As I prefer small planes, this one is definitely on my list. The rudder and landing gear are simple additions to a model but they can make such a difference, hope we see more great planes soon!

Ya….thanks man.. I also prefer small aircraft and this one seems hard to pass on as my first jet, especially since it has rudder rather than reverse thrust (which I only like on the Ultrix) and can be hand launched since I fly off grass and can fly slow to boot. Seems to have it all at a good price point so like a lot of us, I don’t think I can hold off now….need to start making sales to support this hobby. Good thing I don’t have a wife 😉

Such a great airplane looks amazing!. I haven't bought one yet as I'm more of a park flier and this needs a long landing strip. Any chance can put the reverse thrust on out of the box for DXS users? I'd love to see a V2 UMX version of this. Also if you made the UMX and this plane in the blue angels paint scheme would be your best seller! Thinking of painting one of these myself.
If you fly over grass in a park, you can remove the landing gear to easily hand launch then land on the belly in much shorter distances as shown starting around the 12 : 30 mark in this video: czcams.com/video/apKnrTCl294/video.htmlsi=PBekmM41xKeejEf0&t=755
How do you think this will do landing in grass with gear on
If the grass is short enough to take off from then it will be no problem to land on the same grass surface with the gear on! But if the grass is too long to takeoff from, you should remove the gear and hand launch then belly land. Adam shows it land then takeoff from grass around the 10: 25 mark in this video, then lots of hand launches and belly landings starting around the 12 : 35 mark: czcams.com/video/apKnrTCl294/video.html
I just purchased one this week and have the same Spectrum 2200 mAh battery. Do you have any close-up shots of the battery install? It sure seems tight to me. Any weight added to the tail for balance? Thanks!

Does the plane have all 3 modes with beginner mode?
No, only E-flite and HobbyZone "trainer" models like the Habu STS, Apprentice STS, Carbon Cub S, Apprentice S and Sport Cub S have "full" SAFE with the three Beginner, Intermediate and Experienced modes. This model, like most E-flite models, has SAFE "Select" which is basically Beginner mode when it's enabled and turned on, or it's in Experienced mode when it's turned off (there is no Intermediate mode).
