Car Mounted Hammock for Camping | Kammok Outpost System Review
This is the Hammock Outpost System, a vehicle mounted hammock system that makes it easy to set up your hammock just about anywhere. With many park wisely prohibiting the use of hammocks on their trees and in the absence of any trees at all, this system really comes in hand. I’ve gotten the chance to use this system and Kammok's Double Roo hammock and I’ve been loving it for my camping trips.

I recently completed the last stages of the Camino de Santiago - Frances Way and I documented the entire thing, mostly to remember everything. Is the Delta 2 the perfect camping power station? I've been using the Eco Flow Delta 2 as my power station for all of my camping and overlanding adventures. After living in this Jeep for month increments on the road (and off the road) this past 2 years, I've built up what I think is a good intermediate overlanding rig. Best Overlanding Refrigerator Slide? | MORryde Trail Kitchen Review

I've been using and LOVING the MORryde trail kitchen this summer as my overlanding build continues to evolve for future trips. How hard would it be to add a rain fly? What about without using stakes? Could you tie the rainfly to the A frame feet? Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching! Yeah that would be super easy to do. Kammok actually has some tarps to do this as well!
Great Video!!! Have thought about hiking the PCT?
Thanks for watching! I have thought about it. It’s on my list haha
All that to power a cellphone. lol
Do you think kammok is tall enough to add a haven tent?
Yeah I believe so, especially being able to adjust the height on one of the sides (the other side depends on vehicle height). I plan to try that setup in the future!
Can you mount 2????
It depends on how much wait your crossbars or rack can support, but from a Kammok standpoint yes you can
Which route did you take for the Camino?
Camino Frances!
@@mattzefi nice! I’m planning the Camino next year after my daughter’s NYU Dental graduation! I can’t wait (for both actually, lol) great video! I’ve also been watching your jeep overlanding videos. Heading to Prince Edwards Island in 3 weeks in my jeep. Looking forward to more videos. cheers!
@@jmftt That's sounds amazing, both the graduation and camino haha. Thanks for watching! Prince Edwards Island looks beautiful, enjoy your trip!
I have done my research but would like to get more confirmation. Can ecoflow delta 2 power a 1/3 hp 5.2amp sump pump?
Your content is fantastic! Interested in partnering to sponsor a product?
If you pull the slide out will it glide out or does it catch half way when the next rail starts extending?
Good question, it pauses I guess when the next rail starts extending. Entirely unnoticeable though IMO. Seems to be the perfect amount of friction on the slide
perfect for beach. Do they ship to India?
Absolutely! Yes, according to their website they ship worldwide. Thanks for watching 🤙
Beautifully filmed!
Thank you! And thanks for watching 🤙
New York comment at the end🤣🤣
You get it bro 😂 also what a guy sticking around for the end
That thing is pretty cool. The ball mount is genius.
Right! Makes it really easy to move around.
Thanks for watching 🤙🤝
What are your thoughts on hammock camping??
$479 on prime day today (new) 7-17-24
Do I remember right that these power stations don't work in cold climates?
Good question, I suppose it depends how cold. I believe they can’t retain as great a capacity in extreme heat and cold.
What’s the name of the Car? 😢
Jeep Wrangler
How do I do this without removing any of my seats? I want to build a platform for my bed so I can put storage under my bed. How do I do that? What are the measurements for after you cut
What if i don't want to get what is the after cut i don't have equipment need someone to cut for me
let us know when you’ve figured out the 12v plug. I’ve wired mine up to a 12v fuse panel but still have to check the plug to make sure it didn’t fall out, but I truly love the DC to DC 800watt battery charger it’s a game changer 😊
Been looking for economical liners for my 18' JK, I think I'll give this a shot. Good video and subscribed. I'll let you know how it turns out.
You’re gonna love it! Let me know how it goes 🤙 thanks for watching
The tostada con jamon, cafe y zumo de naranja moments really take me back. A beautiful video of a beautiful journey.
YES! 🙌 thank you
Matt Zefi, caminando por la hermosa Galicia. Gracias.
Where do you place the EcoFlow Delta in your Wrangler for over-landing? I'm suspecting in the left rear passenger foot well. That's where I'm considering to put my 100A LiFePo4 battery with case.
It lives on top of my rear cargo shelf in the trunk actually! If that’s hard to picture I actually showed it in my jeep tour vid. It’s been great in that spot!
Thanks for the DIY info here, Matt. It's been well over a year now since you installed your panels and I'm wondering if any detached over time.
Thanks for watching!! One rear corner did come off a little but I redid straps after sanding a little more and it was good. The rest haven’t moved at all.
Thanks for watching!! One rear corner did come off a little but I redid straps after sanding a little more and it was good. The rest haven’t moved at all.
How are you liking the fridge? Does it fit in the cargo area with the rear seat still up?
It's been great for the price! Nit picky about the color and would prefer it be black, I know that might sounds silly. And yes it clears it when the seat is up - I have that seat up most of the time.
@@mattzefi thanks for the follow up. I’m looking at them.

Nicely done 👍🏞️
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you for the update! One main question... How did you secure the refrigerator slide to plywood platform? Did you use nut zerts inbedded into the plywood?
Thanks for watching! On one side I used the pre-existing screws/holes for the cargo tie downs. And then yes nut rivets on the other side
Okay, thank you!
This video is amazing! I’m doing the Spain route in August, and these shots are honestly beautiful! I’m curious to know what drone you used, I’m looking into buying one but I don’t know what the regulations are like bringing one abroad, does it have to be a certain weight. Thank you so much, just subscribed! Can’t wait to see more of your adventures
Thanks so much! I used a DJI mini 3 pro, it’s under the regulatory weight limit, so it’s really easy to travel with. I actually talked about all of my camera gear I brought along in my packing list video before this! Thanks for watching, buen Camino!
@@mattzefi ahh amazing thank you so much I’ll give that a watch, that’s super helpful thank you! I hired out a dji mini 4 pro a few weeks ago to see how I felt about it so I’ll definitely look into this drone too! Thank you so much Matt

Great review.. can you just plug a solar panel straight into the Delta 2 to charge without any other devices required.
Thanks for watching! Yes it has the charge controller built in so just need to plug in a panel and good to go.
Hey, thanks so much for sharing this. It's truly beautiful. Great video and perfect music. How many kilometres did you do a day, and how long did it take? What's the name of the route you took? Well done - an amazing achievement!
Thank you! and thanks for watching. I averaged around 30km a day only because of extra exploring and filming this video, but it's supposed to be closer to 20. Took about a week on the Camino Frances
@@mattzefi Wow, that's awesome!
