These are GREAT. I love them all! And I have big news…🤸♀️🤸. I was at my tiny little DT yesterday ($72.00 later) I was informed that they are EXPANDING! They had a few $3-5 things that I absolutely had to have. The lady checking me out knows me - I probably am the craft purchase queen - but she smiled when I told her I was happy about the one small shelf of plus items. She looked me in the eye and said - you’ll be happy with our expansion. (Rue 21 moved out next door) I think I could have done cartwheels and I thought about it but the other customers would have laughed at the 73 year old me attempting to bend my body and I also remember I couldn’t do them that great in 5th grade…but I can hardly wait! I thought the shelves were a bit bare and now I know why! I’m so excited, I just can’t hide it…Pointer sisters seems like the appropriate song. Anyway I needed to share….❤️❤️❤️
I used to just go in to grab a couple small things with a little cash in my pocket. Hahaha. Of course I had to go back out for the debit card because 1) no will power and 2) I NEEDED more for my stash. Now I wonder if I should've arranged for a bank loan. I know you get me. Lol.
😅 yes ma'am, I follow you.
Bring on the magic, girl!😍
Oh my you out did yourself.... they are all great but that last one is GORGEOUS.
Absolutely beautiful. I learn something new every time I watch your videos. Thank you for sharing.💜💜
Awww💛💚💙
I absolutely love your projects! My only gripe, and it’s a small one is that you don’t show the finished product quite long enough because they’re so beautiful and I would like to see them more.
I am working on that! I have had a few also ask for longer reveals!! Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate you!!
Thanks! I like regular Elmer's glue to create a crackle texture... It's pretty easy and there are a bunch of videos on it. I am still going through the decoupage video playlist. I'm want to get better at it before I do it on a real project...🤣😂🤣
Thanks for the info!💛💚💙
Love your decopauge papers! Beautiful! I just love them and your videos. I have learned a lot with a bit of comic relief! Thanks for sharing your talent!
I'm so glad girlie!! Thank you for loving me! I'm always happy to provide a little comic relief
Loved your little truck hack! You’re so funny girl! Thanks for that……😂
I never knew I could use Mod podge for iron-ons. I watched twice to absorb the info 🤗❤️👍🏽💯
Brandi your silly seriousness is refreshing!🎉
Thanks Brandi. Great idea's. I loved them all. Especially the last one, gorgeous.
Thanks for the tip with the canvas. Thanks Brandi
Thanks for sharing your tips with us. I liked the last project you made especially once you added the texture paste. -Sarah
I can't pick a favorite, I love all of them!! They're so cute and awesome hacks!!😊👍💜
Thank you for this video, Brandi. I learned so much. I didn't know that there was a fabric Mod Podge. I will definitely be picking up some gloss Mod Podge and trying the napkin and canvas diy. I love all your videos and your sense of humor keeps me coming back for more. Oh.. I almost forgot, I picked the rooster for the pot holders. I appreciate you!!! ❤
The flower or the Rooster. Love them both.
Great techniques. For the crackle technique I prefer to use white school glue, like Elmers. And yes I have found you get different results depending on the amount of glue and paint used. I don't use a heat gun though.....I like to let mine dry naturally. But everyone has their favorite ways of doing things and getting the results they want. Thanks for sharing 😊 Hugs....Janie
Most beautiful napkin I ever seen blue butterfly amazing
Thank you! It was a gift from a subbie!!
I so love your videos and I love everything you made. Thank you for sharing your ideas and knowledge. You are a brilliant teacher.
I appreciate that! I try !!!
Thanks, Brandi, for showing the decoupage hacks. Everything you make is beautiful! I'm in the mood to try the etched glass idea you demonstrated. Well done! ☺☺
you can also use school glue and it makes good cracks on the paint as well ❤
I guessed wrong - the rooster is what I thought you'd pick. Mod Podge is amazing; I enjoyed learning all these artistic uses!!
Loved all these projects. Havent tried decoupaging other than napkins or tissue papers on glass jars.
I like the truck the most, it seems to be a more modern decor of a vintage time and nice to see the load of flowers. This truck must be becoming an all season motif
Truck, of course!😉
I learned a lot! Thanks Brandi.
