Tabla Trio Concert

A Tabla trio concert by Pandit Ramdas Palsule, child prodigy Hemant Joshi and Ganesh Tanwade along with Milind Kulkarni on the Harmonium.
Ramdas Palsule is a very familiar name to the worshippers of Hindustani music as an intellectual Tabla Player who has carved a niche for himself at a very young age. He is recognized as very talented Tabla Player, equally popular amongst musicians as well as audiences. Ramdas is one of the most senior disciples of Tabla Maestro Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar. Being an accomplished soloist as well as a versatile accompanist, he has performed widely in all the eminent music festivals of India. Outside India, he has performed practically all over the world including countries like U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Australia, Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Gulf Countries. His Tabla accompaniment ranges from distinguished vocalists to prominent instrumentalists, from both Hindustani & Carnatic styles, and also to renowned Kathak dancers of the country.
Hemant Joshi, is a child prodigy born in Dharwad-Karnataka in 2006. He hails from a musical family , his father Sri Venugopal Joshi, Vocalist, is disciple of Late. Pt. Vasantrao Kadnekar, Goa. Hemant began his musical education at the tender age of two , when he started lessons under the tutelage of Sri. Satish Hegde, Goa. Currently, he is learning under the tutelage of Sri.Srivatsa Kowaligi (disciple of Pt.Sri.Ravindra Yavagal of Bangalore). And Pt. Ramdas Palsule Ji (Pune) ( Disciple of Talayogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar Ji ) Hemant is a child prodigy. He has more than 200 solo concerts to his credit performed at various centers of the country. Important being, and Blessed to play Jugal Bandi with Grammy Awardee, Padmavibhusan Vidwan. Vikku Vinayakram (Ghatam) & Padmavibhushana Vidwan Umaalapuram K Shivaraman (Mridanga) participated in Tala-Vadya Kacheri organized by Bhoomija Trust at Bangalore. He is a Juvenile Artist of AIR Dharwad. Hemant is the recipient of several prestigious awards and scholarships.
Ganesh Tanwade on the Tabla. Born and brought up in a small village named Arali Budruk in Osmanabad district, Maharashtra, India. He began his tabla education with Shri Avinashji Kulkarni at Sangeet Sadhana Sangeet Vidyalay, Arali Bk, thereafter he learned from Shri Balasaheb Kulkarni at Solapur while pursuing graduation and took “Traditional Talim” from Pt. Ramdasji Palsule since 2001 at Pune. He is also very fortunate to get Talim from Guru Taalyogi Padmashri Pt. Sureshji Talwalakar at his Gurukul named Taalyogi Aashram, Pune. Ganesh has a Master of Arts in music from Lalit Kalaa Kendra (Music Department), Pune University, Pune.and has received Sangeet Alankaar from Gandharva Sangget Mahavidyalaya, Pune. He is an approved artist of The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and has received numerous awards and accolades including- “an upcoming young artists award” from vidya pratishthan, baramati, maharashtra (2002-2003); “eklavya award” for a promising young artist by “state govt of maharashtra (2003); late “Ustad Inaam Ali khan Saheb award” by respected Pandit. Aravindji Mulgaonkar for the excellent performance in m.a. tabla (2003); late “Pandit. Manohar Betavatkar award” for “promising young artist” (2004).
Milind Kulkarni's, natural flair for Harmonium reflects the eternal essence of Hindustani Classical Music as handed down in the true "Guru Shishya Parampara". Milind's tryst with Harmonium bloomed at the tender age of seven. Milind's father, an avid Music lover, recognized the inborn talent of young Milind & opened the world of music at the age of 7th. Pt. Vasantrao Gurav of Sangli was the first formal Guru who introduced Milind to the 'Seven Swara'. Discovering the potential of Milind, Pt. Anna Diwan of Sangli further enriched Milind's talents. Today Milind is under the fine tutelage of Pt. Pramod Marathe, leading Harmonium player & Principal at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune.Over a period of time, under the gentle guidance of his Teachers & his own efforts - dedication & rigorous 'Riyaaz '-intense hours of practice - this fine art is flowering to reach a state of exceptional caliber. Milind is today a reputed accompanist and fast emerging as a soloist
