I thought about waiting till the blu-ray release to start making videos, but let's face it: neither do I have the patience for it nor restraint, so here we are.
I'm sure I'll make more videos, covering different sides of the characters, but I thought I'd start with this one about Steve. He never backs down, he can "do it all day", he always gets up. He stands up for a little guy, even alone - he stands up against the whole army of aliens. Learn from him, remember him. Thank you, Captain.

I feel so lucky to have grown up with these characters being an influence on my life. Captain America will always be my fav Avenger.

Caps character arc is literally perfect. So well planned, written and excecuted. Literally every little phrase or thing has a meaning. And Chris performance was outstanding. Will never forget u cap. The first and (my) fav avenger.

It's only a happy ending if you ignore the implications and consequences of that very last scene. Steve was more than my favourite character, he was the one who made me care about what was going on with the MCU, instead of just watching and forgetting about it right away. That the very final scene he was in has completely changed my interpretation of his character and ruined it for me is something I'll never get over.

Cap deserved the farewell as depicted at the end of Endgame. I mean a man who gave up everything to build a better world deserves his life at the end of his mission. We are going to miss Steve in marvel phase 4.

Guys believe it or not.... But marvel is marvelous....not because of its action or theories but because of these actors who put life in these characters.... We always say we love Steve Rogers more than Chris Evans....now u can feel it

My motivational hero ever
What a lot of people don’t realize and what makes me want to fucking cry is the fact that before everyone came back through the portals, Steve was under the impression that it was only him left, he had a broken shield and was worn down. It was only him vs thanos and the chitauri and he still didn’t back down.

@Viper Hareous I have seen lots of Stucky fans on YT and Tumbrl going rabid over the Endgame ending because it didn't fulfill their fantasies about Steve and Bucky getting together. The toxicity reached Star Wars' levels - childhoods were ruined, writers should be shot etc. It's pathetic.
@@zuzanka1981 I'm not a Stucky shipper and I'm upset as hell about his ending. I could go on for days about it, but rest assured, there are fans out there whose outrage at the ending isn't based on Steve & Bucky getting together.
I feel so lucky that I got to grow up with these amazing characters. Those movies gave me another perspective of life, I learned to see things differently and I learned to stand up for myself and others. I am very thankful to Marvel for starting this incredible journey and for letting all the fans be a part of it.

Amazing vid! Steve's by far my favourite fictional character ever and while it's sad that his story is over (that we know of) in the MCU, I'm so glad he got a happy ending as this video showed all he's been through and how much he deserved it.

All time my no.1 superhero is Captain America.
I'm sad because of Steve and now I'm mad Bucky was left in the future
Watching the second time & paying attention to Bucky's reaction, I think he & Steve had already discussed things. Bucky seemed a bit confused when Steve didn't come back, but he didn't seem upset. When he saw Steve on the bench Bucky looked like he understood what was going on. I don't think that Bucky felt the same as Steve regarding missing out on life. Being basically brothers I think Bucky was just happy for Steve.
@@anglib78 maybe but for me it felt like Steve kinda didn't fulfill his part of "till the end of the line" promise. I swear I would be less sad about it if they discussed Steve's plans on screen and he asked Bucky to go with him, Bucky would say "I can get by by my own" (reference) and Steve would be like "the thing is, you don't have to". But Bucky would say "no, go get your girl, I'm not alone anymore", they would hug for an unhealthy amount of time and then the rest would be the same as in the movie. Idk, I can dream tho:)

Honestly I have decided I want to believe he just went back to get his dance & then Peggy told him to go live his life. So he did. I haven't thought it through any further at this point. The whole time travel plot device has me vv annoyed. As a fan of Doctor Who & many other time travel related stories as well as having a scientific mind, their "explanation" of time travel left much to be desired... like a plausible explanation. Bottom line I am happy they didn't kill Steve & super excited that Sam is the new Cap. Also I'd love if they stick a few Old!Steve & Bucky scenes in the new Sam & Bucky show. That would be a blast.
@@anglib78 My issue goes far beyond Bucky knowing or not. He knew and still, despite all the horrors he went through, he didn't go hide in the past like Steve. That's the very worst for me (and that's taking the Russos interpretation that it's an alternate timeline, because the writers' intention was for Steve to have lived the rest of his life in the timeline we've been following all along, that's why he doesn't reappear at the machine but on the bench! Not only it contradicts their own time travel theory, it's so terrible in every way I/you look at it, I can't believe it was thought of by the very same people who had been writing Steve all along! I feel honestly cheated and betrayed!). Steve, the guy who wouldn't back down, eventually broke. When everyone else (including a just returned Bucky, once again out of place) was dealing with the aftermath of the events, Steve quitted. Like those old people who can't deal with the present and wither away wishing for the 'good old days' to come back, he couldn't take the pressure anymore and chose to hide in the past, making a life with a person we knew had found a way to move forward without him and becoming stronger in the process.
What happened to the Steve in that timeline? Did he leave him in the ice, condemning him to the same trauma of waking up years later and living without the woman he loved? Because, you know, you shouldn't meet your other self or bad things will happen. Also, when he returned to the timeline we know, did he leave his family, children and grandchildren, and friends behind so that he could die by Bucky's side? From what we know, if he tried to go back he'd just create a different timeline.
Sorry for the long rant, I can't find a way for that poisoned happy ending to actually make sense.
@@XofHope I couldn't have said it better. I do not think that Steve would've gone back permanently. Maybe to get his dance, but not permanently. And I know he'd have told Peggy everything. And I am certain Peggy wouldn't have let him stay. Bc they are all about the greater good. So, yeah, I just keep reminding myself that Sam is the new Cap.

I came here expecting Imagine Dragons....
What I got was SO Much Better!
For the longest time, Iron Man was my favourite Avenger (simply because, he was the one who started it all).
But as time has passed & I've grown up, I've found Cap to be a MUCH more compelling character (the Russos really know who to take characters and make them extremely interesting).
I'm glad that no matter what, Cap has stood tall, and fought for what he thought was right. He planted himself like a tree and said, "No. YOU move...."

After Endgame i felt like my heart got ripped out of my chest. I already miss Chris Evans as Steve Rogers so much. He will always be the one and only Captain America and my favourite character. The MCU will never be the same without him.

I feel Cap gets overshadowed by IronMan and Thor to some extent, but you gotta have a leader, a “glue guy”, and someone who never quits, and Cap is all those things.

I think cap can use the hammer that the best reason is he has done everything which starts good ,even in the civil war he lied to Tony because he didn't want Tony get hurt ,and he has never hate him because the fight.That is why he can use the hammer.

I love that scene in Endgame where Steve straps his broken shield and starts to walk towards Thanos and his army because he’s willing to give up everything and fight even if hes the last one standing. Captain America is my favorite MCU character and Chris Evans has become one of my favorite actors! Chris Evans is Cap.