I'm so glad!💚💙💛❤️
I sometimes come for the crafts. Mostly, I come to listen to your directions. You sound like my kind of gal.
I love that!!!
Rooster!! thats the one i would have picked
You are hilarious! Love your your tutorials.
💛💙❤️💚
The girl on the wood with the texture design is AWESOME ❤ You have such skills for creativity and inspiration. 😊
Thank you so much 😀 I really appreciate that!
Whoo hoo I finally got some of your paper. I'm so excited 😊
I hope you love it!!
Loved the truck 🛻
I use the modpodge on glass using a makeup sponge or sponge brush & dab it on, works great!
Great Tip ! Thank you!
Fabulous
last one was my fav!! Sure was quiet tonight without you!!!
(hugs)
I picked the truck as well...as usual Brandi you did a great job
Truck! I've mod podged napkins onto book pages and... gorgeous 🥰😍! I still have not used my mod podge stiffy yet!! I enjoyed watching! TYFS 🥰🥰
I loves that wood project!! My hubby brought me home the crackle Mod Podge, have you ever used it? I love working with your papers, they are so gorgeous!! You are amazing girl, keep on showing us new things. HUGS
Teal is one of my favorite colors, I like that one best. But they are all fab .😅🎉❤
Wow the trucks look like iron on patches. I was holding my breath when u were painting the napkin, I would have shredded it lol. Thanks for the hacks & laughs.
I for sure have napkins I would never have attempted this on. Mod podge just touching it would have either melted it or decoupaged on to something..lol
Very informative video. Well demonstrated
Glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate that!
Thesebare awesome!
Thank you for sharing all your do's and your don't
❤Love all your crafts❤
Flower!
Thank you, great teaching!
Love these.
If you end up with crusty papers and are a journal maker, they are perfect as pages in your journal.
I dont think I've told you how much I like that little iron. Its perfect for crafts. I had a standard size iron that is just to large for what im using it for, so I gave it away and am planning on getting a small one like yours.
LOL Bad influence. You're awesome any way!
Awe !! I absolutely love the crackel finish on the sweet little girl.
She's simply adorable !!
I haven't done the crackel method yet, but have saved this video to do some.
I just looked at your papers for sale. I'm seriously thinking of ordering some. They are gorgeous and not to expensive for my budget !!
I love the girl and bunny❤ I have used the TDS Paper and it is so easy to work with, stunning images 😊
I'm so happy you love it! Thank you so much for stopping by and hanging out with me!
I love the rooster
Hi brandi diy donna here love them all the last one is beautiful no to both of your questions never used anyone of them thank you for the video
So clever. TFS
Love all the ideas! I bought these cutting pens (Temu) that look just like a writing pen. They help with cutting little shapes on vinyl if a person doesn’t have a cutting machine. But scissors work great too! 😂 😂😂
Armour etch is really easy to use, I've used it for years and made some beautiful mirrors, etc. With it you should try it
The flowers

Loved them all.thanks
I love watching your videos! You are so fun and real!
I love your attitude!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you so much!
I love this piece it came out absolutely beautiful. I have used this process before and I do like it however I did buy some crackle stuff. I am looking forward to trying that paste on the stencil for my next project. Thanks for sharing because I learned something new with the napkin on the cloth. I am going to have to try that. Thanks!!!
The Truck!!!!
The truck!
Thanks, loved your video
You did really good I had a sandblast machine and this is better ❤❤❤❤
I would pick the try but I think you picked the flower
The glass etching cream works really well. Don’t worry too much about it.
I worry bout erry thanggg
I absolutely love your videos. I'm a new Crafter , I'm learning a lot from your tutorials....❤❤❤ you're funny and entertaining. I've learned a lot from your boo boos... and your knowledge 😊
If you use a dry sponge brush to lightly dab it on, you will get an amazing texture ❤❤❤(first project)
Thanks for the tip!
Use the dishwasher safe mod podge for your etching project. It’s much harder.
Awesome techniques ❤
I most definitely be practicing that Mod Podge crackle effect (I only used crackle paints on ceramics when I was trying to get to learn how to use it but have attempted since then). This technique (although tedious … I don’t mind btw) can be an alternative to use for future DIYs. Learning new tricks of the trade is always a good thing for little me. M…😂😂😂
I would use the truck!
