He was a strange one. He didn't set the world alight at Arsenal but he got a couple of important goals. I think maybe we expected too much as we were just excited to be signing an actual midfielder that wasn't a Jensen/Hillier clone but we didn't take his limitations into account.
looking back David Platt was an important player for arsenal. his experience contributing to wengers early reign.
