Omg. I finally found someone who’s actually using a calligraphy pen, I just got a set and every single tutorial I find is only using normal pens and I can’t find any using calligraphy pens. Thank you!
You're so welcome!
A very good tutorial, I have finally found a video that has a really good teacher, and someone that actually uses a proper calligraphy pen, thank you so much for this 😊😊😊
Nice beginner tutorial. Thank you 💝
This video is worth watching again and again and while doing the drills. Thanks for a good video.
Thanks for the video! 🤩
This is the closest I've seen on how I learned calligraphy 41 years ago in high school.
I love your tutorials
Thanks! Super!
Anda akan menjadi tutor terbaik bagi semua orang,,keep writing
this is so helpful🥰
What a great video 👍🏽 tyfs 🙏🏽 *SUBSCRIBED* ☺️❤️
Yay! Thank you!
Thanks for a good video.
Perfect
Hi there, I enjoyed the video.
In the same way that you did the cross bar of the 'T' to give it the correct width before adding the down stroke it's also a good idea to do the down strokes of the 'H' and 'N' at the correct width and then connect them so they aren't too wide or narrow.
Looking forward to viewing more.
So cool.. Thank you x
You are welcome!
Thank you for ur video
Excellent 👍🏻
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. You are awesome 😊😊
Yea right
I’ve been watching lots of videos on writing yeh last few days. This is my first on your channel. I think I like this style most. I don’t write cursive and I’m most comfortable with broad pens and fountain pens. Will watch more from your channel to learn about this style.
Thank you 🙏
Btw, May I suggest to tone down the music a little. Can’t mute coz I won’t hear your instruction.
I’ll try this style with my broad nib fountain pen
Well done
Thank you!
Verry good 👍🔥
Salam sehat sukses dan bahagia selalu sahabatku 🙏👍🔥
Super

Same here too
where did you get the pen you are using from please? I suffer with RSI and that looks like an ergonomic type design
Am I the only one who noticed the Capital E missing? Lol So beautiful tho!
Good vidio, i like it

My gothic style is not that great, need a lot more practice :P
Very good. Thanks
You are welcome!
Teacher Vivian
I have speed ball c nibs and how to use them?
My great grandfather knew how to write italic and am trying to carry the tradition
very beautiful, have you ever made calligraphy on coated recycled paper
No I have not :)
Is the appearance of one letter always the same regardless of the letter that follows it? Or does its own font change according to the alphabet before and after?
Good question
How to clean the ink dirt in moblique holder. Thanks in advance
You can wash it with soap and water, the important thing is that you dry them completely after cleaning to prevent rusting!
Please share about where you got your guide sheet. Is it meant for 2mm?
I make my own guide sheet, you can check it out in this video czcams.com/video/ujnFZSGHeU4/video.html
Nice explanation............
But it's not the 45 or 30 degree angle for the thinnest lines....it's somewhere around 60 / 70 degrees slant that most of the calligraphers prefer for Italic
I love Uncial.
Good video and well explained. Just need to put the 'm' before the 'n'. :)
obviously, you had the sound off.
Lol it doesnt matter which goes 1st. She can start the alphabet backwards and her point or the point of this video woukd still be the same. She's just showing us how to write every letter leaving it to us to do what we want with these. You can make a poster, a letter, or a poem at the end they will all have the same font or letter shapes and style. And the n being before or after wouldn't change a thing on my spelling lol
She clearly states she is purposefully doing the n before m to show that the m is formed by combining 2 n’s. So if you can do n you can do m.
@@VivianUang some people have ears but they can’t listen it’s kinda sad if you ask me
😅
How can or where can i get that calligraphy pen and what it is called? Is it in 1 set or i have to buy it separate?
The supply list is in the description 👆
I can't find it. I type that and it gives me other type of bibs. Is on Amazon or what website?
I cant do The Letter g at 5:53 It really Hard dont Understand And help me 🙏
What is your pen name
Great skill of calligraphic writing, my question is" must I use a specific or special pen like yours to learn the calligraphic handwriting??
Yes, for Italic hand you'd need a broad edge calligraphy pen.
☆☆☆☆☆
Thanks to God
Excellent, may God bless you
Thank you!
Can regular Acrylic / water paint can be used
I've tried. It doesn't work. Acrylic is too thick by itself, and watering it down makes it lose a lot of it's opacity and color. Can also ruin your pen too if you don't clean it soon enough. I learned the hard way lol.
what’s the difference in origin of Fomata form and Corsiva form?
well, those are two very broad and vague terms. Formata and Corsiva are the Italian words for Form and Cursive. And to talk about the difference can easily turn into a book... :D
Should I be practicing with markers before I even go and get the supplies. Will markers work properly to learn??
I am not sure what type of marker you are talking about, but I have another video explaining the different calligraphy pens you can check it out: czcams.com/video/hg4H8pRupnc/video.html
Can you say which calligraphy pen are you using in this video
Supply links are in the description.
Idk if my eyes are playing tricks on me but are only the lower case letters suppose to be slanted.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
That index finger, hurts to look at how tight it is! My issue is ink flow, which is perfect with pointer pens, but way too generous with broad tips. Any tips?
lol, my mom said the same thing about my finger, but it's just how my finger bent naturally.
Regarding the ink flow issue, here are things you can try:
1. Prop up your writing surface so you are writing on a slight slope/angle
2. Try a different ink
3. add gum arabic to your ink to adjust the viscosity
I hope these help!
This is a K I C K - A S S Video ! ! !
Where is capital E?
How tall should letters Be?
How many width of a nib?
That is explained in the guide sheet video: czcams.com/video/ujnFZSGHeU4/video.html
Which pen did you use for italic callography
Mam, name of the pen you used.
Please read the video description.
What pen it is?
You can find the tools used in the video desciption.
Wait... that is a lot harder for left-handed people. Nonetheless, great tutorial :)!
❤
bro where's uppercase E?
Can you use sumi ink?
Yes, the benefit of using a nib pen is that you can try out different ink. You might need to add some water to dilute it a little so it flows better, I found sumi ink a little too thick. Just make sure you wash the nib afterward. Check out this video for more explanation czcams.com/video/ujnFZSGHeU4/video.html
Teacher Vivian
Pen name please
It's in the video description 👆
Forgot the large E
It's like the F, except you add the bottom line to the same length as the top line. E
-hi there-
In the alphabet M comes before N. You have wrote the N before the M.
She did it on purpose
I not have a handwriting book
No capital E
you mised the E
In Italy that writing is not called "italic" (italico?) but "corsivo" and it's not common.
@@lucaschiantodipepe2015 però il corsivo vero e proprio è diverso secondo me
o Video fica tao cansativo com musica, por favor tire a musica, please !!!!!!! Malu
Very nice, but the background noise is very annoying.

You write jklnmop😅
And I explained why I did that in the video. You probably didn’t have have sound on.
@@VivianUang oh maybe

L N M O P????????????? Isn’t that L M N O P? 😅
You didn't even write in italics
Where did you get the pen?
Very nice, but the background noise is really annoying.
