After almost a year break from MHW i finally got a new PB, BY 2 SECONDS KEKW. Same strat, same mistakes, still sloppy PepeLaugh but hey, at least the video quality is much better now.

At velkhana set is so fluid and snappy everytime i try and use say a safi or fatalis i just keep coming back for my built in quick sheathe, and recovery up.
Yeah ikr! Also that max Crit Draw is so nice for Greatsword users. It's great to have at least an option that is comparable to Fatalis set. It's kind of tiring to see half of the player in the random lobby that i joined are using Fatalis set.
Yep and if people wonder about good openings to sheathe for it all you have to do is just eat a might pill when you get a clutch stagger or a topple I like to tell my palico to attack, eat a pill and blade dance. And even without usually any attack boost except on my ice element build I can hit around 170s.

DBs are too strong in comparison with how easy they are to use lol, that frostcraft set go crazy
Agree! My main problem with DB is just stamina management and the range is really short. Kind of pain to fight against some monsters like Daora lol.

I think you're referring to the Frostcraft. You can get that by using 4pcs of Velkhana's Armor.
Another effect that i have is Zireael Layered Weapon from the Witcher Event Collab.
Both of them are not a mod, you can get them by getting their materials.
May I ask? How to have those blue green aura something when you dash?
That dash visual from Zireael Layered Weapon. You can unlock it from hunting an Ancient Leshen.

That's an animation from Zireael Layered Weapon. You can get that from the Event Quest Ancient Leshen hunt.

That's a Frostcraft meter. You get that by using 4pcs of Velkhana's armor.

Wait a second... is there an arch tempered Velkhana set thats different from regular velkhana? Please tell me i havent been slaying the wrong velkhana... xd
Yes, Arch Tempered Velkhana set is the Gamma ( γ ) set. You get it from a quest named "The Place Where Winter Sleeps". It's an MR100+ quest.
What's the logic behind using taroth daggers instead of kjarr?
It has higher raw attack and elemental attack compared to Kjarr

Casual set i would use Safi's fire dual blades and then maybe Velkhana's Helm, Yian Garuga's Leggings and 3 pieces of Raging Brach for the rest.
For speedrun tho, i'm still figuring out my comfort zone against it.
Might be the same as this one against The Evening but using Fatalis dual blades as weapon. But that would mean i need to kill it before it does the Escaton, which i'm still unable to do XD
Would this build be good for multiplayer or no?
That is of course depends on what monster you're hunting. Personally i wouldn't use this set for multiplayer setup because in multiplayer i usually just help others grinding some materials or fighting some hard monsters, would be inconvenience for others if i cart because i'm forcing to use this set, for example: Fatalis attacks (the fire ones) would be very painful when using this set because of negative Fire Resist.
But, if you're very confident with the monster match-up, go on ahead Champ!!

Wait Taroth Ice is better than Kjarr?
From my knowledge with this particular armor set, yes it is. It has higher both physical attack and elemental attack (with 3 Release). However, some people say that Kjarr is better in terms of versatility, yes i also agree on that one. You can use Kjarr with pretty much any set of armor because it has built in Critical Element. Meanwhile Taroth weapons require at least 2 pcs of Velkhana's.

Tbh i know very little about other weapons, but i do know a bit about Dual Blades, so i will answer strictly about Frostfang's DB Bergel Vetra.
If you don't have the access to get Kulve/Safi stuffs, Frostfang DB is a great weapon. It does have really good Sharpness as it starts with a bit of purple and huge amount of white Sharpness so you don't have to worry about Sharpness too often. The base Ice Element is kind of meh, BUT you can Augment it 4 times (3 times is enough in my opinion). It also have 15% Affinity by default so you only need to have 7 Agitator, 3 Weakness Exploit, and 3 Critical Eye to have 100%, Raging Brach's Arms, Faulds, and Greaves will help you get very close to that.
Also don't forget the Velkhana's Helm and Armor for Critical Element :).
What is the name of the skin please?
I think the legs are astral and the chest is savage pickle, waist and arms could possibly be buff body, head I'm uncertain

It prolongs the duration of every item buffs i use, such as Might Seed, Dash Juice and Demon Powder, also Protective Polish.
