@@Crmjewelers :)
wow...!!!!
I’ve been in the industry for a decade and let me just say, this type of craftsmanship is not only rare it takes a lot of skill, dedication and experience. It’s definitely undervalued and like most other expertises in Jewelery, underpaid... bench jewelers rarely hear a compliment for their hard work.
Thank you for sharing that my friend. We try to show our great appreciation and respect for this type of work with our videos. 🙇
More than that, he’s actually forging it out too, good job!
@@josephmccann2642 100% that of and in itself is rare.
Yea it’s a shame they don’t make more pay.
I know atleast ten jewellers plus myself that could easily make this in Australia. I guess where you are at source gets the incredible tradespeople
Everyone here is (rightly) going ga-ga over the ring craftsmanship, and here I am low-key impressed by the fact that your got your camera exposure set just right to stay properly lit and not blow out on the torch shots.
Much respect.
Ha, thanks man. Yeah, the camera work, editing, and everything else is also an art.
Wow. Amazing. You're a craftsman of the highest order, sir. Well done.
Beauties in the eye of the beholder
The fact that it looks ‘doable’ tells me that he is a master. When someone does something extremely hard and makes it look easy... then you know they’re good
Exactly 😉
He’s no better than me and I don’t call myself a master. I’m always learning and always looking to improve.
Send me your videos making rings. I'm dying to see them. 👍
@@Crmjewelers ok I will see what I can do.
Yaaaay 👏👏👏
I hope you give these videos to the ring owners. They should see all the effort that goes into their piece. Nice to see it done without lost wax casting.
ABSOLUTELY BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!!! YOUR ARTISTRY AND TALENT IS BEYOND WORDS!! MAGNIFICENT!! 👏👏❤️❤️
Absolutely stunning ☝️
I loved watching my grandfather do this.
This man deserves boss music in the background of his videos. A true artist!
Imagine having that type of talent, absolutely incredible
It takes many, many years to get here Jason.
More practice and honing skills than talent.
It takes skills as well. Many jewelers have decades of experience and they still suck.
@@Crmjewelers - I’m sure... But that’s not you. 💗
@@Crmjewelers
Was that white gold or platinum you were working with?
Should've shown the finished product in much more detail, a little longer.
You are right , if you want to see the finish ring go to Intagram@gastonjewelrymiami and you will see pictures of the ring from all angles even a short video of the ring , Thank You
Fascinating to watch such a highly skilled jeweler. That mounting is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you Kay. I really appreciate your feedback. Gaston is really passionate about his creations.
I’ve been making jewelry for a little over 2 decades and just now made the jump to learning to silversmith. My dad was an excellent silversmith, and I hope he gets back into it now that he is retired. I can’t wait to learn from him! These videos are so inspiring... the talent is uncanny! I hope I get to graduate to gold soon♥️ thank you for sharing, this piece is stunning!
what do you mean by silversmith? are you making forks, spoons, candle holders, serving trays etc. or are you making your own jewelry out of silver stock? i have been very interested in starting to wax carve spoons maybe a napkin ring of some sort. i just ask because the graduating to gold confused me, ive been a jeweler for about five years now and have worked on all sorts of metals from silver to platinum and gold and they all have difficulties for sure but platinum i find is a tough sumbitch.
Hi jeweler . I have retired after 40 years a goldsmith . I had a colleague who was actually a competitor . He was a trained silversmith from London . He did some beautiful repouse on a gold leaf that was part of a Fabrigee inspired obect of art . Beautifuly fluted leaf . We worked in Vancouver Canada so a big city . He could not make a living doing many wonderful things he did in Britain for the likes of Big money foreigners . He has had to rely on doing the usual contemporary jewelry as people would not pay for the time and effort needed for his expertise in repose . Just a friendly message you could get your father's take on this thought .
What beauty! Not only the ring but the skill of the jeweler. What a God given talent
The most amazing thing is he was able to make that beautiful ring in only 9 minutes and 54 seconds! Impressive!
With edit in ALL video..
Who's gonna tell him...
@@j_ferdous3894 that this is a joke...
Well thats god tier skill
Exactly. He didn't make the gold.
Que hermoso anillo y su capacidad como joyero habla por sí sola. Jamás me volveré a quejar del precio de las joyas. ¡Bien hecho Maestro!
What craftsmanship! Extraordinary!
Thank you! 🙇
i wish i had half of the tools you have. at the same time, i appreciate that you make such amazing work wiuth so basic tools, as I will not be getting up lazer welders and such any time soon. thank you for your amazing video, i learned alot.
I have been a jeweler over 25 years and done many millions in repairs and custom work. Never had a single job over 180,000.00 so kudos. Very skilled .
Thank you my friend.
