- So when I bought this machine it was great and dandy. But after 2.5 years of dumping gas and stuff she started loosing power and wouldn’t idle or run hardly I wouldn’t trust it to go to the end of the drive way. So I’m this video I changed the injector and put a big time saver 30 micron fuel filter on it to try to keep my injector from clogging again.

Yeah definitely if you get a older one make sure it has it but after 21 they started putting them on it because problems with the injectors clogging
You were 100% right my injector was stopped up causing all my trouble thanks my 1st time to I done a top end new throttle body and cleaned the injector.I might trust it past the driveway now thanks

Yeah very good to know before running it I would put a really good fuel filter in it there’s enough you could double it just to save you in the long run but one will save you money over the years but the injector of Amazon is only 32 bucks still not bad

Just bought the 550 outsider used from a farmer, did the normal new Plug, new fuel filter and still hard starting and my next step was injector or carb. I am just catching up maintenance old farmer thought his help was doing for him. We have 40 acres and it will be perfect for what we need it for. Thanks
Injector will fix it right up I’m sure of it and it’s only like 23 dollars on amazon

Well I took it for a test drive. and it seemed good. Then I was showing my son with another test drive and it started to miss a bit again when giving it gas. So, back in the garage and I put the fuel filter on drained the gas and put some high test in. Still have to test it out. I have blown two f5 fuses prior to this to but I don' t think its related. That started happening after I went in some water but I haven't blown one since.

Yeah be had a lot of them on her people I made them wanna buy one but Hisun doesn’t really do anything to help me out. And I used 1/4 to 5/16 fuel filter 14 microns and called er good runs like a top noe
Something to note that everyone needs to know is mine was bogging down and driving horribly one day after aomone else drove it. Well I leave the seatbelt hooked up and man I tried everything and had to ask my son in law what to do as he works for Can Am and he said check the seatbelt and sure enough that driver seatbelt must stay buckled. ;)

Yeah I’d say a lot of people do your you can buy a cool think on Amazon that plugs in and still allows you to buckle if if need be
If you put your gas into a clear container when you cycle out the "bad" gas then you can see if there is garbage or water in your gas also.
I tested the injector after the video or a battery and some carb cleaner it was clogged bad but I got it all cleaned up but now I have a spare and then I stuck a fuel filter on the line because mine didn’t come wothnit
i think i have a similar problem, when im driving if i give it more gas to accelerate faster it starts to slow down no matter how much gas i try to give until it stops and shuts off

I have one some where and oil chamge every 55 hours or 100 miles I believe I’m just now at the 100 hour break in point so I need to change oil in mine soon

I got a 2019 hisun sector 550 too my injector went out on 100 hours exactly 100 hours in Hisun would not fix it for me even they would not help me troubleshoot it at all thank God for my buddies helping me out figure out the problem with the injector he helped me find one on eBay for 12 bucks ever since then I put in it I have not had no troubles knock on wood I hope it don't happen but I think hisun products is kind of crappy they don't help you for ordering parts they don't help you tell you what oil filters to use or air filters even you try to email them and ask them for couple things ask him where can you order oil filters and that stuff anything you get is from them they tell you call at 1-800 number I used to be a big hisun fan ever since that happened and they would not help me out I'm not a big hisun fan anymore
Yeah I totally understand you man I’ve help sell so many of there products and stuff over the two years I’ve had it and they don’t do anything to thank me beside a hat and shirt , I’ve got proof from CZcams that people said this video made me pull the trigger on mine. And you think they would do a little more but nope I’m just making them now to help people make them last longer and I’m glad you got it fixed
Been on the fence with purchasing one of these units. If I decide to, think I’ll pick up an in-line fuel filter and install it before I even put gas in it.
Well I’ve also heard if you buy a new one they come with it installed now so they must have seen my video 😂 lol but yeah I would definitely put a better one on it for your own cause

Can you tell me what the Lubey Dubey is? I’m going to give this a try. No mechanical experience, but you made it look pretty easy. The gas line cutting is the only thing that scares me a bit
It just lubricant and don’t be scared that’s how you learn
Great video man! I gotta hold my gas pedal to the floor to start it, and even then it has a really hard time starting. I thought it was a weak battery, turns out its probably the injector! Gonna tackle this project myself, thanks again!!

Same here. Once I get the motor warmed up it is a little better about starting but still seems to have a loss of power over all.

@@quality1047 yeah once mine starts and runs for a bit, it starts right up every time after until it sits for awhile
@@quality1047 so I would tell you to do the same thing I done and I didn’t show I took sand paper to the spark plug cleaned it then shot it with brake cleaner to clean it and everything’s better have a lot more power
It will do that with the seat belt relays too. Then the next time you try it and buckle it up it might work fine for a while needs replaced
For some reason my Side by Side doesn’t have the seat belt safety feature to slow it down idk if it’s because I bought mine new in 19 but I’ve never had to to make it go full speed

Did you test the gas cap. Backfires are usually an air lock in the gas tank.

I wonder if your injector was leaky. Mines doing the same and the spark plug is wet when its running ruff, also pops out the exhaust like its super rich.
It was clogged it was only spraying one hole
Hey Landon, we spoke on here before about my power steering problems on my rk 750. Now its dead in the water. When trying to start it only clicks at the solenoid . Replaced with new solenoid and it still just clicks at the solenoid. Any advice?

