- Kobe Bryant rage at Jeremy Lin for not giving him the last shot.
37 Sec remaining, Lakers holds the last possession, Jeremy Lin requests Byron Scott for 2 for 1 play and Lin decide to let Jordon Hill takes the pick and pop jumper, which I think it's a smart move!...well, Kobe seems not too happy with this arrangement! What do you think?
memphis coach at the end smiling hahah " they didnt give kobe the ball???"
I think he was confused why Randolph shot the ball when he should've held on to it and waited to get fouled
+Yuan Shen no Randolph should've taken that shot he is our best scorer
John Smith if Randolph is the best shooter then that play was perfect and Kobe has even less reason to react.
The only reason I coudl think of was that the player who took the shot was significantly worse than the other players at 3PT.
Wtf are you talking bout. Randolph was not on the same team as Kobe in this game. Also he can't shoot threes.
there 2 randholph on the court
I think a lot of people here are forgetting....
The lakers needed 3 points to tie the game. Jordan Hill took a 2-pointer.
It's a lot easier to take the three and tie the game, rather than make a 2 and let the other team waste time, and get a hasty shot with 4 seconds left
Patric Lee lol you clearly dont know basketball, its called a 2 for 1, but kobe should have taken the shot
pingKING94 2 for 1 in this case means that you must make both shots
pingKING94 if you're going 2 for 1 you have to go quicker and get a better shot than that
Patric Lee All of you are right. 3 Pointer, 2 for one. Both strategies are fine, but I think J Lin could have made a better decision on the play.
Patric Lee do you even understand basketball? In any situation, even if it's not a 2 for 1 lets say there's less than 24 seconds left on the clock down by 3, you still don't have to force up a 3. There is a much higher probability of getting an easy 2, then fouling, or in this case, going for the defensive stop, then having the ability to win the game with another 2 pointer down by 1
Hill should pass to Kobe.
Why just rage at Lin?
+陳宗翰 No one should have passed to Kobe, Kobe sucks.
+Oktay Kacmaz Jordan Hill on wide open long twos in 2014 - 55%. Kobe on contested long twos in 2014 - 28%. How are you going to say that Lin just did what he wanted when clearly he did what he thought was best to win. Kobe was the selfish one doing what he wanted instead of what would help the team. Sorry, but Asians don't understand entitlement.
陳宗翰 Should have gave it to Kobe off the inbound so he could prevent stupid shit from happening
Jeremy Lin not even want to guard grizzlies pg, he should guard him and try to steal his ball
1:17 "I told you every time that's my shot"
It honest to God looks like he said that
to be honest Lin made the right pass to Hill who's open. I dont know what Kobe is expecting
This is why Jeremy Lin got benched...Kobe & BS evil management
+Mercury Galaxii if hes gonna make stupid decisions like that then he deserves to be benched.... when you need to win and you got kobe on your team, you pass to kobe.
+Conjah lol stand motionless in the corner waiting for the ball so he can throw up fadeaway prayer of a 3
+Conjah Maybe Kobe of 2002-2011, but not the Kobe of late. Lin the made the right play…Hill's mid-range was 50% and they should have gotten the ball back for final possession. The Lakers were just bad and continue to be bad until Kobe finally gives it up and gets out of the way. Other teams in rebuilding mode are doing much better and with a much smaller payroll. Just look at Portland, Indiana, Boston, Detroit, Phoenix, Utah, & Denver. The Lakers need to dump Jim Buss, Scott, & move Kobe into a Vince Carter-like role and stop giving him a max contract.
+Conjah how about this ~October 28, 2015Lou Williams Discusses His Last Second Shot!!!!!!!!!!!
what do you say?
why is every asian on youtube defending this idiot lol
After watching this a few times, you can definitely tell that lebron traveled
dafuq nigga?

lakers is under the control of kobe. That is why many NBA players didn't want to play with Kobe in a team.
5 Rings for Kobe Bryant. What about Lin?
who would you rather take that shot then? Hill or Kobe? yeah, that's what i thought.
haha when everytime he throw a clutch brick why dont he just flash his 5 rings and yell to the rim "how dare you brick me? how many rings you got?"
+Mr.Calculus/TheUnBiasedDude it's not about the rings.. no one wants to play with kobe because he is a horrible leader, j lin may not have any rings but he is an amazing leader... and think about it who has kobe made better when they were on the Lakers... lin was scoring major points in Houston and then his stats drop because of the Lakers.
