- This episode I give you an up-close look at my favorite piece of equipment, my Massimo T-Boss 550 UTV side-by-side. I tell you why I bought it and why I love it so much. I'll show you all the extras it comes with, and some more that I've added. So I hope you find this informative and interesting. And for those considering buying a side-by-side, this should help you identify things to look for and add-ons available, as well as provide a brand (Massimo Motor Co | www.massimomotor.com/SIDE-X-S...) to consider. Enjoy!
Don't miss the latest (2yr) review of this machine. ( • 80-Massimo T-Boss 550 ... )

Well I did it! picked up my tboss 550 from Tractor Supply Co. this past Friday and man do I love it! we put 23 miles on it over the weekend and it was cold outside! I got the new 10" touchscreen version which is pretty sweet I might add.
The GPS is really cool and we will use it for exploring the dirt roads all around us this summer. I've already added flood/spot lights on the front bush bar, even though the high beams work quite well.
There is a function on the touchscreen for music, and when using your cell phone to connect to the side by side, and connecting the bluetooth speaker to the phone, it allows you to control the play/pause, next/previous track, but it does not work on adjusting the sound even though there are up/down volume buttons on the touchscreen. Some things we will work on trying to figure out down the road.
I love the USB plugs for charging phones, and the 12v auxiliary port which we may use for an e-cooler.
The ride from the factory is set on the stiffest spring perch setting, and it is a bit harsh. I ordered a set of spanner wrenches off amazon to adjust the perches so we will see if I can dial it back a bit to make it a tad smoother on rougher terrain. (let me know if you experienced the same here)
all in all, I couldn't be happier, it looks beefy, has plenty of power, sounds cool, and is a blast to use working on the property.
Cheers!
Wow! That's fantastic! So happy for you, and glad you are loving it.
One of my viewers said he lowered his tire pressure to 10lbs and said that smoothed out the ride a bit. Maybe try that while you're waiting for Amazon.
Thanks so much for sharing. And thanks for watching my channel. 👍
I'm going to buy this one if I can find it. I like it and your video has helped show me some added clarity. Thanks
Glad you found it helpful. I've had mine for over 3yrs and am still loving it. Hope you find what you're looking for and enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.
Also, if you haven't seen it already, I have a whole playlist just for this UTV.
czcams.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html&si=-VjYoTNVQaiiWBQW
And my website has lots of helpful materials for this UTV. ( https //twc-projects.net )
Thanks for watching and subscribing if you haven't already. Have a fantastic day.
Beware! Don’t get stuck holding the bag! I have a top of the line 1100cc. Was great until I needed parts and when I called Massimo I was told mine was discontinued and sorry no parts available. I sold and got Kawasaki! Too expensive to run into these kind of problems
Thank you for sharing this post.My husband & I just bought one & so excited to get it in a few weeks.(special ordered color) We have a small horse ranch & I needed something to help me with their stalls & around the grounds. Had a Challenger we bought but it didn't have the dump box that I need. Disappointed we couldn't test drive one first cause they were all on a showroom floor. So Thank you for sharing the does & don't that we can do with TBoss!! God Bless
That's awesome! So excited for you. That'll be perfect working around the ranch, etc. You're gonna love it. Keep me posted.
Thanks so much for sharing and for watching my channel. Have a great day.
PS: If you haven't seen it already, I just did a 2yr review of the T-Boss and spent more time explaining how things worked on it. czcams.com/video/F0ye5FMRftY/video.html
Thanks for posting this video. I own a 2020 Bennche T-Boss 550 and after a little over a year, I still love it! I added pretty much all of the things you did with a few extras. Turns out that these are very compatible with Polaris when it comes to accesories. My only regret is not going with the 750 for the power steering. That would come in handy while in 4WD. The 550 has plenty of power and has handled everything I've asked of it so far. It seems like it's the UTV nobody has heard of but compared to some of the other big name brands some of my friends and family members own, it's far superior for it's class. Keep enloying and challenging it!
