+Pranxter Then it would be amazing in your control. :) I wasn't at all an aggressive player at the time that Soul Blade came out. I learned how to be more aggressive at the time because of Hwang (with Phantom), Li Long, and of course, Mitsurugi.
Ended it like a boss! as i can see i am not the only one struggling with Hwang. Thanks for the amazing upload, much appreciated. Good use of skill, this is why i somehow adore this game. The AI is somewhat too intelligent even for modern standards. Its a great challenge and not even mentioning the epic music. All the best to you!. Regards, Christian
Man... I remember playing playing the import version of Soul Edge (yes, not "Blade") and doing Edge Master Mode in Japanese... I never knew what the hell the story was, and now I kinda want to jump back in and do it all over again in English. I do remember that SICK invisible final sword Hwang earned though.
Wow.. that would have been super tough - not knowing the rules for each episode! Funnily enough, I got Dreamcast Soul Calibur back after many years, and initially I only had the Japanese version, so I didn’t know the rules of each of the mission battles xD
+Dan K That's if you don't press a button to throw the swords in the sea. This is the real ending, I think you have to press B in arcade mode when the black lines dissapear so you can get the real ending.
Wow! This game sure does have such good graphics for its day!
After all these years, I still remember how much I loved the sword Phantom. It's one of the few weapons I remember from Soul Blade.
LordSephleon Im digging the range of the Phantom Blade its op
Pranxter The weapon overall is OP until you try blocking with it. You have to be Mitsurugi-style aggressive with it.
I am the agressive kind of soul blade player
so its no problem for me
