It makes me sad that they got Supermarket Sweep and Shop 'til You Drop on PAX TV, but not Debt. Those three would've dominated the ratings back in 2000!
If Debt ever gets revived, then take that show to ABC Primetime, but notice, these days, any ABC Primetime now that last 60 minutes, the host is seen in 1 suit one half-hour and has a different suit and has a completely different audience in the 2nd half. Something the WWTBAM didn't have any of.
I've been watching a lot of these reruns lately and can't help but notice how many comments David made that today would be considered unacceptable. In this one he says the woman should hire someone else to clean up after her 2 male roommates if they win the prize. In another, there is a pregnant contestant and she is jumping up and down and he says calm down, we don't want to lose a baby on aisle 6. In another, 2 female contestestants get really excited and hug David after they win the sweep and he says something like maybe if they win the $5,000, they will both kiss me.

I think the coffee grinding issue probably severed the relationship of those sisters for life....or is an annual Christmas dinner argument. Annd also, the sardine clue was bullshit.Everyone else gets like Cap'n Crunch and Mr. Clean.
man I don't if it was acceptable to say degrading jokes on game shows but this is like the 3rd offensive joke I've heard since rewatching these episodes. The joke I was referring to before David read the 1st clue to team 3. "I guess with the $5000, you can tell the guys to clean up the house for once." Was he referring to women are housekeepers by default lol?