Awesome! Yes, I agree that no one seems to have heard of these, and they do seem superior in their class. I also thought the same about going with the 750 when I was up in the mountains, but not because of power steering, because of the steep climbs. My Massimo came with power steering and it does make life easy, even with front and rear diffs locked. And good to know about Polaris accessories being somewhat compatible.
Thanks for your comments and for watching. Keep enjoying your Bennche..
Thank you, I might buy one.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I Just bought one. I love mine so far.
Congratulations! I've had mine over 3yrs now and still love it. Have had at least a dozen people tell me they've bought one after watching these videos. So glad these videos help people find what they are looking for.
Thanks for watching, and happy riding in your new side X side. 😀
I'm ready to buy one at Tractor Supply. On top of everything else, if you get a Tractor Supply Credit card you get 3 years at 3.99% interest to pay it off. For a comparably equipped name brand UTV I'd be coming in with $5000 down and still owe $15,000 at 7.9% interest or more.
That's great! Sounds like a no brainer. Thanks for sharing and watching my channel. Enjoy your new Massimo and have a fantastic day.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered the Buck 450 .
Glad this helped. The Buck is a different animal, so I don't know much about it. But I think all of these UTVs are a lot of fun and very useful. I'm in mine all the time.
Thanks for your comments and for watching. And good luck with your new UTV. :)
Thanks for the video, and for the whole your project :) Its so detailed! Please tell more about cleaning, may I use electric powered washer?
This thing is built for the elements, so you certainly won't hurt it by washing it with a power washer. But the best results I've gotten is when powerwashing with a ceramic foaming wash, because it leaves all the black plastic parts inside and out looking like new. See this video to learn more. ( czcams.com/video/hYWX-N7WJrA/video.html ). Hope this helps. Thanks for your comments and for watching.
Thanks...I'm sold now
Awesome! Wished I got a kick-back/commission for ever person that has bought one of these after watching my videos.. 😀 Glad you found it helpful. And of course I have a whole playlist for this is you want to see more. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Do you happen to have the link for the LED light bar you installed?
Thank you. Harbor Freight: 22 In. Spot/Flood Combo LED Light Bar (www.harborfreight.com/22-in-spotflood-combo-led-light-bar-64320.html) They also make a 32in version now, if you want to go bigger.. :)
Thanks for watching.
We sell Massimo and have had great reviews from customers who have purchased them!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
great video. I miss the engine braking that I have on my 570 Polaris quad. the Massimo doesn't seem to have enough brake power down hills. also they advertise 54 inch width. That's true for front wheels. However the rear measures 58 1/2", tight for a 5x10 trailer. Any words of advice on brakes?
The brakes could be more powerful, but what I did when riding mountain trails was shift down to low when I knew I had a steep incline. It helps with uphill and downhill control. For 99% of what I use it for, the brakes are plenty adequate. I try to tell folks this is not designed to compete with the machines that cost 2x and are tuned for off-road abusive trail riding. This machine is great for running around your property and helping you get work done, and have a little fun while doing it.
Thanks for your support and comments. Have a great day.
Great machine, looking at one right now, can you tell me if they have hard doors as an option, because i plan to have fun with the kids going fishing and want a bit more safety.
Thanks in advance
Yes. They do make with hard doors now. They don't protect you from brush and limbs though above the waist like the net doors. I don't personally like the hastle of latching and unlatching the hard doors every time i get in and out, but to each their own. As I'm sure you'll make them wear their seat belts, there's no worries of them falling out. I've had several kids ride in mine, and they love it. Even the 3-year-olds. Good luck and enjoy. These are great machines.
I just bought one for myself for Father’s Day on Saturday. Want to add the top light bar, speakers, etc. Unfortunately the operators manual doesn’t give you a whole lot of information about how everything works
Awesome! Happy Father's day. You deserve it. :)
Bought my light bar at Harbor Freight, but you can get them at Tractor Supply, Northern Tools or even Amazon; prices vary. Can't touch and feel quality of construction from Amazon though, unless you don't mind wasting time sending it back.
Let me know if you'd like me to do a video about how to use anything in particular, or everything. That might be a popular topic.
Thanks for sharing your exciting news and for watching. Enjoy the new toy..