AnJ B
You only been watching the NBA since 2011. He made Pau Gasol into a winner. In 08, Kobe put a Gold Medal in Gasol's locker room motivating him that he's a winner as well. After that summer, Kobe and Gasol won two straight NBA finals and Kobe won two straight NBA finals MVP. NEVER EVER compare Jeremy Lin to Kobe Bryant. Kobe has one of the most lucrative careers in NBA history. Lin is just an average player. No All Star Apperances, No All NBA Teams, No RIngs, No Finals MVP, No MVP, etc. Yeah...
Hill was wide open and taking a two has a better chance going in than a 3. Besides Kobe didnt even make an effort to get the ball from Lin. If Hill made that shot, Kobe would had still bitch about not getting the possession anyways.
That was a deep ass two tho, might as well take one step back and take the 3. All in all bad play by Jordan Hill mostly
And you wonder why no LEGIT Star wants in on LaL while Kobe is at the helm
+Not Me he demand too much....
+Shue Lo Michael Jordan did the same thing
Ive never liked kobe. his retirement did not phase me one bit
smiling hahah " they didnt give kobe the ball???"
What is the name of that song at last?
Kobe has no right to be mad at anyone, his ballhogging antique is detrimental to the entire team. Who the hell tells the media that his teammate should play more "relentlessly" or "mark his own territory" but then gets angry when his teammate does exactly that?
As a Raptors fan I agree. Kobe is killing his team, he never took his many shot per game since 05-06 season. People forgot Lakers went 32-28 without Kobe through 04-07 with Lamar Odom leading the way. And Kobe is shooting 39 percent from the field.
Lin has no right to choose who to pass to. Just give the damn ball to Kobe, and he is the only Laker being able to tie the game!
Haolin Chen youre being sarcastic right?
It's pretty obvious that Kobe is just trying to lead the league in scoring, regardless of how it effects the team morale and his efficiency levels.
Haolin Chen You do know that he was setting up the play, but Hill screwed it up by shooting prematurely right?
If Kobe wanted the ball he should have made a move out of the corner. Jeremy made a good pass. Jordin Hill was the problem. Jeremy should have told Kobe to Shut the fuck up!
Douche Bag Maybe the play was to Kobe to stay in the corner, have Lin and Hill run the Pick N' Roll, Lin drives to the lane (As he usually does) chop outside to Kobe and open 3 for him.. Or once Lin gets the pick He could post-up and call for the ball which is he's bread and butter.. Instead he runs this useless Pick N' Pop play for Hill who was cold from mid that night..
Illusive ZerO048 damn you rekt everybody in this comment section
Illusive ZerO048 kobe would of missed the shot anyway via airball. jordan hill had a better chance scoring 2 times and playing defence
SuperTDSmith Dude.. Its fucking KOBE! If I was Lin I'd rather take Kobe in a difficult shot than a cold mid ranged Hill..
***** Ever heard of the term "demanding the ball"? Obviously he didn't at all because Allen was guarding him tight. Hill should have set the screen to free up Kobe, Lin passes it to him, and have him ISO. Simple as that. Also, Tony Allen is an outstanding perimeter defender. But he doesn't have the best defensive awareness in the NBA.
"I'm Michael Jackson you're Tito!"
what's the song? please
Song at the end?
What does rebound hill means?
Jordan hill you know z Bo be collecting them Zebounds what are you doing
kobe is my idol but SHAME ON HIM! i respect sportsmanship than winning
Misleading title.
Damn it Jeremy! I told you to do my homework!!!!
If the season goes accordingly to KOBE, the team will be shooting 35% FG and play furious defense all 48 minutes. Does KOBE not know that he takes half of the teams shots. Remember there's not defense for shooting 35% FG. He needs to trust his team of this season will end up with 20 wins if they only plays against EAST.
Trust in Lin he is after all asian, 2 for 1 is greater then 1 for 1.
1:01 song name please ?
I was at this game and I brought my brother who is a laker fan. All the Lakers fans were pissed Hill took this shot. All the Grizz fans were elated.
Now if that was Lebron "oh he's an asshole he's selfish."
Actually was a good play, Hill was open and he's been knocking down that shot that range all season.
Kobe doesn't look like he's mad at Lin.
There was a reason Jordan hill was wide open. The grizzlies fully expected that ball to go to kobe in a two for one who wouldn't.
bro Kobe is great but man did he really shut his team down and he honestly destroyed the chemistry of the group and you can tell he effected Lin's confidence all around as a player and he had a lot of potential.
@1:16 "That's my shot, you don't know what the f*ck you're doing, pass me the ball" -
WHATS THAT SONG AFTER ZBO GOT THE GAME WINNING SHOT
KING BLIZZ its a remix of the Space Jam theme song
KING BLIZZ Aqua -barbie girl
?
