Doing the Lords Workđđ» Can Confirm this is all trueđ
Yes! It's a constant struggle to keep up the image of a "professional mountain biker." đ
LOL... Don't forget the other cannons of bike photos: 1) Chain level, front to rear. 2) Cranks level w/ drive side facing forward. 3) Pedals level. 4) Tire logos at the same positions on each tire, and tires spotless, even down inside the tread. 5) Entire bike spotless. 6) Seat level, or if a DH bike, tipped up at the front, even if that's not how you ride. 7) Zero stack height, zero stem length. 8) Everything color coordinated to suit the viewers 9) Bike can't be more than 2yrs old. 10) Bike must be from one of only the 3 most popular manufacturers, and one of the 2 most popular models.
I paid a shit ton, somebody's gotta see this
Dropper post slammed. Period. No extended seat posts
@@jfflyboy yes! I can't believe he forgot the most important thing!!!đ
By popular brands you mean the boutique ones that bike nerds idolize
Seat post must be extended, never slammed
I'm never gonna get past your amazing delivery. #1 in MTB comedy for sure.
Thanks brother! Bobo's still the king. I'm just the court jester! đ
When taking pics I like to have a flat pedal on one side and clipless on the other. Keep em guessing!
A true content creator. Thanks called maximizing engagement as ever other comment points out the one thing that's wrong. đ
#6) Always remember to subtract (and round up) the weight of the tire sealant you've added before telling someone how much your bike weighs. The mounted tires don't come with the sealant already in them, so it doesn't count! đđ
Your videos always make me laugh out loud. You rock man! Keep 'em coming!
I just now ran across your channel and I love it. Iâve only watched two so far, but had to comment. Love it, keep it up.
NAILED IT. Especially about E bikes. I constantly have to explain why I want to have more fun. Thanks Bro-sephous.
Complaining about a Ebike is bout as dumb as complaining bout a car with power steering.
I have to say your post / videos rock. The bust me up every time. They are funny but true. I love that you make fun of what we all know but don't always say is true. Thx for the great videos. đ
Thanks Tobin! I appreciate that. Iâve been meaning to release more CZcams vids but time is so hard to come by these days. Iâm making it a point to get more vids out from now on! I still have a blast making them.
@@CaliradoKid I totally understand doing these videos most people do not realize takes a lot of time to edit ect. So it is greatly appreciated when people like yourself do them. I just like that yours are different and not just the standard mtb videos you see everywhere. Yours are memorable. đđđŽââïž
đ Very funny but, all friggen on point. BKXC would be proud of you rocking the jersey as well. Great segment dude ! đ
This was everything it needed to be and more. Nice job!
Thanks!! I feel like I'll have to make a follow up to this one at some point. There's so many things to point out! đ
Greetings from Spain!! LOVE mountain biking, LOVE your Channel!!
Love this guys Chanel đđ makes me feel like Iâm watching my name is earl but mountain bike version
Haha! MTB Earl! đ
This is such a valuable knowledge for all new people, whish I would known that 20 years ago
Granite Bay shooting location đ The part about when you get an eBike is SOOOOOO true!
Haha! I always line up my tire logos, chain, pedals and seat post on my way to the trails⊠yep! My bike rides on a 1up bike rack⊠very classy đ€đ
1up makes a great bike rack!
I did not expect this at allđđđâŠ
But Iâm here for it
Haha! I'm glad I threw you a curveball. đ
Very handy tips, thanks heaps.
Haha
This is hilarious
Just found your channel! Love it! Keep up the good work!
Oh man. Strap in and get ready for some hijinks! Stoked to have you on board!
@@CaliradoKid Thatâs awesome! We have a whole family of MTB enthusiast.
My three little boys shred and they are starting to pick up on a lot of these stereotypes!
So funny!

I'm so glad I busted myself on the last ride of the year. No shuttling for me. Just a winter of riding on the rollers
claiming it! 50k subs Joe! congrats!
Yes!! We done did it! đ„
If you perfectly align your value stem and tyre logo. Your tyre tread is guaranteed to be on backwards. If it's ever so slightly out of alignment you're good.
Truth.
You sir are a genius!
Great video. Especially about the e-Bike.
This was great! đ
You are for REAL! GOOD gor you. I have subscribed because of...
Love it!
You are hilarious brother! I love your videos!
Thanks man! So many Hijinks. So little time. đ
We man! No wonder no one like my pictures of my bike! Thank you!
