The guy I'm really invested in hearing from soon is Rendog. The poor guy loses his throne and then everyone leaves to go on a lore holiday without the server's greatest storyteller. Someone really needs to signal Renbob in hyper space, man.
oh Renbob was always fun to see. I can imagine the Ren crew leaving Hermitcraft server due to it being too quiet.
It would be hilarious if the way they get back to hermitcraft is not by the rift, but with Ren's hyperspace hippy wagon.

I find it funny that Pix is basically stalking his server mates now.
That explains why he caught on to the museum theft so quick. It'll be hard to track down the items, however, with how quickly they change hands...that reminds me, I need to go warn some Empires people not to bring any Hermits in on certain secrets. NarratorPix sees most if not all of what the Hermits do, and I don't know how much information EmpiresPix might get from him.

You guys should make a video explaining the farmer queen pearl -> saint pearl in afterlife-> Santa perla in empires -> god who threw Ollie into empires -> pixs statue -> confused cleaning lady
I believe the Pix's statue bit is only inofficial lore so far (via a tweet), not officially pointed out in a video collab between Pix and Pearl.
@@TheRealWormbo in one of Sausage's videos there's other things around the statue that directly mention Pearl (and Sausage) so I'm pretty sure it's official (at least on his end, since Pix hasn't mentioned it)

There's always the possibility that the rift sends everyone back to the version of season seven where Mumbo was mayor, and they bring *that* version of him back to hermitcraft.

@@bugoyoutub To be honest, I'm not really sure mumbo is going to come back to hc, it would be one way to avoid the creative burn out and he could focus more on the filming channel etc as long as whatever he decides makes him happy then it's all good in my book.

I just thought, when the hermits return to hermitcraft, they can build statues of Pixel's and Zloy's skin. Then the "thie week on hermitcraft" gag can continue
Honestly I hope that once the Rift is back online they can then reverse the crossover and let the Empire people spend some time on the Hermitcraft server.
I'm curious how well that would work from a lore perspective. The hermits are by nature a social collective who spontaneously for groups and work together and like to explore together. From the little I know the empire people are working individually and are very bound by their background story.
I don't say it doesn't work. I'm just curious as I think the hermits are especially suited to do this while the empire people seem to be of a different nature.
@@benrex7775 I'm an avid Empires viewer (I'm only here now because of the crossover) and you're right - the whole point of Empires is that the members are very much tied to their lands and don't travel much except to trade and for special events (like a festival or a battle). As much as it could be fun to see them on the other side (and it would only be fair), I sort of see it that the Hermits are much more aware of everything (like social media and the fact that there are different "realms") whereas as far as the characters of Empires are concerned, with the exception of Gem, their world is the only world that they know of and to talk about youtube etc would be breaking the fourth wall, since social-media and fancy technology barely exists in the Empires world.
I'm personally up for anything the content creators do as it's up to them but yeah I feel like the Empires members crossing over would really mess with the story and lore a lot more than it does for the Hermits (since most of the Hermits don't even have a story to begin with)
@@febblepebble It's not quite right that most Hermits don't have a story. They also do role playing and it is not possible to be on CZcams for such a long while without building up some level of story. It's just not as obvious and strict in most cases as it is in the empire case.
Who are you viewing on the empire server and why?
@@benrex7775 yeah, that's what I meant - that the stories aren't always obvious/strict (whereas Empires is based entirely on the story)
I watch: LDShadowLady (because I've watched her for years), Geminitay (because I like her aesthetic and really enjoyed her season 1), Smajor (because he was one of the most involved in the season 1 plot and I've continued watching him since then), Sausage (because his builds are gorgeous and his storytelling is really intricate this season and difficult to follow without watching his persepctive), Shubble (because she's fun and I like her aesthetic), False (because she hasn't collabed much with others so I had no idea what she was up to), and Pix (because he does a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff and his builds are really intricate and interesting)
So basically I watch half the server and the other half I can pretty well follow through collabs (and I might pop over to their channels occasioanlly if I want further detail into something)
I'm not sure why you wanted to know but I hope it was... informative regardless lol
@@febblepebble No particular reason. Mostly to get a feel on why some people watch certain people. I barely know the empires server so any additional information is most likely new.
I love how XB went "I own everything. I shall rob everyone right now." and Beef, in the same situation, went "I could just... NOT pay for my shopping!" and then immediately proceeded to pay for everything he took anyway.
If this crossover goes on for much longer, I'm afraid that Pixs head will explode, and quite frankly, I don't want to be caught in the splash zone.
Wait for the BIG LORE that Ren is reconfiguring the Hermatrix and both Hermitcraft and Empires are Part of it. Docm77 only went over to check if everything would work out when they restart the Hermatrix.

It's weird when the narrator becomes part of the story, especially when the narrator knows so much about the characters that they never have to introduce themselves

Binging through S9 via recaps, and watching everyone baffled by Empires' "spiderweb of an economy" is hilarious knowing that in S10 they went ahead and invented the Permits

I'm pretty sure they covered it last week. He hasn't uploaded this week because of things going on in real life. (Before the crossover, Doc's wife fell ill with Covid and he had to take care of their child during that time. She's getting better but his time to record things is a tad limited still.)

