- After La Paz, we traveled to Sucre, the first capital of Bolivia. In fact, Sucre is the constitutional capital of Bolivia and the seat of Justice.
In this video, we walk through the city of Sucre, Bolivia - known for its striking white buildings, rich history, and remarkable architecture.
The Plaza de Armas or the Plaza 25th May is the main square surrounded by government buildings, museums such Casa de la Libertad, and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Sucre.
We learned about the history of Bolivian independence and walked the lanes of the city with white buildings and tan-colored roofs.
The general Cemetery of Sucre is unique and a place to experience. It is not just a cemetery, but also a quiet park with trees where you can spend some tranquil time.
We watch the sunset from the top of Iglesia San Felipe de Neri and another day, from Recoleta. The cobblestone streets of Calle Gato Negro and Calle Gato Blanco are another 2 streets nice for a late afternoon walk.
We toured the Parque Cretacico, which has real Dinosaurs' foortprints from the Cretaceous period, from ~70 million years ago, discovered in a cement quarry few kilometers from Sucre.

Thank you for watching! Agree, it is a beautiful city and amazing country.
Thank you for making me remember my city, I was born in Sucre, my family is from there, but I grew up in La Paz. Every school vacation, I went to Sucre. Later I studied in Sucre. So many memories came to my mind while watching the video. I see that flota Cobacabana MEM (the bus which took you to Sucre) has improved a lot since I last travelled in one of those....
