Imagine, almost 5 years have gone by and I still have my ticket in my wallet as a reminder of what it means to bleed black & gold. LOGE 19, ROW 5, SEAT 1 near the glass. What a truly amazing and electrifying display of a team coming together to come back in such dramatic fashion. So many great Bruins from that team really provided me with a game memory that I will always appreciate and never will forget that night.

    One of the best sporting events I've ever attended. Probably a tie with Red Sox-Yankees ALCS Game 5 in 2004. When Bergeron scored to tie it 4-4, the roof came off the building. My wife was 6 months pregnant with our first born, and she felt him kicking for the first time when Bergeron scored the tying goal, he must have heard the noise and felt the vibrations in the building. And the entire crowd sang every song during the OT intermission... "Livin' on a Prayer", "Don't Stop Believin'", the vibe was absolutely amazing.
    And our first born son just got a chance to skate with Patrice Bergeron in Framingham a few weeks ago. Magical experience for him and for us as parents who clearly remember this game in 2013.

    I was there. I live in Toronto (Which is hard as a Bs fan) and drove 9 hours down to see the game with my boss who was a Leafs fan. At 4-1 my phone had countless texts chirping, emails, FB messages and missed calls with taunting voicemails. I was leaning on the railing just begging for this not to happen. The worst 9 hour drive back the next day just stewing ahead... I couldn't accept it. I was on my feet from then on screaming myself hoarse and then it just.. started happening. When Bergy scored the OT goal I started screaming "HIGH FIVES!! MORE!! MORE!" and climbing the rows. I left the building still screaming it and people were running across the street to crush high-fives lol (we were all in the bag) the next day I thought my hand was broken.

    I was there, my little brother got me the ticket as a gift. Balcony, last row - that section was CRAZY. It was the loudest I've ever heard the building. The comeback, Shipping up to Boston in the break before OT, the celebration afterward - what a night.

  • @peterkasturas6179
    @peterkasturas6179 Před 4 lety +1

    I was sitting two rows from the ice right behind Rajon Rondo who LEFT after the second period. He missed that magical comeback which happened right in front of our section. When we went down 4 to 1, lots of folks in our section were naturally bummed out, but I had driven up from New Jersey and spent a pretty penny on that seat, so I was going to get my money’s worth, win or lose. I was vocal even when we were down, and the Bruins rewarded us with this stellar comeback. I’ve been to so many amazing sporting events, but that was the single greatest comeback I’ve ever seen live. Lucic had a monster game and did all of the little things that added up to big things. When Bergeron put that wrist shot in to tie the game, it was absolute mayhem. For the record, I’m pretty sure Nathan Horton got a piece of that on the way in, but regardless, it was just amazing. The after effects of that game are still with me… I’ll never forget cruising down the street and being interviewed by the news station and then hopping into a Boston bar and basking in the afterglow with three other Boston fans (and a couple of Leafs fans who were very gracious in defeat). I truly felt for them and understood their misery being a lifelong Red Sox fan. I had to teach the next day and set off for Jersey at about 2:30 AM and somehow made it back for my morning classes. Needless to say, I slept well the next night. Overall incredible experience.

    I was there in the loge; although Rask gave up four goals - there was a Toronto break away in the middle of the third period that would of made it 5-1 ; however stopped breakaway and then bruins scored about a 2 minutes later to make it 4-2; i was sitting next to a man that was on vacation from San Jose - he had said that when the bruins scored the third goal - he predicted we bruins would win in OT

    How do you beat being at this game? It was my 8 year old son’s first ever professional sporting event!! We walked across Causeway St and saw a large group of Toronto fans standing in front of the Bobby Orr statue. A camera crew was there and said to get in the group. Front and center was my son in his Bruins jersey and myself in a Team USA jersey surrounded by Toronto fans 😂 The man next to the camera pointed at a Toronto fan who said “ live from Boston it’s game seven on hockey night in Canada” we weren’t even in the game yet and we are already on every television set in Canada!

    There's only two teams in the NHL that I cheer for: Ottawa and any team that can beat Toronto, LOL.
    After tonight's loss to Tampa, who's ready for the Leafs' annual Round 1 Game 7 collapse on Saturday night?

    Being a leaf I was heartbroken but then relieved when the bruins lost the cup in 17 seconds to Chicago. Last 2 years we met in the playoffs we still can’t beat them because those demons are still swirling around the team even though all the players from that team are gone. Also 2019 raptors championship kind of put that pain away
