These two turquoise blue lakes are the most famous lakes of the Canadian Rockies and because they are so close to each other you can experience both of them in one day. Wow! The color of the lake and creek water is insane. Do you know what makes it those colors? I mean the lakes were bright green-blue, but milky and the creek was definitely milky. I wonder why? I hope Vince did feel better and that you were both able to enjoy the trip and all there is to see in that area.
Yes, it's rock flour particles that fall into the lake from the glaciers above, which turns the lake that turquoise color. It's so pretty! Yes, thankfully Vince was back to normal the next morning! Whew! Back to normal in our next video 😉

That’s so interesting re: why the waters are colored as they are. I’m looking forward to seeing and Vince, both, back out exploring. Im really glad a day in bed healed and refueled him.
