While this is a Dire Straights song, this was performed by Mark Knopfler (Who was the lead singer/guitarist/song writer for Dire Straights) long after Dire Straights had broken up.
One of the best bands to ever come out of the UK, and one of the best guitarists in Mark Knopfler, Thanks Amie.

I was disappointed it was not the 1983 Alchemy concert version which is much better. They were at their peak then, full of passion and energy.

I hate to compare him to Bob Dylan. but I don't care for Dylan. he always looks so sour. And Mark's voice is so smooth, compared with the gravel that comes out of Dylan.