It still just clicks. I can feel it in the solenoid. Still having a horrible time with hisun in Texas and for the most rk also, but their mechanic seems to be honest about the power steering and said he had tried everything and just doesn't know what's wrong with it...thank you for responding...
I have no clue on the power steering and yeah from what I heard your better off to fix it all your self because it may come back with more wrong with it and if I wasn’t so busy I would come look at it. I would get a new solenoid and battery if battery is good then one of amazon

I’ve not looked in how closely they are made but I’m sure you could find a Hisun part and it will match perfectly but make sure you try and compare parts and I’m sure they will be good. I’ve had my almost 4 years this august been a darn good one hope you get yours lined out if there’s anything else I can do let me know
own a 21' axis 700 and it started bogging down total loss of power , figured i clean air filter and fuel filter , having trouble getting lid off air box? Due you have to loosen ebrake bolts on column?? any help appreciated im disabled and some of this is alittle hard for me
Idk if your is totally the same but air box is on the hood of mine and air box lid just has snap clips and come off and mine had no power changed the injector and I put a inline fuel filter on it because they don’t come with them that’s why they get clocked easy and have trouble. Where you located?

I'm suspicious of the "dirt" in the injector because you have fuel filter on there and that prevents dirt from getting to the injector.
Did you check out the original injector to verity the dirt? I mean it seems if it plugged it up then you should be able to see that.

How do i know if its my idle control valve or injector? Mine seems to run fine after it warms up
Well I’m having trouble again I let it sit two years and I think I need to get the old gas out it will run if I keep the gas down but now when let it dies so I’m not sure what’s going on needs ran for while for sure to see after it warms up
Just bought a 750 from RK . I'm confused as to whether or not I screw the dipstick in to check the oil?.
Also it is giving a code in the clock area of 700-7.

Hey I appreciate the kind words should tell you the proper way in the manual but when I check it I don’t screw it in it’s all on the person you can screw it in too long as your in the safe zone and I’ll see if I can find the code

Keep up the good work I own a 2021 Colman hisun outfitter 550 came with filter tore a axel boot cleaned it put shoe gue from wall mat on it been holding for almost year now

Hey Brother, I had the same problem with my 2019 550 Sector, and used your video to fix my bike. I definitely made it better, but I still have this stalling at start up? Since the injector change, it starts up right away, then stalls in about 10 seconds. It seems that after the third time it will continue running. Do you have any suggestions?

If I keep the gas pedal feathered to keep it running and get rolling, it will run fine. But once the machine is cold again, I’ll go through that same startup - stall process. Any advice would be appreciated.
How many hours does your 550 have on it when the problems started
The problem was only because it didn’t have a fuel filter on it but around 800 miles

@@richardschaffling9882 hopefully I save people a little trouble was the main goal and if it loses power or doesn’t wanna idle just turning it on and cutting out really bad 9/10 it’s the injector but hope you have good luck with it. Wonder if it could be a ground or something to do with the harnesses first thing I would try is put it in revers and put a test light or a volt meter to it and see if your getting power.

You run your 550 harder than i’m willing to run my 750… it sounds too wild at anythin over 5500rpm….that being said, i can roll at 40 at 5k… i run about 30, and it sounds like your being easy on it…
How ever you wanna run it , you can do you and I will do me and they have a governor for a reason but yeah sometimes I push it harder than I should but testing the machine to limits is what I’m doing to show you guys you don’t always need name brand

The smoke is me running seafoam through the carb and trying to fix it that way but then i fixed it with a injector and fuel filter
If your asking before it messed up no smoke at all just no power and sputtering bad
If your battery is dead your ignition system isn't going to work correctly. If your injectors are clogged and filter after the fact isn't going to help. If you're putting regular gas in it the ethanol that Biden ok'ed to add more to the gas is shit. Use premium fuel only in all your vehicles. It looks really dusty. Air filter is clogged also. Have you changed the plugs? Just my 2 cents.
Yeah understand what your coming from but that jump pack give the battery 14.3 volts more than enough to run the whole system and I forget how long ago I made this video but the Buggy is doing better than ever so the issue I had was bad injector o have a way of checking them now but added the fuel filter because dirt in the gas and on the side of the buggy it says only 91 so I follow that.
Hisun is absolute garbage. I have 96 hours on mine i have already had to replace the wet clutch and bearing thought i was back in shape but now it will crank, has fuel, has spark but wont start! 96 hours! Dont fall for the good value bs like I did its gonna cost you a lot of money and headache in the long run. After all the repair videos ive seen on here I am convinced ive been ripped off. Gonna make my own video to let everyone know what a POS hisun is

Depending on the year they started putting them on there I heard but I just went to rural king got a 10 or 14 micron filter
And the one I bought was for 3/8 or 5/16th hose
I put an exhaust silencer on mine and it really helped with the loudness.

Well I’ll tell you this I’m the kinda that is always prepared for every situation have multiple ready in the glove box and plenty of tools when we go out. But have a great day buddy all new ones come the same way…
