FYI, this video is the process for rebuilding calipers not abused by former owners. For rebuilding calipers with dust boots that are glued in with multiple layers of anti-squeal goop and pistons tightly clamped in by hardened old seals, expect a much tougher disassembly process.

Just a few criticisms... the Brembo decal was off kilter a bit. And... did you just put on the old brakes? Come on... if you're going to go through all that... get a new set of brakes too! And the last thing... where the other side? Did you only rebuild one caliper? lol.

@@I_leave_mean_comments Hey, I did do both sides but for the sake of the video I just showed one side. (alot of work goes into positioning the camera to view everything being my first video it was a learning experience) The pads I used were infact used but still had alot of life left on them. At 8:20, how come the black coating wasn't fully removed on the surfaces where the two halves would make contract? Wouldn't it be better to plug the holes and powder coat that area, as well?

But you can order dust shields and seals on ebay or rock auto, here is the ebay items I used. www.ebay.com/itm/38mm-42mm-Stoptech-Brembo-Front-Brake-Caliper-Rebuild-Kits-Qty-2/263548578272?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

only thing I don't care for is you pulling the fkn pistons out with channel locks on the sealing surface! If you're rebuilding your brakes, DONT EVER DO THIS! And you powder coated on the pressure seal surface for the brake line banjo bolt sealing washer. That could cause some serious problems if you don't remove that.. Otherwise, looks good.
