One thing I’ve noticed with the poison sprayers/flamethrowers is that they work really well if you put some on spots where they spray straight down a lane since their AOE is a cone to maximize their damage but you tend miss out on some of the elevation bonuses
It's hard passing up elevation bonuses though. But having them shoot down a straight stretch would be amazing for sure! If we could target "last" that would ensure that it would always target down the line
@@Verowak the elevation is definitely stronger but if you run out of good spots up high it’s something to look for

@@Verowak Having them at the back square of a long line and using pure progress targeting is pretty effective to target down a line!

For some reason I usually wait until I have a decent amount of crit already, not sure why though

oh. i always underestimated those poison sprayers as it seems...
I think one of the things that makes them really strong is the fact that creeping cough gets applied and slows the enemies down. I'll be trying flame tower only next to see just how different it is (since I feel those two towers are similar, just burn instead of poison)

See, with the throwers, I think that doing Priority can be great when you have them 'following' mobs down a straight or straight-ish path.
That's what I've started doing and yeah, it's the best priority for these towers for sure

always good to have the minimum of unlocked towers to max out the upgrades needed for starter gold etc. like skipping the card for haunted houses as it adds to useless cards you can draw.
The problem I have with unlocking lots of cards is that I very often don't get good cards offered to me, just lots of towers which I skip but they keep coming back :(

Sprayers are AoE attacks. Pretty sure you shouldn't be trying to snipe individual enemies with them via "least health/armor/shield." Instead, focus on hitting as many enemies as you can in a single line, either through "progress" or through "most health/armor/shield." That way, you're hitting as many enemies at once as possible, either downstream or upstream.

@@Verowak in that case I'd like to see somebody do encampment only.
Each sprayer uses 1 mana pr. Sec so as long as your mps is the same as nr. Of towers you can never run out of mana even if all your towers can fire at once ^_^
As the towers level, the mana they use increases so you definitely need more mps than number of towers

@@natanoj16 No worries! Every tower that uses mana increases mana usage with level, just something to keep an eye out for if you notice your mana getting used up quickly