Hi was wondering where you bought the throttle position sensor? Also if you have a part number for it would be very helpful. That would be for my 20-22 t-boss 550. Thanks much for the help
Details should be in the Description of video I did when I repaired it -- ( czcams.com/video/BGVX7-4DqSM/video.html ). If that's not what you're looking for, check back with me. Glad these videos are helpful to you. Thanks for watching.
Thanks just purchased one might reach out to you about some upgrades, lights seat belts etc
Thanks. Glad this was helpful. See my website for links to all equipment and tools I show in my videos, as well as some manuals and other valuable reference materials. ( twc-projects.net/resources)
Thanks for your comments and for subscribing. Ted
I might have missed it, but you have a TPS in the description. Did yours quit? Thanks for the video. I brought mine home last week and love it.
Yes. My TPS failed and it took me a while to figure out what it was. Since I replaced it though, it's been back to 100%. Still love it.
I have a whole series of videos on my TBoss UTV/side-x-side: czcams.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html
Also, be sure to check out my website for helpful resources on the Massimo and other equipment. twc-projects.net.
Thanks for watching and subscribing, if you haven't already.
Curious has anybody looked for or found a bed extender trying to not buy the F version of this model I need to put 2 dog kennels in there for hunting trips ?
What did you find out about your starting
Problem?
I saw the first two episodes but never saw a third telling us what you found out after checking the check engine light code.
Still not fixed yet. Been waiting on a part for a couple weeks. I'll be sure to post another video once it's working again. If you haven't already, be sure to subscribe and ring the bell so that you get notified when new videos come out. I hope it will be next week or the week after that I have this fixed and a video out.
Thanks for your comments and for watching.
Could you please do a video on the rear and front differential engagement and when to use this ? Also the touch screen and how to use Bluetooth , etc
You can check out the 2yr review where I I think I talk more about the differential locking (czcams.com/video/F0ye5FMRftY/video.html ). But Bluetooth and LCD screen only comes on the newer models. Mine does not have that. I'm past due for a 3yr review, but just haven't gotten to it yet. Hopefully, I will get to it soon.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the thorough review! I’m interested in hearing more about the seatbelt you added. Can you point me towards where you purchased it and comment on how it works/installs? We have a 4 year old little guy and are thinking a vehicle like this would be nice if it can safely fit the 3 of us.
Sure. You can find links to all the tools and equipment I show in my videos on the Resources page of my website ( twc-projects.net/resources ). They are in alphabetical order, so scroll down near bottom to "Seatbelt (for UTV)". To install I just took nut and washer off existing seatbelt center mounts, slipped new seatbelts onto mounting posts, and reinstalled nut and washer. Have had kids from 3yrs to 25yrs in that middle seat. I recommend ordering your UTV with the optional grab-bar too so that person sitting in center has something to hold onto when on rough terrain.
Hope this all helps. Thanks for watching.
Did you do a video on changing oil, or adding coolant
I do have videos where I talk about changing oil, pointing out where, and topping off coolant. But, no videos yet of me doing it. I forgot to video 1st time I did it, but will video next time; hopefully this summer.
Thanks for your comments and for watching.
How would this model work out for plowing snow in northern Ohio, residential concrete drive?
Hey Bopper87. That's a great question. I know Massimo sell plow kits for this, and there are companies that make plows that mount onto these. There are lots of videos out there with people using UTVs to plow snow, but I don't know if there are any about the T-Boss 550 specifically. It seems capable, but you may want to consider going up to a bigger engine. If course it'll always come down to the depth and wetness of the snow, which is different every storm.
Unfortunately I just don't have any personal experience with plowing snow in my Massimo. So I can only share what I've noted above.
Thanks for watching and for your question. Wish I could have been of more help.
