The tragic death of Princess Diana 26 years ago impacted people globally. The princess was just 36 years old when she died following a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997, and it also killed her companion Dodi Fayed, and the driver of the vehicle.
The car had crashed into the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in the French capital, and in the aftermath of the crash, emergency service raced to the scene - and these events are set to be revisited in series six of Netflix's The Crown, out November 16.
One of the people who tried to save Princess Diana was firefighter Xavier Gourmelon, who when he first saw Diana, had no idea who she was - and he assumed that she wasn't seriously injured as her eyes were open, and she was conscious.

La princesse Diana etait la princesse de tout le monde, comme l'est la princesse Kate aujourd'hui, mais avec Williams en plus, alors que Diana etait seule

Her last words. God what happened? Princess Diana knew shes going to die in a arranged car crash. But nobody took notice as they proteçt the high and mighty. So young and too soon! We said rest in peace princess Diana. They can laugh as much as they want but God is still the only fair judge. And they all will burn in hell! Love and remember you allways!!!🌹🌹🌹🤴🤴🤴🌹🌹🌹
