  • Howdy ya’ll. Today we’re going to look at the lost castle of Königsberg in the former capital city of the same name in East Prussia. This beautiful capital city, formerly known as Königsberg, was handed over to the Soviet Union and renamed Kaliningrad after The Second World War.
The History of Königsberg, the city, is directly related to the castle, and can be traced back to 1255 and The Baltic Crusades. Today we will view the oldest and most detailed photographs of this historic and lost German castle, while briefly diving into the currently accepted history.
The majority of the Königsberg Castle, and surrounding city, was destroyed during WW2, before being rebuilt under new leadership. If you enjoyed today’s video please like, share, and subscribe to the channel, and I look forward to our discussion in the comments down below.

I was so happy to see this video on my favorite channel about the city I lived 23 years of my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This city was a pearl of Eastern Prussia prior the 2d World War. In 1990th I attended to the exhibition, where old pictures of Konigsberg were performed by Germans who still kept the images of their beloved town. I was crying after I saw that all the beauty and old civilization got lost!!! The city was bombed by British Airforce in 1944, and the castle and the Center of Koenig were destroyed. Its still gorgeous in its own way but never the same compare to the images on old pictures and cards. The civilization and technology were gone... we still can't figure out how all the engineering system was working at old times.

Back in Germany (Lower Saxony) I knew a few people who were from Königsberg and surroundings and had to flee from the Russians. They had to leave behind their homes and most of their belongings, going on a long treck western to save their lives, some with horse wagons, some on foot 😔

@@caobitayes, Russians gave Germans 24 hours to get ready. Ppl had to hide their valuable possessions in the house gardens, basements etc. The households were left as is with food and everything needed for life.

Great video, Konigburg was one of the biggest cultural losses for mankind, a true tragedy. One point.... the Amber room was actually made of amber, not gold... you should do a video on it... that was another massive loss, it was spectacular!

For a no-good reason. Globalists against white accomplishment. Back in late 1800's they already said Germany must be destroyed because Germans were against Marxism taking over Europe.

It started out an old Prussian fort known as Tuwangste after conquering the area in 1255 the Teutonic Knights reenforced and added on to between 16th an 18th the castle was constructed, it was the residence for the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order and later residence for Prussian rulers … the history as it was written was very conflated and hard to piece together 🤷🏻‍♀️