They have this at my local farm and fleet dealer in Wisconsin for 10500 just like yours I'm thinking this or a Honda 520 this one has so many more features that you would find on the premium models for 5k more. Do this have mounts for a plow underneath? I really don't know anyone in my local area with one, I'm kind of leaning the Honda way for reliability but as the saying goes man makes it man brakes it,
There are several plow and snowblower options available for these. I'm not sure if there are special mounts for a plow, but you can check out all the accessories here: www.massimomotor.com/ACCESSORIES/ACCESSORIESTBOSS/ACCESSORIES-TBOSS550. And there are aftermaket plows out there that would probably work. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
You might want to consider a rear bumper, otherwise it's a great looking machine 😀
Yeah. No joke. That's a good idea, as I managed to back into a tree one day when in a hurry, not paying attention and it cracked my tailgate a little. I was surprised it didn't do more damage. The thing is pretty tough. But a bumper would have prevented any damage.
Thanks for your comments and for watching.
Is there any storage under the seat ? Or room for a secondary battery next to the original battery?
No room beside battery, but there is room under driver's seat. Watch this video to see under hood and under seat.
czcams.com/video/F0ye5FMRftY/video.html
Hope that helps. I have a whole playlist of videos focused on this UTV. czcams.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html&si=koPMP2edg10hl4g8
Thanks for watching.
Hey man, where did you find the remote module for the winch?
Got it on Amazon -- smile.amazon.com/dp/B07P2G4T22/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_PV6TYG9J6T58STMPKYZH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks for watching.
Can someone please tell me more about the rear differential switch? How do I know when it's on? When to use it? Thx!
To lock your front and rear wheel drive differential you must first be in 4 wheel drive--red button pressed in. Once the red button is pressed in, you can flip the lever covering the yellow button to the right, exposing the yellow button and hiding the red. Then press in yellow button. You must be at a complete stop to engage and disengage.
Locking the differentials means that all 4 wheels are pulling at the same time, (no limited split control) and is useful when you find your wheels are all spinning, even when in 4 wheel drive. For example, in mud or when climbing rocks where only two or three wheels are touching something solid. Only use this when you absolutely need it, and at low speeds, because if you use it on normal surfaces it can damage your drive train.
Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Reread your question and just realized I may have miss interpreted what you were asking.
If you're asking about the switch in the middle console, it's for helping protect your lawn and driveway by disengaging the rear differential so the it allows wheels to roll independently, like a car. Sometimes in lose gravel you may find your traction isn't as good, so you may want to lock the rear differential. I usually just pop into 4 wheel drive when I'm slipping instead. Never really lock the rear unless in rare cases as I described in earlier response. Some side x sides don't even offer the option to unlock rear, which can prematurely wear out tires when on paved surfaces, and tare up your lawn.
Great review! What part of Virginia do you live? I'm in Highland County
Thanks for the kind words. I don't share details about where I am on public forums, for obvious reasons, but I'm roughly 2-3 hours south of you.
Thanks for your supportive comments and for watching.
Any idea where I can purchase the plastic cargo bed for the TBOSS 550 F?
Sorry. No, I don't. I'm guessing you've already tried reaching out to Massimo sales directly? I don't think they sell it separately, but they might have a suggestion. Sorry I couldn't help you with this one. But thanks for watching and for your comments.
TWC Projects, could you please show more detail about how to install that wireless remote for the winch. thank you 🇺🇲
I believe I included pics of the remote receiver wiring in one of my videos. But I'm due for a 3yr review soon, so I'll try to show more about the winch remote when I do that. Thanks for the suggestion, and for watching..
Could you link the winch controller from Amazon? I’ve got the 550 myself.
Yes. In the video I show a pic of the wires and where. I just followed the wires connected from the winch to a black box, opened it up and took pics of how the wires were terminated (what color goes where) before disconnecting the one that was from Massimo. Just needed crimp terminators onto new unit from Amazon and plug them in, referring to pictures I took, ensuring the right colors got connected to the right posts. That's it. Sorry I didn't think to make a video of that.
How fast does it go? And does it ever overheat when driving fast a lot of times? I’m interested in buying one
Top speed seems to be around 39mph, even though 45 is advertised. I don't run it fast for long periods of time, but when I took it up in the mountains it did fine. It's liquid cooled, so that helps. Only time I've over heated was pulling a load at low speed on a hot day for long periods. Not enough air movement to help the radiator do its job.
