Something i see is that they see how easily it is to destroy a man. One little word or accusation from them and its all over. What disgusts me is that they are aware of this and revel in it. They literally are dangerous to even be around now and they love it and have no shame in making it clear they know it.

The society we live in today turns relationships into a big game that no one wins. Not men or women. Relationships based on lust are doomed to fail because you need something much deeper to stand the test of time.

@@BrettM-lw2zt Men get duped as well. Women are not as innocent as you may think lol. People who decide to sleep around regardless of gender are fools because they don’t realize how valuable their sexual energy is. I’m coming from a traditional perspective so I believe In terms of pair bonding as well as vitality you must only give this energy to your spouse who you carefully choose. Sex itself can create life and is an exchange of energy so there must be caution. The problem with society now is that it has cheapened it into something like junk food. Think of dating apps and just swiping through faces like it’s a menu.

Great discussion. As a conservative female, I would disagree with one thing: A man who wants a healthy relationship should not be dating females who pose on social media. This is setting yourself up for a high failure rate by trying to find a devoted woman from a pool of highly narcissistic sexual attention-seekers who need validation from men online. The problem is there are good men in the middle who make a good living. Close to 6 figures but maybe not fully 6 figures. But a lot of women insist on an above average guy with an above average income, when they themselves are average women. Not bad wonen, not unattractive women, but very much on the same level as the men they dismiss. Quite disappointing for decent guys who earn a good living to hear "not good enough" from someone who realistically is in the same average segment of society. It makes the problem look one-sided when you consider this phenomenon

As a widower of 3 years after 32 year great marriage - I cannot AMEN you more !
I never dreamed finding another woman - anywhere NEAR the caliber of my late wife - was so insanely challenging.
So many divorced damaged women OR widows / divorcees with full bank accounts & feel NO need for a man in her life.
I bet I'm seeing 20-30 single women & men (less men cause we die earlier) that roughly COULD get together for companionship & marriage but don't.
Only 1 romance or remarriage amongst those 30 potential matches !
Whats more insane is I'm a Christian & this is amongst a senior highly churched / Christian group.

@@psalm2forliberty577 Both of my brothers-in-law were 54 when they passed in 2020 (neither from covid). My sisters were 49 and 53. They have both remarried. One had a marriage that only lasted a year bc it ended up being a terrible match. She has since married again and much happier. They mostly used Christian, online dating sites. It seems that many men misrepresented their true identities, including married men and ones that had no clue about Christianity. I think I'd rather stick to the traditional ways of meeting like church and mutual friend connections. I prefer face to face contact. I guess I'm a little old fashioned.
We don't have a perfect marriage, but we've managed to work through the bumps and kind of grown up together. I feel like we are a pretty good match. It seems like the chances of hitting that jackpot more than once in life are next to impossible. He says that he doesn't see me being the type to run out and get remarried. Besides, I have a pretty large family, so they could keep me busy! 😉
Sounds like you are taking good care of yourself. Eating right and being physically active does wonders for the body, mind and spirit. It has gotten me through many a trial. I call exercise my antidepressant. 🙃 My father had dementia, along with arthritis. I think he was most likely insulin resistant. I, being the stubborn person that I am, am bound and determined to do everything I can to prevent going down that same road. I walk at least 4 miles per day with a 30# backpack and catch as many hills as possible. I lift weights 2-3 times a week and do keto/carnivore. I'd like to start doing a bit more biking. We have some nice trails along the Columbia River that I've walked, but never riden. I, like you, choose to not drink my calories. I occasionally have fruit, but have not eaten sugary treats in ages. That stuff now gives me an instant headache. It's just not worth it!
Good luck on your health journey! May God bless you!

