- Camping in Vermont was an eye-opening experience. As I drove through the Green Mountains, it felt as if I were in a different country entirely. I love when a nearby state can transport you like that. The mountains were vibrant, and it was quiet and peaceful with few people to add any noise. The people I did meet out at nearby restaurants, or while hiking and visiting waterfalls, were all incredibly friendly.
I can't wait to go back.