2 for 1 isn't a bad play. There is a 14 second shotclock difference, thats plenty of time to pressure up on D and make the second shot. and the spacing he created for hill was decent, but too bad hill sucks. he could've passed it to Kobe but in a normal team setting where all your players are around the same level that is the correct play.
Even though Lin could’ve hit that tying shot he should of given it to Kobe on the wing so he wouldn’t cry about it.
Your fault since you didn't pass me the ball.
lol look at that facial expression by the coach at 1:04! What was he thinking at that time?
LOOK. Even though Kobe should have the last shot, it was still a better execution. There was 37 secs on the clock and a full shot clock. Either way this is not the last shot. Its better to get a quick one so the team can have 2 chances instead of one to tie it. The best shot to take here would be a simple drive to the basket for an AND1. I personally dont think thats what either of them were thinking about, but either way the ball should've went to kobe - or at least he shouldve drove in for the AND1 if he wasn't going to pass to kobe
Lin always messes things up in 2K
Hill bricked the hell out of that shot
u kno kobe was thinking "u niggaz didnt beat me, u beat my team mates"
They "needed" a three fast so they could put the game on OT status forcing Memphis to either OT or going for another baskett which would give Lakers ANOTHER good possession (8~9 second probably) before the game ended, Kobe was at the corner requesting ball, if Hill shot for 3 and failed, I'd get it, I'd still give Kobe the ball because first he's much better and second, he's not a center, but I'd kinda get it, that was just stupid.
hahahahahaaa Kobes like WHY YU DO DIS????
Kobe got to keep these bench warmers on check
Pass to hill
Set screen for Kobe
Hill hand off to Kobe.
I think it was Jordan hill's thought
Kobe wanted to slap the cowboy shit outta Lin😂😂
kobe was RIGHT! Like he said numerous times, he wants to make his teammates better! Lin made a bad choice and kobe told him so.
but Dota
+rene rio Fuck you. You don't know what you're talking about
yo kobe, get yourself some bananas, chill out.
Me on 2k when I pass the ball and the cpu jack up some dumb shit early in the shot clock.
While Kobe may have his point, he literally just walked ... he didn't make any effort to go in to rebound if Hill misses.
not gonna lie, lin shoulda passes it to kobe for the clutch 3
pass it? where? if he passed it to kobe it would have been intercepted.
what? no it wouldn't, kobe was pretty open
kobe you want to be jordan but you will never will..you will always be under him..
I don't think you understand basketball.
It's not Jeremy's fault it's Jordan hills fault for taking that shot
He passed the ball to Jordan Hill
lin did very well
Jermey could have given a good pass to Kobe, instead just ignored him and gave the ball to Hill.
Lmfao, face at 1:02, priceless.
Kobe had a right to get mad to Lin and Hill. He is a STAR veteran, he knows a lot how basketball works. The play was suppose to milk the clock and give to a guy who can shoot 3s. Lin is inconsistent, Hill can't shoot 3s. There was no one in the Laker roster who had the guts to shoot a game tying 3 pointer
I don't think he's raging at Jeremy Lin. 😕
I am so glad Jordan Hill, Jeremy Lin, and Wesley Johnson are gone from the Lakers
and he quit lakers .. the end
honestly im not a big fanatic of this sport but i love watching the lakers because im from l.a
but i know something about team work, and i know that kobe isn't putting effort into that part. kobe should be a better person since he's the oldest. he should teach them in a good way. this dude goes off on everybody talking bad like he runs it. but honestly kobe bryant is wrong. he should just be a military commander
Kobrick doing what he does best!
Thanks Lin ^_^
i honestly think that lin passes to the guy just for ball circulation. he may not have confident on Kobe since he is going to take another tough shot.
the stupid one, is the guy who shoot it immediately.
Kobe is the biggest letdown in Lakers history, as much as I don't like them I feel sorry for the rest of the team especially Jeremy Lin, he's talented, just a little too humble. I would love to see him take his talent somewhere else and be more aggressive
hill was too early with that jumpshot there was still time...
No wonder JLin changes teams every other year. What a dumb decision.
If you think it's hard to play with kobe, try looking up some footages of mario charmers being yelled at by lebron James and bosh.
Why Kobe hating him? Isn't he name after a Japanese city.
+j90530934597 i thought he was named after some Japanese food called kobe or some restaurant
bangsbangz Yup, he was named after a steak. But Kobe is also a city in Japan.
