In these interviews international art historians, museum directors and researchers focused on, among other things, esotericism, we have created a miniseries about Hilma af Klint's life and art. In this first episode we get to listen to the author and Hilma connoisseur Julia Voss who tells about the different myths that surround Hilma af Klint - and what her dream of the temple is really about.

I saw the Guggenheim exhibition. Like a majority of the world, I had no idea who she was when I walked in. I definitely knew when I walked out.

Do you think that there's a link between the Architect Frank Lloyd Wright who designed the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in NY and
Hilma af Klint- Considering the idea she had for her spiral temple ?

The Guggenheim had a show of her work. How I wish I had seen it.

The Theosophical Society also had an 'esoteric section' which was quite secretive in its 'scientific' research & investigation

Oh . . . WOW. Before Einstein, there was Hilma af Klint ! Of course, the female painter was ignored, shoved aside, dismissed . . .

Sadly it’s mostly talking and split second glimpses of a few pieces of her work.

I'm not saying this is wrong, but what I understood was that she said not to show her art for 20 years after her death. In the first minutes of this interview, everything I'd heard was contradicted, but there wasn't anything shown to prove it. I'm all about seeing new information, but this is how Fox news ran their story on voting machines... Could we get some links to see the notebook entries? What shows did she do with her spiritual paintings? I knew that she had shown her contemporary art in the past, but never heard about this. Also, if she did do shows with her spiritual artwork, why wasn't there any stir about it? I'd imagine she would have at least inspired one person to talk about her afterward, but I've never seen anything about it. Again, not saying I know everything, but if you're going through the trouble of setting up and recording an interview, do your work and show it.