Does this model come with power steering? Thanks!
Yes. Pretty easy to turn even when all four wheels engaged. The power brakes require a little bit of pressure, so would be a lot of work to stop if they weren't power brakes. You're stopping 1,400lbs of UTV and one average adult male, so glad it has power brakes.
We have a local dealer of these, and they service them. I too am looking at the 550 TBoss. Looks like a lot for the money. Do you still have and recommend it since the video is 2 years old? Any bewares someone today needs to know?
Yes. I still have it and still love it. I'm long overdue for a 3yr review and a full maintenance video. Been too focused on my off-grid retirement home property.
Main thing I can think of is to be sure to use a good screened funnel every time you fuel it. Of course, that's true for every small engine, especially with fuel injection.
I use this for running around my property mostly, so it's perfect for me. It's a great little work horse, letting me take tools, firewood, stone, whatever wherever I need them.
But, if you plan to do a lot of trail riding with buddies who have the bigger machines, you may be disappointed when they go up steep hills and rocks. This machine is not made for that. It's light years better than the golf cart, but certainly not a Razor. And of course, like any machinery, if you take care of it, it'll last longer than these idiots that abuse their side by sides and then say it's junk.
Hope that helps. Thanks for watching. In case you haven't subscribed yet, please do and check out my playlist "UTV/side-x-side" with lots of videos on this machine. czcams.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html&si=xXp1HL5PzkdLhshR
Sir !!! We are trying to change the oil pn ours, but what filter? We are told to use 10w 40, but the filter is hard to find. Can you help? Thankyou
Oil filter -- amzn.to/48MRwDT
I'll add this, and several other parts I've located for this machine, to my website. If you haven't already explored it, there are lots of valuable resources there -- twc-projects.net
After ruining it for a while dose the seat get hot with the engine being under the seat .?
It's liquid cooled, so I expect that helps. But I can only remember one or two times, in the heat of the summer, it feeling noticeably hot after running it a while. Most of the time I just run short hops, so haven't found that to be an issue.
Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Can you share the Amazon link for the wireless remote? Thank you!
I get this question so much I've now put a link in the Description of this video. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and good luck with your UTV upgrades.
Where did you get your lightbar from?
I've added it to the Description of this video now, with a link. Sorry I didn't create a video of how-to install it, but it's pretty basic wiring. You do need to connect it directly to the battery though, as it draws some power. Wiring kit has relay, tiggle switch and fuse; everything you need. Hope that helps.
Thanks for watching.
Where did you get the rear view mirror?
Here's direct link to Amazon ( amzn.to/3TemL3p ). For future reference, know that I share links to most all tools and products from my videos on my website resources page ( twc-projects.net/resources ), and when you use my Amazon Store ( twc-projects.net/amazon-store ), it helps my channel. Thanks for watching.
How wide is this will it fit in the back of A full size pickup truck??
No. Definitely won't fit in a pickup bed. It's 60 inches wide, almost 7ft high, over 8.5fts long, and 1,100+ lbs. It's pretty big.
How fast will it top out at
Supposed to hit 45mph, but I haven't had a place to open it all the way yet. Had it up to 35, but ran out of space. Wouldn't want to go faster than that on anything but smooth road, and I didn't buy it for the road. However, I just put registration plates and insurance on it, so may try opening up on the paved road soon. Will let you know if I actually get it to 45.
Do you get a lot of heat off the motor?
It is liquid cooled, so that helps, but of course if you run it for long periods of time on a hot day you will feel the heat when you stop moving. Hasn't really been an issue for me though.
Thanks for your comments and for watching.
I may have missed it but who makes the motor
I believe Linhai (big Chinese compamy) manufactures all of it, but several resellers rebrand it, including Massimo and Bannche; probably others too. Hope that helps.
Does the windshield completely come off
Yes. Windshield comes off with a few bolts, but I'm not sure why you'd want to take it off except to replace it if broken. It has 3 different positions: closed, open slightly (~1.5"), and wide open (~3"). These are perfect for letting or limited airflow while blocking too much wind, bugs, branches, etc. And on cooler days, it seals closed quite well.
