This program was such a blessing to me. I could get through an episode s i couldn't speak English well, let alone understand the accent, but i was always blessed by it.
Looks like an earlier episode than what I was familiar with (saw some of the reruns when they aired on TBN, but those apparently were toward the end of its run {roughly mid-1980s})
Anybody out there has any old Circle Square episodes back in the 70's era, and in the early 80's era in their archives? Anybody out there also has an episode of Circle Square in their archive where Eggbert goes for his overview?
I could never get through an episode of this show. It was a little culty. Heavy with the messages like Davey & Goliath but without the compelling characters.
@@cp-jc2784 CBC, CKVR in Barrie, and TVO... CTV Kitchener only if the weather was good. :) Global came later. Could sometimes get North Bay as well, but rare.
It's Cleveland Jr @ 2:04. I wonder if the chummy kids (the ones with their arms around each-others shoulders) are still friends or @ least are in touch with each other. And I wonder if their adult selves re-watch this & shudder !! Circle Square was cheeseily great !!
This is a long shot, but does anybody else remember the show that came on before this? Around 1992-1994? It was another children's religious show, it was called "First Story" or something. It's like a real life creepypasta because I can't find any evidence of it anywhere
Corey Law Probably 1983-84, based on the U.S. address for Pittsburgh, PA (also for Crossroads’ flagship show 100 Huntley Street); by the end of its run in 1986, it had a Rockford, IL address.
I would have to say that I did not agree with the Batman and Robin Commercial that they played in here. Using the word, "Holy" is not something to be played around with. It is and needs to be respected.
Malachi 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Job 5:24 And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. Isaiah 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Sadly, this creepy dumpster fire of a kid show was on the whitelist my religious parents let me watched growing up. I later found out this show was mostly just an advertisement for selling Christan song records and some Christan summer camp somewhere in Ontario.

I ordered their sing along book and sang the songs all the time! Back in the day before Amazon was around, you really had to wait! Peace!
WFHL TV 23 in Decatur, Illinois USA ran this in the 1980’s. TBN ran this into the 2000’s.
Great show from my childhood! Circle came on right after Gospel Bill on Saturday mornings, Channel 57 in Denver
My brother and I had grown out of this show, by the mid '80s, so it blows my mind to learn that it was still going, in the late '80s
That song is still amazing funky fire!!! Everyone, we grew up at the perfect time in history!
Wow just wow ..this shit brings by memories.. I grew up watching the re runs in the 90s but this shit brings back memories
Loved this show!
Marcey Ian from CTV NEWS!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!
I knew she looked familiar.

Really? She looks like Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the United States
This show was a little unsettling even as a youngster.
I still have their address memorized.
I can only remember the last line of it, but that helped me find the name of this show!
Me too

Most Canadian shows were trash. But I liked this, it was better than Beachcombers and the Littlest Hobo…

The textbook definition of boredom on a Sunday in Canada in the 1980s.

I always thought as a kid that their smiles were un-natural and it was unsettling.
I used to watch this show as a kid. The guy, whose name is Aaron, used to go to elementary school with me. I wonder how he is doing now.

Yeah, plus all of those perfect, smiling kids. They made Barney the dinosaur tolerable, though.
You have no idea how many channels in the US played this over and over!
@@ChristopherSobieniak I'll bet that's very true, considering how the evangelicals are so invasive.

Lolz..😆🤣 as an adult I can say yes very culty..
Davey and Goliath what a very scary TV show for kids
This played around 5am, before we watched real cartoons before going to school.

Almost as creepy as the host from the other CTV classic "Just Like Mom"