I have to admit that hearing Pixlriffs commenting about how he personally is affected by the hermits (especially Grian) being on Empires, is still kind of different to get used to. I totally enjoy it; but it still seems odd. 😂
In certain Bdubs is the reason why the rift bece black. When he get in, it's still Violet but before he flew away from it, you can see a part of rift became black

When I looked at this from Grian's perspective, I was not aware that some of the Hermits apparently had identities in Empires.
Though GeminiTay seem to have a pretty easy way of handling it, Falsesymmetry might have more problems with it. And what's more confusing than when OrionSound accuses PearlescenMoon for being someone else.
Ah for some reason i can't stop laughing at pixl referring to himself with first person pronouns, because it is himself he's actually talking about.
Hope these are getting easier to make because we sure love them!
After seeing the clip where Bdubs reacted to the economy, I had to go watch the full episode. Totally worth it!
I Like seeing the members of both empires and hermitcraft (false pearl and Gem) in free ways
Pearl: used to have a varent of herself in the empires reality but they died 1000 years ago since s1 and 2 of empires are 1000 years apart
False: this one is obvious but I’ll explain it anyway there is a varent of them in the empires universe and since hermit false is in that universe they can meet up
Gem: is the same person in both reality’s and could probable help get the hermits back they can travel through both whenever they like
The cross over is so cool
I too love that these three have basically the same problem to solve, and they all decided on different solutions. It shows how creative they all are .

Can someone explain the lore behind the godess pearl? Is she pearlescent moon? Is this an Aqua Konosuba type situation?
basically, pearl was a member of empires season 1. she was part of the wither rose alliance ( basically, pearl was a member of empires season 1. she was part of the wither rose alliance (herself, gem, sausage, fwhip), though her main connection throughout the series was sausage, them remaining friends despite sausage later getting possessed by the main villain. Early on, sausage connects pearl to the land of her empire by giving her a magic beanstalk which she plants.
Pearl is involved in a good few major events, including slaying the demon despite her finding joy in fighting it. Blah blah blah, most of the plot of s1 is irrelevant besides pearl and sausages friendship. After Fwhip and Jimmy try to make peace between eachother by putting a salmon and a cod in a reactor, they trigger the apocalypse, where all empires fall in various ways.
remember that pearls connected to the land? yeah that’s important now. Pearls empire catches fire, and her and sausage retreat to a high place within it to escape. due to pearls connection, pearl withers away and dies despite sausages best efforts to save her,
Fast forward to afterlife smp, this is where things start to get blurry, as we only get sausages pov due to pearl leaving empires and not joining afterlife, i never watched this but from what i know: sausage makes a church to Pearl, aka the church of st. pearl in honour of her, and pearl blesses one of sausages swords. When sausage permadies in afterlife, he joins pearl, now a goddess, in heaven, and they vibe imao. Sausage does go to sleep though.
Next, Oli’s empires series. Oli wakes up in afterlife to find all of his friends gone, having all perma-died by now. He decides to go to heaven to drag back sausage, and when he does, meets god!pearl. they interact, but seeing hundreds of sausages and pearls head everywhere drives him off (pearl loved fighting, girl was obsessed with murder, and sausage sparred with her). Eventaully, when pearl says sausage is “asleep”, oli doesnt believe her and runs off despite her protests. He loses his elytra when jumping down towards the ground, and assumes this is pearl taking them away.
Oli does not like pearl.
Now, sausages empires series. This is a different sausage from the old sausage, so ill call empires season 1 sausage s1!sausage and season two, well, s2!sausage from here on out.
s2!sausage has a backstory unrelated to s1!sausage, but, has been having visions, alot of which containing pearl, his friend from another life and a god he worshipped in his old village in this one. He makes a church to her, she helps him out a bit and pops in outside of memories a bit.
Pearl is sausages goddess.
Now, fast forward to hc!pearl coming through the portal. She does not know what sausage is on about with santa perla. She does not know any of the empires members that arent on hermitcraft, and she certainly doesnt know shes a goddess.
hc!pearl is hc!pearl. It is unclear whether she has any actual connection to empires pearl outside of the obvious their both pearlescentmoon.

@@Aidan-zc8wx Well, HermitPearl has been staying in Chromia, Scott's empire, and hit it off right away with Scott. In his most recent video, she had built herself a spacious house there (which Scott was impressed by). I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the two of them being super close allies in Last Life, or reluctantly bonded soulmates in Double Life, but I can't think of why else Pearl would seek out Scott specifically.
Shot in the dark theory: One of the "Hermits" is ACTUALLY someone from the "life" series that Grian does, and the warning to "trust only YOUR SELF" to False is actually a message meaning that Kingdoms False and Hermit False must work together to defeat the interloper
There are a lot of people currently on Empires who were part of the Life series--both original Empires residents and Hermit newcomers. Grian, Scar, Bdubs, Impulse, Pearl, Scott, Lizzie, Joel, Jimmy...have I forgotten anyone? I feel like I have.

Did anyone else pick up on Xisuma going from Hermitopia to Pixlriffs' portal because "it's the closest portal".....even though X just came from Hermitopia which has a portal that X spent 20mins going through the portal getting his sheep back.
X often refers to himself as a Derp but this is Derp x10...........a new word needs to be invented for that!
