Just got this Baby over in Germany, glad that we got Blackstone now over here🔥
Todd, Thank you for the hard work in the snow. Always appreciated.
Todd just bought my second Blackstone. The first was the 28inch adventure ready for my RV but found it really wasn't as portable as i wanted so with the addition of the 22 inch with stand and top my wife bought it for me for Father's Day (2024). I brought the other home. I looked up this video to use to season and just loved the addition of the burrito. The first use will be July 4th weekend on the lake (2024). Thanks for a great idea to do with the first season.
Oh no !! I just bought the adventure ready ? Any tips ? It looks like it folds up easy
@@hollowknight1737 Sorry about the delay in answering we were on the lake camping. The first adventure ready we bought was the 28" for our RV but found it really wasn't very portable so we bought the new 22" with stand and hood which is more portable. I can move it and break it down by my self so it really depends on which one you bought. The 28 just came home and will be used here.
GREAT video Todd, and a complete lesson on the griddle. Very well sequenced and the breakfast burrito, the perfect first cook and more. Doc Blackstone does it again.
Thank you so much for continuing to watch & leave such encouraging comments. Have a great weekend!
Just got my griddle yesterday. Omg I’m so excited to start cooking on it!

🇺🇸🦅 🥩
Just got my 22” table top as a retirement gift from fellow employees, will get it seasoned and cook some bacon on it this weekend. I’m SO excited to take this along when we camp and travel! I use cast iron a lot, so this griddle will be well taken care of
how do you like it?
@@gosman949 I love it! It cleans up very easily, and pretty much nothing sticks to it unless you overcook! We have used it a handful of times, and I’m looking forward to next spring/summer so I can dig it out again! I don’t cook outside in the winter, too much snow and tooo cold.
Your the Man Todd 💪😍 great video!
Thanks for the recap Todd! Always great information and guidance! Cheers to you and the family!
Fresh tortillas thats next level Todd ! Looked a little chilly out there sir . Keep them videos coming never get tired of watching. Griddle More Tour 2023 any news ?

Thanks for showing me how to use the blackstone.
Another great seasoning video Todd, as well as general griddle care.
Sadly, we are almost 2000 miles apart, so I won't be over for breakfast. 😞 - But, these burritos look awesome. - Cheers!
That's great way to breaking in a new griddle Todd,. A perfect breakfast with a well seasoned griddle.