Hope that helps. Thanks for your comments and for watching.
Thank you for posting this very informative video. I'm considering of buying the massimo T boss 550 but I want to make sure that I can have it street legal. Please provide me the process of the necessary procedure to apply through DMV for registration and have a license plate so I can drive it around public street near my hunting area in Martinsville. Thanks
It is based on your specific locality--state and county. In Virginia, where I live, some counties allow it, and some don't. So you'll need to check for your area. Some DMV websites are better than others, so you may need to call or email them to find out. Sorry I can't be of more help than that, but every area seems to be different.
Hello can you please get a massimo buck 250?
Wouldn't that be nice if I had that kind of influence where I could just call up Massimo and say "hey, send me some equipment to demo for my CZcams friends" and they'd say "will do; it's on the way"... :) Maybe if you can help me gain 5 or 10K subscribers, then they would care about me. The unfortunate truth is I'm now having trouble just getting them on the phone for support. Hoping it's just that the guy who was helping me has just been on vaca for the past couple weeks, because I can't get anybody else in tech support to return my calls.
Anyway, thanks for the smile, and thanks for watching. I really appreciate it.
I live in va too
Did I here you say we could ride these on roads in state
In some counties, yes. You need to title and register it with the DMV, and insure it. E.g., Where I am it's registered as a "low-speed" vehicle, and may only be driven on roads posted with 35mph speed limit or lower by a licensed driver. No state inspection required. Check with DMV and your county.
@@twc-projects thank you I’m in southwestern part
Great channel btw
Still on the fence about this machine tho
How hard is it to hook up a plow
That's a great question. I know Massimo sell plow kits for this, and there are companies that make plows that mount onto these. There are lots of videos out there with people using UTVs to plow snow, but I don't know if there are any about the T-Boss 550 specifically. It seems capable, but you may want to consider going up to a bigger engine. If course it'll always come down to the depth and wetness of the snow, which is different every storm.
Unfortunately I just don't have any personal experience with plowing snow in my Massimo. So I can only share what I've noted above.
Thanks for watching and for your question. Wish I could have been of more help.
I just purchased me a 5 seater Mossimo
Nice! Sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing and for watching this video.
What is the brand name of the wench remote?
See twc-projects.net/amazon-store for links to this and other related parts and equipment.
Thanks for watching.
Still have this utv? Hows ot holding up?
Sure do. I love it. Only problem I had was the bad sensor I showed in videos way back. It's been a beast since and I love using it every weekend.
Thanks for your comments and for watching.
" Massimo is an American owned company in Texas which assembles the Hisun UTV in Texas, and then sells them to Tractor Supply as a supposedly made in the USA machine."
That is correct. They also sell them direct to consumers online and through dealers under the brands of Massimo and Bennche. There are many different modems. The Tractor Supply version is among the entry level models.
Thanks for your comment and for watching.
How much did it cost?
Like everything made with steel, looks like they've gone up in the past year. I don't recall exactly what I paid in 2020 for mine, but it was at least a grand less than what they are going for now. See latest prices here-- www.massimomotor.com/SIDE-X-SIDE/T-BOSS-UTV
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
How fast will it go
Not exactly sure, as I haven't had a chance or a need to do so. Supposedly it's max speed is 45mph, but I think it work require perfect conditions for that. Most I've had it to was about 35mph on a paved road for a short distance. I don't use it much for recreational, but instead as a workhorse, so it's all I need, and a little more.
Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
How is your t boss holding up
It's doing great! Still loving it. If you haven't already seen, I have a full playlist for this, including a 2yr review and a lot of the TBoss in action. ( UTV/side-x-side: czcams.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html )
Thanks for your comments and for watching.
How did you order from
Decided what I wanted from website ( www.massimomotor.com/ ), then called and spoke with sales person. They helped refine my choice based on what was in-stock and on assembly line. Then purchased with CC and a couple weeks later it showed up at my door, already to go. Added gas, pulled of protective plastic and started having fun...
