Sugar, garlic, hot chilies, and sesame oil give this refreshing summer salad a nice kick. And it's impossible to screw up. #munchies #shorts www.vice.com/en/article/mgkjq...
It "can" handle that much (sweet cucumber is rad) but yeah I recommend wayyyy less. The sugar also has a function though. It draws out a lot of moisture and tenderizes it, salt would do the same thing, but sugar is tastier/healthier in such quantities. Also, varying up the dressings, soy-honey-ginger is also great.
Stopp already talking about sugar... these days CZcamsrs are doing it intensionally to fetch more comments and likes on them. Put in one mistake and bang... sht load of comments.
I'm guessing this is Korean inspired. Korean use more sugar than you'd expect. I don't like most korean food it's usually way too sweet. I love some of it but yeah, the sugar content in their food rivals any other.
I've never seen the salad just say vinegar it's supposed to be black vinegar which is much more mild than regular vinegar and that is a ton of sugar oh my God
Oh my, that's a lot of salt.
*sugar
That was “a tiny bit of sugar” 😑
Substitute the sugar with a teaspoon of low glycemic Agave syrup for a healthier alternative.

Was that "tiny" bit salt, or sugar? Either way?
Instructions unclear, kitchen is on fire 😭

@Mrs. Riki All good! I enjoyed our little banter & your quick wit! You made me smile & laugh & was much needed, more than you know. ☺️
I screwed it up
Get a bottle of sweet chili sauce and forget about all the prep.
There's nothing tiny about that amount of sugar.
i'll skip all that just add lime, thai dried chili peppers and fish sauce. toss and eat!.. it'll beat that recipe by the long run hahaha
That looks like really good food to go along with beer and drinks
Learning who to make things happen fast and great tasting to.
This is still just as good without that much salt or any sugar. Add honey or agave instead.
stop putting sugar in salads jesus christ
This aint even salad bro, this a whole ass dessert
Why can’t you just mash it ? 😂
That amount of salt already gave me a stroke

Throw down some bacon and you got me.
Are you korean
Add small cubed watermelon, quality fish sauce and a sprinkling of chopped cilantro 😉
It definitely could use more, might as well just do some variety of asian cucumber salad
Sounds mid as fuck
Cucumber is disgusting 🤮
