So often I have been to Potosí... have you noticed? On the stones of the façades of the churches there are many details carved in them. That style is called barroco mestizo. The people working that stones were indigenous people who carved many of our Wak'as (Devas) into the rock in those intricate sculptures and designs, in that way those churches also became in a way a place of worship of that which was and is sacred to us.....
Have a nice time in Uyuni. 🙏🏽

      Hi! How are you? 😊
Thanks for watching our Potosi video.
Yes, it was wonderful to observe and learn from our guide about Barroco Mestizo style. We also observed this in La Paz.
We appreciate how you always share such insights that help us develop deeper understanding of Bolivia history and culture 🙏🏽
Yes, we enjoyed in Uyuni. It was part of our 5 month long travel through South America. Now we are back in Costa Rica and investing time in crafting these video stories about the wonderful countries that we visited. Hope you also enjoy watching the upcoming videos.
      Saludos.

@@ParadiseCatchers Namaskaram 🙏🏽, greetings from Bengaluru. Today I did my Sarpa Seva at the Isha Yoga Centre in Chikkaballapur. It was so intense, I was in front of the Chakana with all those Sarpas making the seva... It was the yogic union between the Andean world and Bharat ... I am so happy to be here.
Hope to soon see more videos from you.
Best wishes and good vibes ... 🙏🏽🐍

South America has quite a few beautiful places, great work exploring there. Indian knowledge about South America is fairly low except that there is violence and drugs problem. Also know that Colombia has quite a few Russians as communism did get a foothold there and also Germans have a presence in Argentina.

Indeed, South America is beautiful! Agree that Indians have limited knowledge about South America and Latin America at large. Many times the not-so-great things get highlighted more than the nice things. We hope to spread that knowledge as we make more videos of Latin America.
We got to know about some parts of the politics during our visits to Colombia and Argentina. Our Bolivia series will continue, followed by Chile, Argentina, Brasil and more. Keep Watching :-)
