Thank you Steak and Egg podcasters for visiting my little trailer! For the record, I didn't know who they were. I think anime is cool but it's not my thing, and I don't play video games, so I've never watched or heard the show. I didn't want to go into any personal things because I wanted to keep their private lives private. I was really nervous and talked way too fast, lol. I wanted to keep things light and fun for the show. I had such a good time. Robert, Zack, Emily, and Jae were really sweet and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you for watching! I love what I do. Right? I understand that sometimes people pretend to care in front of the camera, but Tectone is THERE for it!
Ngl, that reading was actually pretty cool and interesting. I was kind of rolling my eyes going in, and I wouldn’t necessarily suggest that people base life and death decisions on this, but I could easily see all three of them walking away from this with a slightly better perspective on things and being slightly more equipped to handle difficulties and challenges and honestly I guess that’s pretty real in and of itself.
To be honest, its like a combo of an algorithmic heuristic generator and people reading skills, and I bet if we could study outcomes, its close to as effective as psychiatrists. Just getting people to share, talk, and think about things in any kind of different framework is like 50%.

That's the whole point of this; the skill is reflecting what the people are giving you and making them think about it.
@@devonwilliams2423 That's what it is though. She was using a set with artwork that directly represents the card's meaning but in a way that it's easier to grasp for modern people. Tarot reading is largely based on intuition, what comes to mind immediately, etc. It's more to help people reflect and navigate based on their own "fill-in" of the card if that makes sense
It's all about interpreting what cards are revealed and using that to help others gain some insight. If you remove the spirituality, It's a mixture of RNG, practical advice, personal therapy, finding purpose and relevance in one's own life and outside-of-the-box insight.

As someone who can read tarot I was not at all surprised to see that Asmon had plenty of cups. Cups represent our inner self, our emotions and thoughts. He is known for being a lot inside of his head, not really minding the material world around him. Also it could mean abundance as in wealth :) not in the pentacle/coin direct meaning but in a state of wellbeing and I am OK where I am right now.
This was so amazing to watch. It was so deeply felt for me. I sobbed at the end, and wished for a journey like you guys got to experience. I think this was helpful for others who are seeking answers they never knew they had a questions for.

The tarot readings were really cool! They can make you think about things with different perspectives, I love it.
I'm not at all superstitious or spiritual and I do have some tarot cards and do readings because it's a good way to just sit there and think about something that's bothering you, make you think about it differently because of the meaning of the cards.
They're actually a great meditative/therapeutic tool.
@@ThatPinkOtter I do the same thing. You can also do some solo and group card games which are quite fun and more complex with pretty cards. They can be really inspiring pieces of art to carry with you, remind you of something important (like a new habit), or just something to look at and take inspiration from. There are also writing games where you can make spreads to create characters and short stories or plot points. It's a fun challenge. And the writing can be turned back into journaling if some aspects sparks introspection in you.

Set is Tyrian Tarot, really deck set of gilded tarot cards with characters from Guild Wars 2 by the GW2 Artist Collective, which is both official and hired unofficial artists. Still my single favorite collector's item bar none. c:

The one thing I love about fortune teller is that they can make u feel more confident than beside go to psychotherapy
plus going to a phsychiatrist usually puts people off, since many think it implies there's something inherently wrong with them, whereas in tarot reading you usually do for fun, and might come out feeling even better

Omg I was waiting for this! She read and explained the cards with the standard meanings, the real deal! Some people have trouble trusting themselves and tarot can offer reassurance. It gets you thinking about your own psychology and motivations. Plus its just weird and fun
