I have also seen a similar version of this performed by the Hernandez brothers (Isaac & Esteban) - but I definitely prefer this version. I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly - but for me, this version has a much more "dramatic" impact, & I think the dancing is also better in many parts. It is also great to see this being performed by a father & son, & I think that also helps to add to the dramatic impact of it.
The dancing *is* better, the lines are cleaner, they are more in sync and more elegant, their movement is more controlled and refined, and Daniil Simkin's gymnastic moves are simply exquisite, as always. And, perhaps, most importantly, they are more musical.