This talk really hits home. As a woman in her mid-30s, I went back to school to get my master's degree two years ago... I never felt that I was attractive enough to play the dating game, so I put all my efforts into my career and school. Unfortunately, when you feel all you have to offer is to be a good person, that's not enough in todays age. Luckily, I have had a great guy for 6 years who continues to love me and support my ambitions despite all that. I met him at 28, and that was really pushing it. It definitely gets harder to meet the right person as you get older. Thank you Mike for inviting Rich on the program. It takes a lot of courage to say things people don't want to hear.

Nobody, man or woman, is going to have a good relationship if they haven't found happiness in themselves by themselves first. This man is not happy, he's bitter, he needs to heal from what's happened to him, then his perspective will change.
Men get stuck on the bad women too. I think it's because the "bad" ones, men or women, are very flirty & people get drawn to that. A lot of what is said here is true for both men & women in fact.
Interesting conversation but it's confusing too, as a woman, I'm not supposed to have a job or career, but I need to have my own place, but he should be the provider (how when I've got my own place?)
I'm 53 and grew up being taught to not depend on a man, to study and get a career, to "be it all" in a way. OK did that, what now? I think if men want women to be feminine so that they can take care of them & feel useful, then we need to go back to when women were taken care of, when they went from being taken care of by the family, then handed over to a man. But these aren't the times we are in. There is an evolution going on right now for sure. It's confusing for everyone.

Really love is a choice you make every day! The choice is how can i love them better. Because the default human nature is to think how can they love me. This guy desperately needs to read Genesis because it explains how and why marriage is exclusively God’s domain. Marriage was not man made but its a concept given from God. This guy sounds bitter and seems to project his experience onto others. "Misery loves company." Maybe his bad attitude is his problem. Some of us are monogomist. Ive been with my husband for 23 years now since we were 20. Both of us come from parents who married for life. We have 3 kids and work amazing as a team and share a similar vision. We work hard, play hard, laugh, tease each other, and have fun. We both agree that every aspect of our relationship, including desire, is even better today than it has ever been. Things were exhausting when kids were young but once they started getting older, we've found new freedom. Things that work for us is for me to respect him and to appreciate his strength in the family, show him that he is desired. We communicate and joke around. We both work outside home and work hard to keep the home and family running smoothly. He is great at being understanding and supportive (cause women can be moody) If you want your wife to want you in the bedroom, you have to take care of her first. Hopefully, that will keep her "into it" and reward you!

7:50 Hormonal birth control is only part of it. Back when HBC was introduced, there was a massive spike in the divorce rates....MARRIED women divorced the husbands they supposedly loved in their droves. So why would married women who supposedly loved their husbands start divorcing now that they can have sex WITHOUT having babies?
    It was because of money.
. HBC triggered a huge number of changes that allowed women to go make money. Women started going in greater numbers to university, and importantly they could stay and finish the courses whilst still having the sex they craved without getting pregnant and having to drop out. New technology created jobs that did not require a strongback to do, that were not in heavy industry, and most importantly where the types of job women WANTED to do.
The majority of marriages where because she NEEDED that man, and NOT because she wanted THAT MAN. Women only WANT the best. And the bottom 80% of men were NEEDED not WANTED. Take away a woman's NEED for that man's paycheck and protection and you null and void the reason the overwhelming majority of women got married the lower 80% men.
Women have ALWAYS been interested in only the BEST. Its just historical they had to give a typical man what he wanted (sex, children, companionship) in exchange for his protection, provisioning and parental investment {PPP) Now women can get the PPP by making it her self or getting it via the government. Allowing her to only consider the top 20% of men. (Resulting in lower marriage rates and birthrates)
Now all men and women pay taxes that fund government policies and projects that enable women to live without men, as so she does not have to be what a man wants inorder to make any individual man WILLINGLY give her the PPP.
The more polices that are paid for by all men's taxes, to enable women to have the PPP without attracting and keeping any individual man in her life, the less women NEED the bottom majority of men. The less they have to care about what men want.
The lack of marriages are possible a total Net Positive for men. Remember these were marriages of necessity not marriages of desire. These had a great chance of being sexless marriages of quiet desperation. Men are now not sought by women for their PPP NEEDS in the number they were before. So if society changes that enable men to get their sexual and desire for children needs met another way outside of these marriages of necessity that could be very good for men.

