  • Many times in medical sales, particularly with capital equipment, it can be hard to make a strong clinical case as to why your product is better. That's not to say there aren't capital products that don't have a strong clinical argument, but in many areas of the business, the difference is minimal.
The objective is then to put together a value proposition that, while it includes the clinical component, highlights the aspects of your product that makes the staff lives' easier or the most financial sense.
In this video, I outline some of the things to think about and the reality that many clinical decisions are being influenced by people who don't have a strong understanding of the clinical advantages of one product over another.

Thank you for another awesome video! Wish I knew these tips a couple of months ago when I had a job interview for (I believe) your old employer. I was also wondering if you could take a look at a possible glitch in the Complete Sales Program? Can't seem to complete three of the quizes (won't load them). Thanks again, and looking forward to the next one!

Hey sorry, not a glitch. Still completing that program. Recorded 4 videos this week which I’ll be uploading. Just takes time for me to get them done.

Who drives these purchases? Obviously I would think that you would have clinicians that are interested in the new system but is it the kind of thing where hospitals kind of expect to replace these kind of systems every couple years?
