level. This is performed by operating the light control switch. Sensitivity can be adjusted by between +40% and -40%.

Worked perfectly with the new Fortuner. Thanks a lot man! I didn’t like the headlamps unnecessarily turning on for example when passing under trees etc hence setting to the lowest sensitivity helped

After watching this i finally figured out why the hell the headlights keep staying on in the dam fortuner...Misses brought a dash cover to stop the glare while driving also blocking the bloody sensors lmao....🤬🤬😁👍

Nice. How about a 22 Prado? The lights are so sensitive when passing under a bridge on a freeway, they flick on and off for a quick second. It would be great to make them less sensitive.

This can be customised using a good diagnostic tool. We use Techstream and we enter Customise Setting-Light Control.

A 2022 SR5 can have the seatbelt warning buzzer turned off using a diagnostic tool. We use Techstream and enter Customise Settings-Warning