  • @bolt9110
    @bolt9110 Před 21 dnem

53:00 because women have more options than men, the only relationships that will last are the relationships that the women is CHASING, AND WANTING.
If she is not chasing for a relationship WITH YOU its because she perceives she has better options elsewhere.
Therefore its in men's best interest (and sanity) to be less emotionally invested than the woman. And to build up his emotional investment lagging behind the level he is receiving from her. Otherwise a man runs the risk of oneitis and over investing in a woman who does consider him better than she deserves.

I feel kind of embarrassed for him after watching this with all his insecurities laid bare, sad really. I think that guy Rich is twice divorced and seems to be obsessed with never making himself vulnerable to any woman again, and looks for women he can essentially abuse and control. He has zero accountability for his own short comings as a partner and prefers to just blame women for his own failure. Its also a huge grift for him, he was trying to be some kind of youtube business guru but only got views when he bitched about his ex wife and so he leaned into that. His old "business" was exploiting people who were in a lot of debt with shady consolidation loans. Canadian law closed the loop holes that had allowed predators like him to operate and so he had to find a new way to make an easy and exploitative living and moaning about women and milking incels and other bitter men for money was his new cash cow. It very much diminishes the channel to have this man on here.

This guest is living in his own fantasy world.
    1. Most wages are not "high six figures" but lower mid five figures in North America and similarly low-ish middle class or lower in 99% of the world.
    2. Most women don't sleep with several men and YET the marriages are a disaster because a girl's giggly sexual memories with a guy when she was young makes her remember him fondly and feel resentment towards a good guy husband that she marries. And because of lack of husband's authority and wife's submission.
    3. Male job is not to be a clown alpha entertainer to the female. Male leads with confidence, female quietly or joyfully is his submissive helper. She thanks him for being her leader, he is then kind to her. Literally this is the way sexual chemistry and often enthusiasm existed in marriages throughout the world for thousands of years of human history - male is dominant sexually and in areas outside of sex, female both sexually and in areas outside of sex submits and feels feminine and serves male obediently or often from her own desire and feels feminine. Both keep their heart content from gratitude for family, domestic life.
Most marriages in most of history EVERYWHERE were young marriages. SEVERAL had sincere love because the young female mind was soft and had not been hardened from vanity, money, status etc. Then in marriage there were clear cut gender roles of female doing the domestic feminine nurturing work (food) and cleaning and the male doing the harder work of providing - farming / artisan work / selling something in his shop etc., in which the wife assisted and the work as head of the household and planning and solving various domestic matters. And boys and girls of parents were raised for their respective gender roles. Marriage was for most people and not optional from the start. Girls pickiness did not exist because each guy, each girl were given offers or four to to five suitable candidates in the marriage market through matchmaking through community institutions. Female greed from too many choices from high school, college and wandering all around from 16 to 23 has been a disaster in this modern era and majority women will end up being single unlike a few lucky ones who will lead life in joy being enthusiastic feminine lifelong mates to their respective men.

Communication! Communication! Communication! If you’re having good communication with your partner, issues are brought up way before it’s a problem so there is no “nagging” or “ignoring “ by either party. If you start from the get go, and have conversations at the moment in an open, understanding way, I think could change the game for many. I totally get this isn’t going to happen with most that are having the issues you are talking about.

Because we fail to adhere to simple ideas, like loving our neighbor as we love ourselves, Commandments get rewritten which is why we were told to love our neighbors as the Lord loves us, because then it takes away the option of being selfish. By that time in history, there was a big enough population that it could be one to one but the Lord never condemned Abraham nor King David nor any others for having more than one wife because it was necessary, and permitted. Remember the Lord's understanding is above our understanding but the Christ also knew that the union that is marriage happens anytime intercourse happens which is why it was written that the woman at the well had many husbands yet never married