Thanks for watching, Rick! I hope you have a great weekend!
damm that looks good!!
Thanks now I’m hungry
Just bought the 22 inch for the jobsite cookouts every weekend
Always enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much m!! I am grateful!!
Thanks. 👏👏👏👏👏
I wish Blackstone made a oven for their stoves. I currently use a gas BBQ with a tall cover and place a cast iron griddle on it. The cast iron distributes the heat evenly and of course the lid has a thermometer on it. It all works, just not as good as I would like. It is also heavy. I think Blackstone should consider an attached hinged hood for the new stove/griddle you aired a week or two ago produced for Walmart.
Yummy
“Cold crazy weather”(20 degrees)-as I sit in the upper Peninsula of Michigan laughing at the thought.
Love your video. I'm curious if you should leave the lid up when making baked potatoes. I heard mixed reviews. Thanks!
Looks good. Now I am hungry. Lol.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just picked up one of these 22" griddles for $150 at Hy-Vee in Iowa.
So many don’t understand how important it is to season correctly 💖thanks Todd for the recap 🥰
Thank you, Kelly! I sure do appreciate all the times you've watched and commented on the videos and livestreams. I hope you have a great weekend!
Thinking of getting one of these units...definitely an outside unit because of propane. Do you know roughly how much cooking time you get from a 1 pound propane cyclinder? Thanks.
Todd thanks for the video. But what type of table would you recommend for the 22’ when camping?
Thats a whole new way of being told by mom, "Why are you heating the outside"..........lol
Great video but I definitely recommend flour tortillas from H‑E‑B 😅 got to love Texas maybe one day Colorado will get H‑E‑B 😊
Todd, I really want the dual fuel (charcoal grill) but the reviews have been a little lackluster, could you do a video on the dual fuel? I plan on purchasing it just as soon as we get out of this rainy season.
Please review the hot new Blackstone griddle selling at Lowes!
Question for y’all. I took my blackstone top off to deep clean the base the other day. The base/stand has some decent rust because of humidity. But the underside of my coldroll was super rusted. The top is fine because of cooking, seasoning, and cleaning, but the bottom is rusted. Is this normal? Do I need to do anything for it?
I'd rather be cooking where you are than here in the Phoenix area in the summer lol.
Please add the heat settings you recommend for the various cooking parts.
Question 36" griddle I have one 4" section on the left side that always rust. Sanded, wire brush, but it always comes back. Then reseison 4x times, 2-hour pross. Live in WPB FL about 20-miles from the ocean. I made a steel cover, grill is keep in my 25x30 ft carport in the center near the shop wall, so it never gets rained on. Any suggestions.
My 17-inch I have no problems with rust.
Thanks
Yum!!! Love breakfast burritos, those look great! Praise the Lord and pass the burritos 🌯 😃🥓🍳🥓🍳🌯
Thanks, Nae!!!
how many coats did you do? I did 4 on my 22. I love cooking on it
Pueblo Chili's Rock & I prefer them over Hatch (which are almost as good)! ~ LoL
This might sound like a dumb question… but I’ve got this griddle and actually returned the first one due to a slight slop to the front. The new one I’ve got does the same thing. They are unseasoned and haven’t been exposed to heat.
Just got my griddle. I use Pueblo green chili as well. I get mine from Milberger farms, good stuff
👍🏼
How often should I use the seasoning conditioner?
Help. Got mine for Christmas 2023. Trying to season it today 3/13/24.
I have tried 3 one pound gas cylinders. All 3 frost up just a few minutes after lightning the grill. I have it on the slant as directed. Can I please get ideas on why this is happening.
I want to use a 20 tank but do not have the line to do so. Where can I get the hose as was spoken about in this video. Thanks in advance.
Also I have never heated up tortillas. Do you just brown one side?
Hiii!!! How soon after seasoning my new grill can I cook on it? Also, do the metal cooking utensils harm the grill after using over and over?
Immediately, just like in his video........
I always season the sides of the grill inside and out
I watched this video with great interest and after you finished the burrito's you said to go to your link for your recipes and instructions, problem is, you talk so fast no one can understand what you are saying as for your link? Maybe you could say it slowly and not saying it without even taking a breath! Better yet, display your link on the page, that would be best. Thank you for the instructions and by the way, why don't you include a "Recipe List" below your video for anything you cook and a "Instruction List" so we can copy and paste in into a document to keep?
Thanks again and hopefully you will consider these suggestions.
John
does it heat up a folding table being on top ?
Hi Todd - season the sides of the griddle?
So you can cook food to eat immediately after seasoning the griddle a few times?
Absolutely!
Where do they sell the extended hose for bigger tanks?
Just opened up mine and started tryin to season.. I feel like the 4 little pegs on the bottom of the griddle plate are too big. The flame size seems fine but the gap between the fire and the plate is too far. My griddle wouldn’t season and get dark on 90 percent of the surface. It was kinda hot only Any thoughts?
So you don't turn down the heat during each addition layers?
I seasoned mine today, I am a chef and a somewhat intelligent person, but I think I screwed it up, I will say it was about 20 degrees and I didn’t get a great smoke on each layer, basically mine doesn’t look like yours, should I put a brick to it and try again. Thank you, love your channel
And I said right before I did it “I got this, I don’t need to watch a 5th time” should have watched a 5th time
What Kind Of Oil Do You Use When Cooking 🙏
What's difference between these with a cover and blackstone 22 inch with a hood
I'm considering buying this product but I have a fee questions first : what material is the cooking surface made from? Is it cast iron? I only use cast iron for cooking so it's a deal breaker to me.
Also, should the walls and exterior of the cooking surface be seasoned too?
Thank you!
It is cast iron but you can buy a stainless one, I have both.
What kind of oil do you use?
Where did you get that Bear?
