Tuning the CBH 2016

Shown here is my method of tuning. I use a tuning cap, a digital tuner app in my iphone calibrated at A4=444, a lap top with the spreadsheet of all the notes and reading, a mini drill with a rotary file, blade to support underside of reed, a mini wrench to align reed, a bent screwdriver to adjust gap and a mini chisel to clean reed slots.

Did you find that the tuning stayed the same for the most part after you reassembled the harmonica? I have heard the tuning will change because of the individual chambers of the CBH2016 design. I have a few and have repaired chromatic harmonicas before, just not this design. Did you buy that tuning cap?

Do reads tend to go flat with age/playing and need touch up retuning to raise pitch?