I recent bought a Emtb.. love it
They're SUPER fun! Just make sure you let everyone know you're still in shape! đ
@@CaliradoKid I ride it like a motorcycle . With some peddling
haha the e-bike info was hilarious
I checked my bike photos and I've made some noob errors. My tyre and rim logos aren't level front and rear, my drive train is on the far side and my pedals aren't horizontal. Damn.
I have aligned my tube stems with the tyre logos though so not all bad. đ
Buying the top of the line bike is crucial! To figure out that it was not the old bikes fault for you being slow - reality check strikes đ
I follow the ol' "why fix it when you can get a new bike" motto. đ
All of your contents are amazing.
Thanks! Stoked you're diggin' it!
Dude this on point to the Tđđ
Love your rascal revel
Thanks for all the great information coming from a pro!
Haha! It's easy to tell I'm a pro because I ACT like I know what I'm talking about! đ
Don't forget to secure your helmet strap.
-Safety guy
Haha! Safety Second! That's what my dad always said...before he fell off that ladder and broke his hip. đ
#2 Amen to that!
Amazing video đđ
So good and so tru đ
All of these are true! đ€Ł Good Job!
I'm just glad nobody has asked me how the Kashima coating feels. đ
Nailed it đ
Damn, thought youâd help me dial my tire pressure đą
Haha! I'm the wrong guy for the job. I still just give it a good old fashioned squeeze test! đ
Don't you have self adjusting air pressure? đ Whitegrow hubs, really big like a gear hub, which is an mechanical system and biggest option but Graava hub, which is electronic, Air hose connected to the hubs. Automatically ads air as you lose air due to puncture.
White growis 550g per wheel.
The Gravaa hub connects to you cycling computer.
Haha. Love it đ
You're funny bro.... I subbed đ
Yes! I appreciate you supporting this ridiculousness! đ
5 is painfully true, I speak from experience. I frequently tell other riders that I still ride my analog bike 2 to 1.
Always remember to subtract 3 pounds from your bike's weight when telling someone how much it weighs to account for the 1lb pedals.
LOL...Funniest MTB vid I've seen in a while
Always remember to buy the highest-spec, coolest looking bike with the most travel. Even though you won't need 170mm front 160mm rear with full kashima coating, Shimano XTR or anything SRAM AXS with carbon wheels, it'll make everyone think you're a professional and that you're cool, it's all that matters.
the revel is looking sick
Itâs so good! Got a bunch of rides on it now.
@@CaliradoKid yeah i saw the live
Pure genius đ€Ł
The Ebike comment is so true you donât have one your missing out you just double your ride your dh time uphill time you just get to ride more on the Ebike âĄïž đâ€
I have this bike! Woohooo!
Yes! It's so good!
Folsom Lake in the background.
Professional mountain biker đ So good , LA traffic đđđ
Hey! I'm BASICALLY a professional mountain biker. đ
SUCH A PLAYER
Player's gonna Play! đ
Nice bike, how much travel does it have?
The Rascal has 140mm front and 130mm rear. It's kinda the perfect bike for where I live!
Haha, so trueđ
100% sir
ok, that was funny. Must make sure Cranks are level for photos....you missed that one. LOL
Damnit! Haha. That one slipped by! đ
Fax
Hey that's the same bike I have, and same color, i.e. Sedona, but I don't have the Kashima coating... đ
The Rascal is so good! I LOVE the Sedona color. Side note. I cannot tell the difference between Kashima and regular...but I'll NEVER tell anyone lest they think I'm not a professional. đ
@@CaliradoKid Lol - totally agree, there is no discernible difference. And yes, love my Rascal, and the Sedona color!
Gotta know your tire pressures, cuz who doesnât?! And also blame your bad ride on clips/flats, whichever you normally rideđ€đ»
âAbsolutely not, thatâs your fault for getting injuredâđ
đ
Nice video. Did you get a new bike?
Revel sent me a bike to try out and Iâm digging it! Itâs the Rascal. So good!
@@CaliradoKid great to hear. Love seeing your channel grow!
I am proudly injured, broke my collarbone while riding my mountain bike.. and had surgery yesterday.