I was hoping you'd use the truck!! Too fkn cute ! 8:55
Yay!!!!
I learned a lot from you❤ thank you❤
I’m a newbie and I love this they all where just beautiful I love it tyfs this I really love the canvas so pretty hugs ❤
(Hugs) right back at ya!!! Nice to meet you Kathycortez!!!
Mahvelus❤
i like you . thanks for being real
I appreciate that
The truck? Lol.
For the etched glass look, could you use a sponge pouncer instead of a paint brush? Just a thought…🤔
I like this thought!
Ooo ooo ooo!! Maybe even add a little tint of color and get a colored frost!!!
Didn’t get to pause in time but I was gonna say flowers ☺️
hahah! The flowers are so pretty!
I've never tried Modge Podge. It's a little spendy. I use the cheapest school glue with great success.
Love your videos ❤
Love it
🎉🎉🎉
Flower
The truck
second...but first thumbs up!!
hahaha
I rarely use Mod Podge but decided to look into what can be done with it. If you do designs like Mandelas with colored pencils can those be Mod Podged onto boards or canvases? I had no idea you would have to use an iron. This is all new news to me.
Truck ❤
I wonder if decoupaging a white tissue paper or adding more layers and no paint would create etched glass Just ideas may have to try but if someone knows if these have been tried let me know Awesome very unique beautiful original ideas in this video Much appreciated
First!
So many great ideas! Thank you.
Would a sponge application prevent the streaks on the faux etched glass? Regardless it looked great.
Love that napkins would you please let me know where did you buy them
Mary, I get napkins all over and from people! It's hard to narrow down specific ones. I have 100s of designs. I have napkin Bundles on my website Thediystruggle.com.
I do have a browsing channel I shop at and take people along so they can see when and where I get specific things. I hope that helps
Where did you get your napkins? I don’t even have anything like that. They’re beautiful.
I get them from a bunch of places. Hobby lobby, home good,tj maxx, Amazon. I even have subscribers send me some. I have decorative Bundles always available on my website to, to offer decorative solutions and options for your decor. Thediystruggle.com Hope all this helps
This is beautiful... But I was wandering, 🤔did your glitter come out cloudy, using that much mod podge on it to seal it ???
I messed up a new pillow sham with fabric mod podge. I used lace...that sucker was glossy and hard
Yep it can be
@@thediystruggle so I ordered some more mod podge and pillow shams and will try your method. Wish me luck...lol
I was surprised you used a diff method to get crackle effect when there’s a Mod Podge Crackle product. I just bought it and hadn’t tried it (I didn’t know there was a fabric mod podge either😂).
Now that I tried the Mod Podge Crackle product I know why you didn’t use it -it doesn’t work.
I tried it on 3 diff things, all had either acrylic paint or Waverly chalk paint underneath and none produced anything other than looking like a Lt gray watery paint wash top coat. So disappointed. On the item painted black it gave it weird a blue tint. The directions said to accentuate or exaggerate the crackle, use a watery paint wash over top and I did that and still nothing. I followed all the Mod Podge Crackle instructions to a T and am so disappointed 😢! If anyone has any suggestions or advice-I’m happy to hear it.
Love your work & videos. I love using Dollar Tree/Store & Walmart items for my art and crafts - I often end up using them when I stage houses. It’s great to find a kindred spirit & everyone here has so much knowledge and experience they share. You’ve cultivated an awesome community! 😘👌
I’m going to try your crackle method and some others to start over. The biggest project is some 5” wood letters I painted with a white primer, deep red on the sides & face, then black only on the face -then sanded the edge to weather the look. It exposes the white primer & red under the black but I wanted to take it next level. I thought crackle would further weather the look to mimic recycled sign lettering I used in a diff project she admired for my daughter’s studio above her inspiration board.
I do want to try the crackle medium from plaid! I just haven't gotten it yet! I love all those stores! I try to switch everything up because not everyone likes dollar tree and not everyone can afford to buy tons of brands that are not dollar tree! I hope I am covering as many angles as I can!!!
