Thanks for this. I did this to my Audi A4 B8, i did clean the brush of the motor but after couple months same problem again. Needed to see the motor code, thanks.
IMPORTANT: ensure there is no graphite (brushes) stucked between commutator contacts - it will cause a short. I had this exact problem: although motor still worked, current increased to about 7amps (from, I think, 1amp nominal) and the door module started throwing various errors. In this case you can often hear a buzzing sound, because the driver (door module) is turning the motor on, then off (due to too high current) and then back on... and off... and on again... about 13 times in a row, in something like 200ms - so you get very short buzzing sound of about 60Hz.

To remove the mechanism part, first remove the screws from the white lid to be able to pry like at 4:07 then pull the mechanism part and the yelow and grey axels pop out while still being attached to the mechanism part, then all the screws from the cover of the electric motors can be removed and the motors be exposed

Most difficult after cleaning motors is to put all together back. Im tired trying to
I did that and it worked for like 6 months and the problem recurred again. Bought new ones, will se how long will they work. Cheers

i did the same as in the video but now i have the oposite problem. The door doesnt lock when i try to lock with the key.
my doors are always open :'(
Ugh, How did you get the lock out? It is still hanging to the outher lock for me. Can't get it out. I can see you passed that stage here...?