Thanks
How do I contact this guy? Email??? I bought a 550 and would like links to the accessories he bought. mirror, wireless winch controller etc.. and how to install them
The light bar and trailer hitch were from Harbor Freight; the grab bar from Massimo direct; and the rest from Amazon. To find links to most of this stuff, read through my replies to previous comments on this video, and the Description has a link too. I've gotten asked by several people the same questions, so have answered in several of the replies. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
PS: you might be the 1st to have asked about the mirror, so here's the link to that. Note, you will have to drill a couple holes to make this work. It is not designed for the Massimo, so custom fitting required.

How's it holding up?
Still running great! And still loving it.
how did you get the reset after 500 Miles?
That's a good question. I haven't hit 500 miles yet, so guess I'll have to figure it out when I get there. If you find out before then, please feel free to let the rest of us know and I'll include it in a video. Thanks for watching.
@@twc-projects You take it to the shop and they use a program to adjust the ECU.
Thanks AA for answering this. I didn't even realize I'd need to do that. Didn't recall seeing anything about that in the owners manual. Thanks again for pitching in, and for watching.
Top speed?
41mph is about the best I've gotten out of it on flat pavement. Feels plenty fast enough for a utility vehicle.
Is this unit manufactured in China?
Yes, like pretty much every UTV out there are either built in China or parts sourced from there. This Massimo is actually a Linhai rebranded by a company in Texus US, (who also brand it as Bennche) where they complete the final assembly before shipping it to you.
Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
The t-boss is completely made in china.Massimo and Bennche do not build any part off this utv. It´s a Linhai T-Boss.
Thank you for your comments. As I said in the video, like all mainstream ATVs, Massimo parts are made over seas. But why I bought Massimo is beacuse they are assembled and backed by a US company in Texas. Same is true for Bennche I believe. Hope I didn't come off miss-lead, as I tried to call that out. Thanks for watching.

Hisun - massimo- coleman... All the same machine. Made in China "assembled" in Texas. Meaning they basically put the tires on them . Their customer service is terrible. Nevertheless, they are very affordable. You do get what you pay for, and they are worth the money , and a good value.
I believe they assemble a little more than the tires, but what they put together basically isn't like a manufacturer. It's mainly the accessory upgrades I believe like roof, windshield, mirrors, etc. Then they start it and run it for QC. I think there's a video out there, or photos of their assembly line that I know I've seen. And yes, you're right about the the value for the price. I don't know how much better of a machine I could have gotten for 10k more, but this is all the machine I've found I need. Only time I wished it had more was when I took it trail riding in the mountains. That was a one time thing for me though, so no regrets saving 10k I didn't have to spend.
Thanks for your comments and for watching.
Double check most of the nuts and bolts or you will have pieces start falling off
Thanks. I've heard that from other viewers as well. I purchased mine directly from Massimo in Texas in 2019. They seemed to do an excellent job assembling this machine, so I've never had a loose bolt or nut since I've owned it. I think the ones sold in TSC or other retailers are assembled by whoever is around that day, as opposed to people whose job it is all day every day.
Checking nuts and bolts as a regular practice is good advice though, for any equipment; especially equipment that gets banged around and vibrates.
Thanks for your comments and for watching. Have a fantastic day.
Definitely not McPherson struts. They are coilovers
You are correct. I intended to say "McPherson strut style coilovers", but when recording, it's often easy to miss speak or interrupt your own thought before you finish while trying to think of the next thing you want to share. I was pretty new to making videos back then and made several mistakes in that video of which I didn't realize until later. And back then, I had maybe 30 viewers. I had no idea this video would get 10s of thousands of views over the next few years.
So thanks for watching it and being concerned about my error. Have a blessed day.
I hate to be that guy, don't want to start shit but that really does not look like 12" of clearance. More like 8
Good catch. Yes, the wheels are 12", but the ground clearance is only 9.25". I also tried to say it's assembled in the US, which is true, but it is manufactured in China, where most of the parts are assembled too. Final assembly and final inspection done in TX. I hope people are checking specs for themselves over listening to a CZcams video before dropping this kind of $$. Thanks for keeping me honest though. And thanks for watching..
