I think what really sells the realism here is the tiny vellus hairs that cover the face and contribute to sub surface light diffusion. Most models I've seen don't have that which is why they have a more "plastic" look to them. This model has a fantastic amount of detail.

Well it's worse being this talented and not being acknowledged. This guy has only 36k subs from 5 million views among his other videos. So roughly over 3 million people watched this and went away.
This man has been practising for decades. To chalk this up to talent alone isn't fair - ceaseless dedication to learning and persistent improvement of his craft brought him here. If you do the same in any field you choose, you could be this impressive. Anybody can choose to dedicate themselves to something like this if they like. Whether or not they'll have the resolve to see it through to this level of skill is another question.
