It's hysterical - we have this extraordinary dancer, walking the streets and nobody knows who he is - which is good - but it's like "god" walking the streets.
Its the same in Germany, where he lives now 😕
HE IS JUST A MAN.
A SINNER.
COMPARING A SINNER TO GOD IS BLASPHEMOUS.
AND JUST DISGUSTING.
YOU DON'T KNOW GOD, THAT IS OBVIOUS BECAUSE IF YOU DID YOU WOULD NOT SAY SUCH A THING ABOUT THE ONE WHO WILL SEND YOU TO AN ETERNITY OF FIRE.

Sadly, I know nothing about ballet but YT’s algorithm recommended this video to me. Mr. Simkin makes a compelling interview subject. As he was describing his contemporary piece (which, I presume, is no longer around since this interview is now 4 years old), I started wondering what would happen if Mr. Simkin went to a Blue Man Group performance. I consider their performances to be “trippy” like Mr. Simkin was aiming to achieve. Then, I started imagining him collaborating with Blue Man Group and wondering what BMG might do with classical ballet artists. This became a fun “thought experiment.”
Late to the party but I just watched Daniil at The Met last night and am now binge watching his old videos. This is lovely but to me the choreo doesn’t best showcase his extraordinary skills.
I'm not sure he is interested in 'showcasing his skills'. He appears to be using all his physical and mental skills in building collaborative choreography in a neo-classical genre. He continues to explore and grow.

Симкина увидела в Фейс- буке и запомнился... Уникальный он и аристократичный. В танце точный, лёгкий и грациозный. Симкин -- явление в Балете.
