This looks like an awesome product. Does this come with software? If I record and I want to have tracks and look at the tracks all together, does this have included software or is that something I have to get outside of this.?
How can I record my guitar on channel 1-2-3-4? I have no mix board, so I would like to use the direct input A or B. Since the Zoom H8 is unable to use the effects during the Audio Interface mode, I have to use the Music App as a multi guitar recorder. But the only A/B channels are not enough.

The apps are quite in affective. I purchased the blue tooth card which only connected on time for about 10 seconds . There very few videos on this device....can you point me to some more educational videos ie how to use your Iphone as the video recorder and the H8 as the audio? Is this even possible?
I would like to record the live gig (2 guitars, two mikes) with H8. How would I transfer the signal to PA if all my instruments and mikes are plugged into H8? Thank you
It took me a while to understand how it works.. The guitar lab icon is only used to add new effects from the pc app. If you want to use the effects you have to go to the music icon and from there . I'm still trying to get to make the effects work while in audio interface mode but I guess it's just not possible.
It depends on what you consider a "quality album" if you were playing a live show and had a great sound guy you could probably get a pretty decent live album if you're solo acoustic or duo . You could do a stripped down acoustic album and if you could work the over dubbing you may get a pretty solid indie acoustic album put together with just tge capsule. But it wouldn't sound like a polished studio album more than likely without a ton of mixing and mastering. But that may not be the type of quality you're going g for anyways

Clear the track assignments and then assign them to whichever tracks you want.

I did this by using line out, directly to a mixer, where the PAs were connected. I mixed everything in H8.
Can I add fx to music tracks after recording and if so, how do i do this...I have tried and no success. Many Thanks Davy

You would be able to have audio assigned or recorded to a track in the Music App, and play that back while recording to additional tracks.

Yes you can record with the just the XY microphone.

You would be able to record multiple input sources at one time with the H8.
Can you use the exh8 on the h6?
The EXH-8 would not be compatible with the H6.

The H8 does have a metronome in the Music app.

Th H8 is not compatible with MPC devices.