Jordan Hill taking the last shot is LUDICROUS unless no-one else is open. It's not that he has no ability to shoot the midrange faceup, it's just that the last shot should be made if possible by a seasoned shooter/scorer/game closer----which is NOT Hill. I think Kobe is correct, especially since there was still time to get a better shot.
So thats why they score so much points cause they just give the ball to the same guy, never understand basketball not a team effort game
What the hell are you even saying?
Curtis I What the fuck are you even saying? This was a late game situation, or clutch situation if you wanna call it that.. And the go to guy on the Lakers in clutch moments is Kobe.
Go Warriors
jeremy should have listened to kobe
what makes jeremy lin different from anybody else? if it were almost any other player in that situation, kobe would have also be on their ass. there is nothing personal towards lin
That play got me pissed. Kobe's hot in the 4th and he doesn't touch it at all?
And wtf r Lin n hill doing??!
Jeremy Lin is stupid because hill can't shoot for his life
PandaGaming9 got sonned! Or so Mo claims, I don't know if that's really true.
why do people make fun of lin for graduating from harvrd? i dont get it ...
At the time lin was trying so desperatley to get in to uni for basketball .. every university
rejected him and he was left with harvard.. becasue they were the only univeristy that would take him
it wasn;t his first pick to go to harvard.. it was his last..
So many of you all whining about Kobe standing in the corner. Number one, who said anything about Kobe wanting the ball. He is a 2 Guard, of course he stands in the corner because that is where 2 guards typically go in that setup. J Lin had the ball in his hands, he motion for him calm down and take his time and instead he runs a quick pick and gives it up to Jordan Hill, not necessary the best of plays.
it's not lins fault, its hills fault. he was suppose to hold the ball until kobe or lin rotated back to the back court and reset the play for the final shot. rage on hill not lin.
Kobe is GOAT
Lmao everybody in the free world knows that you give it to Kobe and nobody else in LA
Kobe does stuff wrong al the time but whe don't see Jeremy getting mad
Down by 3 and you go for a jump shot? Not a three? Plenty of time
Lin passed it to the best player on the team, don't know why Kobe complaining
Lin is gone and the Lakers still suck. Try and explain that LA douchebags.
THANK U OMG YES
Lin is trash
+MrAVGNdude hes a top five 6th man this year, get outta here brah
They are awful this year and Kobe was still playing. SMH.
+George lose Da Hood! Ya We're In Da Hoods Now~ :D he didn't even win!! WTF! Lin is not a team changer, he's a scoring combo guard. Do you know how easy it is to find scoring guards with no defense and high TO ratio??
It's not like Lin shot it, the blame should be on Hill who shot it when he didn't need to
Lin sized up his defender and tried to drive when Kobe told him to take it slow to milk the clock. He could have jut dribbled at the top for time to run down
+Joe Ng yeah but he kicked it out and Hill could of held it or dribbled instead of shooting
only guilty person here is hill
or you could get mad at the guy that actually took the shot.... it's not like Lin made hill shoot
I'll take a WIDE open mid range shot by any NBA CALIBER PLAYER over spending more valuable time to get a contested Kobe shot any day. good pass. How much of a ball hog do you have to be to get mad at another player on your team for taking a WIDE OPEN SHOT?
or he could get mad at Lin because he had no business giving the ball to a guy who had no business shooting the ball.
Stupid comment
Coco Buff That makes no sense, there was plenty of time on the clock, he didn’t even have to shoot
I really don't know why Lin tried to rush for a 2pointer I actually agree on Kobes call to slow the play and kill the clock as well.
It's a 2 for 1 situation, and before that possession, Kobe had just failed to hit the 3 while he was forcing the shot. Lin as the floor general did the good job finding open man
+JJCS670 You guys have no idea what you're talking about. A 2 for 1 situation means that the Lakers would've gotten two possessions over the opponent's one. Lin made a great decision for rushing a play, especially since Jordan Hill had a good FG percentage with jumpers.
, it's called going two for one , if the lakers shoot before the 24 sec mark then Memphis can't waste the entire clock out and the lakers get another shot
+JJCS670 then your foolish.....it leaves too much time open for grizzlies to get a game winner!
+JJCS670 Yall acting like Lin shot the ball
Jeremy made the right choice... Its a 2 in one possession... Its just hill has a bad night... But again if kobe is 10 of 26, then expect a disappointing loss...
MrPogz Zamora it don’t matter shit u let Kobe shoot
Unknown Scar hi lol
you sound stupid, you go to the best player live or die...let Kobe make the choice, thats like letting ZaZa take the last shot over KD, Curry, Thompson, etc...
