EastEnders star Danny Dyer has been spotted filming a scene in Bristol city centre for an upcoming show for Disney+. Queen Square was partially blocked off on today (June 28) and transformed into Russet Street, a fictitious road in London, for a new series called Rivals.
Rivals is an adaptation produced by Happy Prince of a 1988 Jilly Cooper novel of the same name starring a stellar cast, including David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Katherine Parkinson, Lisa McGrillis, Alex Hassell, Emily Atack and Danny Dyer. The plot is set in the fictional English county of Rutshire following a rivalry between Rupert Campbell-Black (Hassell) and Lord Tony Baddingham (Tennant) in the world of television.