Absolutely beautiful, the craftsmanship is impeccable. I feel so blessed to be able to see the process.
Thank you so much Jacqueline.
A work of art!
I'm envious of the recipient of this stunning ring. 😉💕
I wonder which celebrities this ring went to. How beautiful this piece is . I had no idea so much work, sweat , and love it took to make an engagement ring . Now I will appreciate mine more when it arrives. Just amazing
there are tons of very rich people that are not celebrities, so maybe one of them.
When Gaston was squeezing the claws on the centre stone, I was clenching my teeth. What a roller coaster 🎢 ride, watching the craftsmanship.
LOL, I know. That part gets me all the time. 😅
@@Crmjewelers : I'll bet that you are always doing that part of the job after 15:00 hours, as well. Remember when Joseph ASSCHER cleaved the Cullinan, he fainted, chisel in ✋ hand!!
Gorgeous
Thank you very much!
Very good job🥰
Thank you!
Oh my. This is awesome 👏 bravo 👏
Thank you so much Eliut.
The ring is exquisite! I’m a huge fan of “step cut” diamonds. Once again, I am left speechless by this man’s work. Incredible talent!👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much for watching.
Just a Beautiful piece! 👏👏👏
Thank you Taylor.
@@Crmjewelers Your totally welcome! 👍👍
What a work of art
Thanks man. Really appreciate it!
The people who make these things seem to be so much more interesting and valuable than the people who wear them. Yet, we only seem to talk about the people who wear them.
Thank You Catherine for your kind words
Definitely agree with you Catherine.
@@Crmjewelers This kinda puts down your actual customer base, lol. Although the craftsmanship of the creator that is presented here is absolutely stunning and commands a total respect, it is the will and the capacity of another human to recognise the value of the object, and the ability to exchange a part of their own personal value for it, that ultimately creates the market, a part of which you happen to be.
Hey Alexey. Do you mean that we're turning off watch enthusiasts because we're featuring non watch related content?
@@Crmjewelers No. I mean, that in a way you put down your entire customer base by agreeing with a comment, stating that by definition creators are seemingly more interesting and valuable than the consumers, with the latter being your actual customers.
This is a one sided observation, probably with the intention of virtue signaling. I believe it is important to recognize the symbiotic nature between providers and consumers, and also that those roles do shift according to circumstances.
I didn't realise how much work went to make a ring. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Thank you for watching. 😉
Beautiful craftsmanship. Labor of love in each piece

What a perfect setting to show off those diamonds! Amazing talent!
Thank you very much.
Beautiful work!
I love this ring, the detail and design is incredible.
BRAVO! Absolutely stunning and unbelievable craftsmanship. Anyone who is not a master jeweler like this and believes they could accomplish something like this easily, is simply fooling themselves and would likely go broke from having to start over again and again and again.
Thank you Tom. Truer words have never been spoken. 🙇
How do you think people become a "Master Jeweler" this guy probably has made loads of mistakes but has perfected his craft... telling someone not to believe in themselves is pretty degrading
@@CZcamsMod I don't think he's telling people not to believe in themselves, just trying to dispel the myth that this work is easy. There are people that come here saying it is and that they can do it, but they never provide the proof because this kind of ring making is art as well as work.
@@CZcamsMod I didn’t degrade anyone. If you’ve read the comments on this video, you’d see that some posts claim they could accomplish this easily and most likely don’t even know what tools they’d need to even get started. That’s degrading. Look at it like this, most people who’ve taken jewelry making seriously, likely wouldn’t ever make a comment like that because they know how hard it is to achieve what you just saw created.
This gave me shivers, goosebumps, laughs of delight, smiles and awe all at the same time ...beautiful workmanship, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Will. I'm glad that the video did all that for you. 😉

@@Crmjewelers 💗
Master piece!
Thank you!
I am a dental technician and I fully understand the very high level of craftsmanship required for this flawless realization. A jewel like this does not deserve a simple lost wax casting. Standing ovation!
Thank You Giancarlo
What makes casting a less desirable metal shaping method?
@@breakingthemasks for me the fact that a handmade creation gives an added value to the object. I also model by hand, I do not use preforms and I think it is a work of greater value. Of course, if you create the shape by hand in wax and then use the lost wax technique, the work is equally "valuable". in summary I do not appreciate the wax preforms usable by anyone. 🤷♂️
P.s. sorry for my English
@@MrJanka64 ... I think I understand. The "by hand" aspect allows for a more precise fit perhaps?
But the actual creation of the metal peice can use any method, so long as it accurately follows the handmade precision fit.
👍
Thanks
@@breakingthemasks Not exactly. the "handmade" adds greater prestige given by the further manual skill of the performer. Those who "shape" by hand certainly have more skills than those who use a preform (and takes more time to make)