Coach called the play "elbow," so Kobe could get the ball using Lin as a screen. Jeremy thought the coach yelled "go," so he hurried past the half court, made a play that resulted in a wide open shot for Hill (which was a shot Hill has shown he can make). In Kobe's own words, "it was just misunderstanding...but I mean we still got a good look..." That rebound at the end tho, Lakers got get that one. There were 3 Lakers underneath the rim and Randolph ended up getting it? SMH.
ChannelLtoN It was all Hill.. I mean being cold from mid THAT NIGHT ONLY was bad enough, he tried it in a clutch situation where obviously you're go to guy is Kobe? And in the other end he didn't get the rebound. smh too.
Kobe = High School graduate
Lin = Harvard graduate
enough sayin'
But we talkin bout basketball
+TheMousekeyZzRhere theres something called basketball IQ
Kobey's net worth 320 mill
Lin's net worth 15 mill
just sayin'
Wolf Man Lyken
Lin's net worth after retire 15 mil
Kobe's net worth after retire -320 mil
Doubt it, Kobe owns shares in sports drinks, body amour, owns his own company, and will most likely be a paid guest at various venues for the rest of his life.
Kobe always wants the last shot and when he misses, people don't get angry
Lolesio Teofilo I mean he could have made that shot and sent them into OT
LOl lin is a idiot he shouldve gave him it even the coach was like , ''lol they didnt give kobe the ball?''
charla if Lin gave it to Kobe and Kobe missed what are you going to say , all Lin was doing was sharing the ball
Lolesio Teofilo they needed a 3p and he passed it to someone for a 2 instead of passing it to someone who is clutch from 3p in the final minutes of a game
charla basketball is based on probability and Kobe can't be hitting all the shots ,who knows ,he could have hit the shot, but he could have missed it as well. just saying Kobe should not be raging because his not the only one on the team
Maybe Kobe should make a run off a screen and get open...
He wanted to run down the clock you idiot, Lin is the pointguard he should understand this
Joseph Jay with 37 seconds left down 3?
lol running out the clock would be bad
This isn't golden state idiot
Agreed, if Kobe wanted to get the last shot he should've tried I dunno...calling for the ball? He just stood in the corner like a role player, then didn't even attempt for a potential offensive rebound. I usually like Kobe in these situations but here he did nothing and then complained that he didn't get the result he wanted.
It was 37 sec left, so Lin chose to play 2+1. That was totally OK.
That's why they lost. Idiot
i dont know if you want to go for a long two from your center. maybe from kobe.
"That's why they lost. Idiot" Hill shouldn't have taken that shot, idiot.
Well well well looks like Jeremy Lin got the last laugh cuz he is now an NBA champion
ChrisS82 The raptors probably benched him for most of the time because they remember the day when Jeremy hit the game winner on them
kobe has fucking 5 what are you saying last laugh
How is that getting the last laugh? He was practically the very last guy you’d see come off the bench in garbage time.
Cause Linsanity proved all the haters wrong. He got his ring. Melo didn't. Kobe Bryant getting made fueled this man ti prove him wrong.
@@TombstoneChris You gotta have down syndrome.
I think kobe was raging at hill, not jeremy, for shooting that. They were gonna set a play they were using the whole game where Kobe stays in the right wing, while lin drives up to the side of the top of the key near kobe and hill is on the left side of lin. One Lin is there, he hands it off to hill and they execute the play when lin sets a pick for kobe at the right wing and kobe gets the ball and he either shoots a three if he's open or runs ISO and does some post up fadeaway shit lol... Either way I'm sure kobe would have made the shot... Jordan hill just HAD to rush the shot. There were like 15+ seconds left on the shot clock and he was off from mid range the whole game. Idk what he was thinking, just because ur open it don't mean shit when u kno ur cold from that range. Fuckin hill...
at jeremy
at jeremy obviously.
not to mention he didnt rebound -_- that was atrocious
David Chou no he doesn't lol....
Actually Kobe did get pissed at Lin. I didn't see the last part of this video
Jeremy Lin took that chewing like a man too.
sure did
If Kobe can choose shooting decision better , lakers did not behind Memphis Grizzlies.
You need some "English Teaching"..... Good fucking lord.....
Basketball Teaching So, if I can translate 'that' to real English, is this how your sentence would sound like?: If Kobe can improve his shot selection, the Lakers wouldn't be losing to the Memphis Grizzlies.
issa5021 I think ist more like
" If it's kobe, he can make better decision. The lakers are not that far behind in terms of point"
trust me, I've heard enough broken english
i think he meant "if kobe knows and can make better shot selections then Lakers wouldnt be losing in first place"