Oh no! That's never good. But get ready to be the hero your friends didn't know they deserved. đ
That uneasy smile lol.....should be a catalyst to get more subscribers đ
The Ted Lasso of mountain biking
Don't forget when talking to other riders about your bike, give them the weight without sealant, pedals, and bottle cages, but don't mention that the weight is w/o those items. That way they'll be impressed with how light your bike is, and if it's not an impressively light enough number, subtract the the bar, grips, and seat.....Then even those XC weight weenies will be impressed with your trail/enduro rig.....lol
đŹđ§Kashima Coating long travel 180 mil ah! MaXxis Tyres all lined up with valve ! Check and have all on an ebike! Two wheeled Dream machine!Wow!! I live for the downhill trails!
đ€đđ€
You're dialed in!! Love it.
Forgot to buckle the helmet when you put it on. Thatâs how your biking career can end kids. Always buckle in your helmet đ
Canât believe you forgot when taking the picture the cranks must be level pointing forward and pedals level too.
Haha! Yes! The devil is in the details. đ
Donât forget to have the cranks at 9 and 3. Extra points are awarded for how level you can get them.
And for valve stems both have to on the bottom. Or at least the same direction on both wheels
Yes! So many keys to the PERFECT photo. đ
Same thing for rigid plusbikes đ
I don't have money to buy kashima coating, I'm not going to mountains anytime soon XD
There was water in that lake at one point, I think. Getting harder to remember the before times.
Is that Willow Lake or Watson Lake? It looks Like Willow Lake to me.
@@kamoterorl pretty sure thats folsom. Was there Thursday and that thing is frickin low
I have an ebike.. and i love it :D
They're AWESOME! Just don't tell anyone...they'll get pissed off! đ
Is that a Rascal? Can you do a review?
It's absolutely a Rascal! So good! I'm not sure I'm the right guy for the job when it comes to bike reviews. UNLESS I find a way to make it pure comedy.
I've made all of them, multiple times. Can I still be a mountain biker?
What the blank is "kashima" coating??? đ Must not be real, because it does not come up on spell check. đ Keep it up!
Itâs the gold coating on higher end shocks
Just because you donât know what it is doesnât mean you canât ACT like you know what it is when your friends ask! Thatâs the path to a real pro! đ
first comment and like lol
Anyways great video and hilarious as always
Yes! The early bird gets the worm! đ
KASHIMA! đđđ
It's all about letting people know YOU know about Kashima! đ
I never bothered to explain my ebike. Everyone knows I need one.
Love me some E-Bikes! I just find that most times I run into people in the trail they feel guilty for rocking one. I'm like "you're having a blast and that's all that matters!" It's a good time to be a mountain biker.
I love my ebike and if I ever felt guilty , I forget all about it a long time ago
Lol, that's so true the guy down the street that owns the bike shop hates ebikers. He wants to get us band. I don't think he gets it, i can run somebody over just as easily with my pedal bike, but can do it on the uphill or downhill on the ebike, and it's so fun when nobody's around to go throttle only, đ€Ł
You forgot about mentioning your age while talking about your ebike.
I use my age and lack of ebike to cover for my lack of fitness.... "Hey, I'm over 60 and still riding an Amish bike. So..."
Haha! That's also true. đ
Just found out I'm a pro too đ
Never under any circumstance ever ride a hardtail, apparently they're illegal according to everyone who doesn't ride a hardtail.
Faster with clipless!
One day I'll have an ebike. I'll tell everybody I'm an out of shape terd n need it.
Tip number six never ride in long pants or they'll get caught in your chain ring
đđđ
Forgot to mention that if you do not wear the following brands, you're not a real mtb-er:
Fox, Troy Lee, 100%, Leatt, Smith, POC, Ion, NF... basically if you go for the discount deals on Amazon/Walmart đ
Haha! Yes. That's right. The less you spend on gear the better a rider you are. đ
What about Patagonia baselayers? Do I lose mtb points for that? They make the best baselayers in the game thou đ
As a professional mtb'er you forgot to do you helmet up đđđ
Safety Second?! đ
-What a dork!
6.) Fasten your helmet
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Don't forget to strap on your helmet.
As a "professional" you should fasten your helmet straps before riding off...or you'll possibly end up as the shuttle driver. đ
Due to job loss last year I'm still recovering from, I've not been able to buy a mtb, so am borrowing someones elses trail e-bike. It's 70lbs, but I make sure to leave it off so people know I'm leaving it off when they see me struggling to pedal it, knowing that I'm not ruining their trails anymore than they are.
I'm sure the trails will be just fine! Ride on my friend. Ride on!!
Conclusion I will piss off a lot of people and they will piss me off. Maybe I should quit now. đ
Oh wait I love riding too much, there is room for everybody.
Haha! Absolutely true! Ride on my friend!
