Thanks for putting this story together. The point, in the end, isn't about whether Brady is the GOAT or not, but about what he accomplished in his career against all odds. I'm fascinated by the fact that he accomplished what he did in spite of virtually EVERYONE else's expectations in the beginning.

Think back, it seems Brady and some of the Patriots were pissed that Belichick benched Butler for that debacle against Philly, which Brady threw for a record 505 yards. Belichick then wanted Garoppolo but he was traded. Belichick, with his ego, decided not to give Brady any new weapons' and Brady still won a SB. Brady had had enough of Belichicks ego and moved on. Belichick thought he could win with anybody and Brady was too old. Well since then Brady won a SB and took TB to 3 playoffs in a row. Belichick hasn't won a playoff game since Brady left.
No matter what anybody says, there will never be a player greater than Tom Brady to ever step foot in the NFL for as long as everybody in this comment section lives. It is nearly physically impossible to amount to what Brady has. Mahomes could do it but I really don’t believe that he can sustain greatness into his 40s like Brady did.. How sure are you about that? Mahomes clearly surpass some stats records of brady, he accomplished something that Brady did not it’s just happen that Brady has 7 rings. Even football legends and analyst says that Brady isn’t that sharp like Mahomes when it comes on movement, eye focus and making plays, they even said that Mahomes is the greatest quarterback that has set foot in the league. So we will see. If Brady can do it in his 40’s what makes you think Mahomes can’t?

Mahomes will drop off much quicker than Brady ever did for one reason…Mahomes biggest strength as a QB is his legs and ability to scramble and get away from danger and as he gets older those skills will diminish. Brady’s greatest asset was his IQ and being able to play chess on the field better than his opponents which only got better with age.

Brady had guts and stayed in the pocket, while Mahomes runs around like a chicken with his head cut off. Brady won 3 SB before losing a playoff game when QB's got leveled. Old Brady beat stud Mahomes constantly when it counted. With the money QB's make I highly doubt they will play after age 35.
