The closest I could get to was 820
and the difference between my solution to get there and the actual solution to 826 is only one step
7 x 9 = 63
6 + 5 + 2 = 13
63 x 13 = 819 + 1 = 820

Solved it by listing the factors of 826 and .. took a couple of minutes with a calculator

For the first puzzle, I found NEUROGLIA (a class of cells in the brain and spinal cord that support and insulate neurons). For the numbers, I deduced 6!=720. 5!=120. 720+120=840. 840-9-7+2=826. For the third puzzle, I found PUTAMEN (a shell membrane). For the final puzzle, I unearthed INHALES.
