This betting strategy is also known as multi betting in Australia or accumulator betting in the UK. I utilise the parlay betting strategy along with many methods such as positive EV and arbitrage. Hope you guys can find it insightful but please do more research first on parlay betting and make sure you understand the maths before betting any of your actual money.

I had a 13 leg parlay with 33.20, with a final bet being Granada - Villarreal, under 4.5 goals. The score was 3-2 after 30 minutes.
i take 2 keys then 2 other best bets the 5th game both ways higher lower so i get odds for five picks then 2 keys and the other 3 combos so 5 bets and win if 2 keys win you can take 3 keys and 8 other combos for 6 picks 3x2x2x2 and vary the amounts
@@rogerrosen2323 betting a 5th game both ways is just giving your money away.
Quick tip: Always leave 1 event which takes place after the others. This way, you can hedge, and win regardless.

@@gregoryhillmercury645 You can bet on 10 events, for example. 9 are successful. Then, you can either win $500, or lose your $2. Instead of doing so, you can bet on the opposite outcome. In most cases, parley betting is all about wagering on the favorite. So, you bet on the outsider, let’s say $200. Now, your wager is $202 but you win regardless of the outcome.
It means you can cash out before the next game.
How do you know the one which to bet on. Like I don't understand what your point is even.
@@Nafiuyoungvirus if X has a 90% chance to beat Y, you should put X>Y on your parlay bet and Y>X individually. You bet on both sides because either you win the parlay bet or you win the individual bet.

Parlay betting to win 100k plus is basically like doing the LOTTERY. Sure someones gonna win. But the odds are stacked against you. Doubles and trebles are realistic. Beyond that is sheer luck.
For the overwhelming of punters betting singles to make a profit long term is also sheer luck.

With parlay bets, you will have a very large variance in the long run, which will hurt your emotions and make you lose focus.
@@Shane.Huang. dunno I bet single and parlays all the time for a very long time. My emotions are disappointment when I lose but I have won the majority of my single bets, I'm good. Parlays my bankroll grows much faster, even if I lose the majority of my single bets. I also employ hedging when possible and still profit overall.
What kills my bankroll is withdrawals to pay for stuff.
Then the time to build it all back up again which would take much longer with only straight single bets.
It also helps me churn through deposit bonuses much faster.
Variance can work in your favor too. I say its 50/50 because there was bets that i should of lost but variance was on my side lol

Yesterday I had a parlay of 20 soccer teams and all 19 came as predicted but there is a game where I bet for the best team to win with 24 points on the table and playing a team that in in the last two bottom of the table with only 8 points. The match ended as a draw and I had many options but I wanted only that ticket to play for Saturday and this is a team I never bet on… if that team would have won I would have won $7000 as I place $79 on it. I have lost of five tickets in a row where only one team mess it up

Trying to settle a debate, there isn't a way to arb parlays correct? My cousin doesn't believe me that parlays can not be apart of somebody's arbitrage punting
Something you need to highlight is how to identify fair odds! You can't identify fair odds and that's the only reason money can be made from the bookies. If fair odds were easily identified then odds given to us would make it impossible to get a net profit in average.
Basically we're trusting these companies won't mess us up with the EV they give us, which is ironic since the whole strategy is relying on the betting companies to mess up.
Betting on both sides just involves relying on the math and doesn't require knowing anything about the event in question

@@kevinwilson3337 idk but it was definitely risky, it was during the nba playoffs, I ran the exact same parlay after and didn’t hit again, part of my parlay was Dennis shruder hitting 2 3’s in the game too

