    Thanks for showing the less glamorous side of things, Kolby. These videos make me think of your podcast - "Be careful who you listen to."
    I think anyone watching this can see you're the real deal. These are my favorite videos to watch.
    Do you think you could give a recap after these cold calls? Of course we can't listen in, but if you'd run through your strategy of how you approach people, the etiquette you observe in these offices, and what your opening lines/ways of introducing yourself are?
    I'm in B2B but it's all over the phone for cold calling.

    Thanks for being practical! This is great. So many times in corporate America, all you see is the shine and glamorous lifestyle. So with that being said, thank you for demonstrating reality in your vlogs.

    I absolutely love your content. Currently studying a business management degree at university with hopes to be a med sales rep when I graduate. Thanks for keeping me motivated ! 🙏

    These vlogs are great. Thanks for giving us a glimpse at the structure of a normal day. I've always wondered what med reps do, day in day out.

    How did you break into medical sales? Did you have prior sales experience?

    Thanks for the video! Quick question:
    On a day with no meetings/prentations/surgeries, how many total cold-calls, phone calls, and follow-up calls would you do? Around 30?

    • @cole.s1442
      @cole.s1442 Před 3 lety +1

      Also, how do you keep track of all your calls and follow ups? Do you use a CRM like Salesforce???

    • @KolbyWoodMedicalSales
      @KolbyWoodMedicalSales  Před 3 lety +1

      I track my stuff in an excel spreadsheet that I built. Number of calls just depends on the day and how much prep-work for upcoming cases I have to get done. The most in-person cold calls I've done in a day is prob 15, but haven't tracked exact numbers on emails/phone calls/etc.

    If you're not selling the best product on the market how can you endorse it so heavily while knowing that it wont be the best thing for a patients health?

    • @KolbyWoodMedicalSales

      The quality of a product or service is subjective. The FDA is in charge to make sure that any product a med sales rep is selling doesn't truly jeopardize the health of a pt. If the product is approved, then a governing body has determined it's safe and effective.

    These videos are awesome. I am a recent college grad, and am about to enter an accelerated nursing program, however, I feel I am more interested in the business side of the medical world. do you have any advice on trying to get an entry level position? Unfortunately, I have no sales experience.

      My podcast is prob the best place for that. I have a number of episodes on getting hire. Just make as many connections as you can in the industry with ppl who could hire you.
