- Valentine Sandwich Cookies (No Spread Sugar Cookies)
4 C. Flour
3/4 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1 C. Butter Soft
1 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
Bake @375° for 10-12 Minutes
Sugar Cookie Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoons light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract
Instructions:
Sift sugar then mix in the corn syrup and extract.
Add milk a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Renae i sure wish i had a grandmother like you growing up! Such fun with your granddaughters! These look absolutely delish! I might give it a try even. I hate doing cookies because i always forget and end up burning them a bit! LOL! I think I'd do them with red raspberry jelly and maybe a bit of nutella on the bottom!

I love my marble rolling pin. Esp when you’re making pie crust bc the pin is cold & heavy. I was at my in-laws house once helping her put dishes away. I’m so used to my rolling pin being so heavy, I picked her wooden one up so hard I smacked the under side of her cabinets, rattled all of her dishes 🤣

I make my own vanilla & a couple other extracts. (It’s the only alcohol in the house, but so worth it!)I also make vanilla sugar. I’m a big vanilla fan.

I hear you on the measuring cups. I’ve noticed I don’t have the strength I used to especially when kneading breads. These look amazing. I haven’t made sugar cookies in years. My recipe is pretty close if not the same. Yum these look delicious

That's when we're All stressed OUT, at our little Country store, us employees and DELI MANAGER! Everyone from Twin Cities wants to come and hear the Loons, see the sunsets, be on their pontoon, go skiing, dragged on inner tube (kiddos). In that respect I love winter! HA, I get paid the same. The 👄 cutter would make a good mustache for Father’s Day 😊 or be a bird pattern.
Also, put a teaspoon of rice in the bottom of your muffin tin cups, then use cupcake liners. Your muffins shouldn’t burn😊