With this strategy plese respect bankroll manegment! If you bet on paralays you would need to bet mach smaller % of the bankroll compare to single bets! So at the end you should make same profits with paralays like with single bets! Advantage of paralay beting are slower betting limits from bookmaker. Also when you bet on paralay betting your max bet is much much smaller. In idela world absolutly paralay betting is beter than single bet (valuebet)
if you have more edge and put the same portion of your bankroll into work, lets say making a lot of parlays, you should make more profit than single bets. lets say for 3 games you can make 3 different 2-game parlays, or with 5 games you can make C(5,3)=10 different 3-game parlays. edge goes higher and profit goes higher. the variance is higher but not as much. is this correct?
@@Arashhh85 You are corect in theory. On paralays limits are smaller than on single bets, so the max. limits are those who kill you on paralays vs singles
@@Arashhh85that’s not accounting for the odds I don’t think. For the 3 game 3 parlay scenario. Call em A,B,C.
1.00 bet and each scenario pays out the following amounts
(a,b)=1.75
(a,c)=2.5
(b,c)=5.00
So in this scenario if you placed a bet on all 3 possibilities, you’d only come away ahead if combo (b,c) hit for 5.00. Which will be the most unlikely combo to hit. Say it does tho. You’ve now spent 3.00 to win 5.00 so covering each scenario erases the entire edge you gained by wagering on the parlay in the first place.
For you to get the highest possible payout w/ that strategy the house is giving you odds worse than -150. So they’re winning either way even if your best case scenario comes true. I never heard of bet limits on parlays. It’s not like a sportsbook to turn away free money lol
Best parlays I’ve done were 3 1.20 bets for 108 total. 30 some a piece. And a 3.50 for 220 on a ChiefsVsBucs SGP. I’ve spent more than 3x those winnings on losing parlays since then.
Only issue is it's impossible to win more parlays than single bets. So it's not profitable even if you do 1 dollar bets it will never even out.
I just want to say that the chances of that parlay hitting in the example are basically the odds of our sun going super never in the next couple days

Has anyone re-examined the profitability when used specifically in tournament soccer's structure - I've always known as a former poker pro that parlays weren't profitable as we have many stories in the community but somehow...I've been profitable in Men's/Womens World Cups BIG TIME
Ur individual luck has nothing to do with wether or not parlays are profitable. 99.99% of the time parlays are less profitable than straight bets because it’s essentially compounding vigs. That is unless you place a parlay with legs that all have positive EV because then it’s like you are charging the casino a vig for taking your bet

What I'm trying to ask is how sure are we that the numbers are constant in many different metrics in general - that's what I'm asking - all too often we assume that if someone is charging tax on our pizza we simply trust....in a trust-based system like the United States...I'm simply wondering if everyone knows how to do math - much less actually double checks...

If the bets aren’t occurring simultaneously, aren’t you better off to just place your bets one by one and increasing the bet with your previous winnings? You’d get the same payout, but also have the ability to pull out or hedge at any time

Ev is very simple. You either have game edge or payout edge in betting. You can take a true 50/50 quarter, in the long run theory is the games should come out heads/tails at an equal rate right? So How do we exploit this? You need to gain a payout edge, on every flip if you can bet less than the other person than you will have a payout edge. ie; you bet $9 and they bet $10. Your theoretical EV here is .5. Then for sizing you really would need to run monte carlo sims to see the swings you should expect and adjust your cap bets using something like kelly crit, well u would want to use like .25% kelly to lower your chance of going bust.
In blackjack counting your edge is so tiny on a lot of games that you have to be hundreds+ of bets deep to lower the risk of ruin. Your betting needs to be adjusted to the game your playing. If you're arb betting u can bet way more as your risk are canceled bets, and exchange risk.

Parlay is when you pick different players to achieve a curtain goal during the game. If you have a 5 leg parlay. Every one of those legs need to achieve a goal to win. If even one leg lose you lose the best let.

I just lost a 2K 11 leg Parlay with a 30% boost yesterday thanks to Mike Conley being taken out the game because of a right soleus strain. I needed 3 measly points from him.

Honestly, just wish I could find someone to explain this in simpler terms. You get way into the math and too fast to keep up unless the viewer is experienced and can follow along. I've recently won an easy bet. I made two thousand dollars betting that my neighbor, who has ASD and a learning disability, would still be living at home.
