SCOTUS Justices are not above the law. Put a few of them in jail, and you will see a change.
i think that is incorrect. the SCOTUS are the highest law in the land and therefore do have some form of being above the law. They are the ones that pass the laws regarding how their 'gifts' are legal.
I think they are proving that statement false, they can do what they want and the Constitution be damned. This is the sad truth.

@@kingjames1308 They don't pass laws, they interpret law it's either constitutional or it's not. They also tell lower courts how to interpret the law. Only congress passes laws. Executive branch enforces laws. This is how is supposed to work.

The obvious judicial response to the suggested level of lawfare would be to hold the DOJ and Senators in criminal contempt. If congress wants to do their job as a legislative branch, they have the appropriate authority. If they want to cross over into semi-judicial or executive action, it may not go well for them.

No investigation at that time, because of Thomas’ lynching accusation on TV. The senators, instead of investigating Hill’s accusation against Thomas, immediately caved in, apologized and voted for the criminal.

The existing State panels that review ethic complaints of State Judges referenced by Sen. Whitehouse may be in place and functional but they are not effective.

I can honestly say that I've never heard any politician or mainstream media organization say anything publicly of a racist nature against CT. He's been respected as a Supreme Court Justice. It's clear he's not been as upstanding as we believed him to be. He's made things more difficult for himself by not coming clean, lying, and not recusing himself when he should have. And yet still he hasn't been publicly accused of his misdeeds because "You know black people do this kind of thing". Thomas made his own choices, and we have to wait to find out if there will be any consequences...✌️
